Paula and Luis were so very helpful even before our arrival - arranging our transfer to the hotel from the airport. From the moment we arrived we felt like part of the family, they provided great info about local restaurants, had local bus tickets for purchase and reconfirmed a boat tour we had booked ourselves. The view to the lake was stunning, the room was well appointed with a nice breakfast to start the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful hosts (Paula and Luis). Spacious comfortable room with great lake view. 7 kilometres out of town was actually a plus for us (nothing special about downtown Bariloche) -- especially since there are some good restaurants within walking distance (a very good one just across the road).

Great view from our room (ask for lake side), Good breakfast with homemade fresh bread and eggs, Very friendly hosts. Wifi in the room was very fast. Good Comfortable beds. View in the morning from the breakfast room is great. Although the location is outside the city center, there is a bus stop close by and 2 shops, and some restaurants.

First night on the saturday we had some more noise in the room comming from the street, after that we had no problem. The room was a bit light in the morning. Cleanup on the first day could have been better

rooms are close together and walls are not the thickest would not recommend this for a honeymoon couple but if you are in a group it is a very good place for everyone to stay together and the staff is very helpful with recommending places to visit and arranging taxi's and other transportation options for getting around town, etc..

Luis and Paula were very nice and welcoming. The view was very pretty and the hotel was clean and modern. I would recommend the hotel to friends.

Owner is a great person but a little pushy on booking sightseeing options through him.

Altuen Hotel and Spa was outstanding! Paula and Luis are the friendliest hosts we have found in our many years of travel to inns and B&Bs worldwide. They helped us with everything from luggage to excursion bookings to calling taxis (at better prices than if we caught a taxi ourselves), etc., but without ever being intrusive - the perfect balance. They were always there to answer our questions and they provided a lovely breakfast. The accommodations were new, clean and comfortable. The view of the lake from our room and from the large, comfortable "breakfast/living" room was beautiful. The location was convenient to downtown San Carlos de Bariloche (a short taxi ride) and the various sites for excursions and hiking. We loved our stay at the Altuen!

Great place to stay for a holiday in the Bariloche area. Walk to great places to eat. Easy access to town. Tours will pick you up at the front door, so no car needed. Hosts run the place and are the best! Will cater to all your needs. They speak English.

The room was great and perfect for what we needed. The best thing about it was Paula and her husband - who couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful to us. It was my boyfriend's 30th while we were there and they made us feel very at home, even giving him a present for his birthday. They booked all our trips and dinner reservations and were instrumental in helping us get the best from our time in Bariloche.

I was very impressed by the service. Luis and Paula (couple who own the hotel) are extremely kind and customer oriented. They've shown a genuine interest in making sure our stay was a great experience also helping plan our time at Bariloche (where to go, eat, etc). Highly recommended!

The staff. They are wonderful. The Place is beautiful too. Comfortable rooms.

Dos proprietários Luis e Paula, pois são muitos receptivos, prestativos e atenciosos com os hóspedes. Se comunicam muito bem em português, para os turistas brasileiros é muito favorável. O Hotel é aconchegante.

Só uma sugetão: Colocar frigobar nos aptos vai dar mais conforto aos hóspedes.

Excelente atenciòn y limpieza, nos hicieron sentir como en casa.

El lugar es espectacular! Muy bien ambientado, cómodo, impecable en cuanto a higiene y atención. Se notan detalles de buen gusto a cada paso. La cama, súper cómoda y amplia. La atención de Luis y Sra. es inmejorable. Siempre dispuestos a dar consejo y solución a las consultas, con una sonrisa y una frase amable. Al llegar, Luis nos recibió con una frase que creo que describe el espíritu de este lugar: "en tu viaje no existen los problemas, porque mi trabajo es solucionarlos para que vos puedas descansar". Y cumplió al pie de la letra....Gracias!!!!

En Altuen Hotel encontré la excelencia en atención personalizada,la calidez es el valor diferencial,ejemplos de eso,recuerdo varios,como por ejemplo el señor Luis preparandole los mapas a todos los pasajeros y viendo que necesitaba cada uno de forma personal,otro día vi como la señora Paula llevaba en el coche del hotel a un pasajero que no hablaba español a hacer una consulta en el hospital.Recordamos mucho nuestra estancia por ahí y no dudamos en recomendarlos.Increible nuestra vista al lago de la suite número 8,el desayuno con panes,mermeladas y huevos recien preparados una verdadera delicia. Los masajes super recomendables con una vista del lago hermosa.Si van a Bariloche seguro que no se van a olvidar de Altuen Hotel.

Lo mejor: la atención de sus propietarios Luis y Paula, siempre sonrientes y atentos para solucionar cualquier inconveniente. El lugar muy bonito con una hermosa viasta al lago Nahuel Huapi y la isla Huemul. Las instalaciones comodas, el lugar muy tranquilo especial para descansar, ya que está bastante alejado del centro, pero cerca de buenos restaurantes y playa.

Nos gustó la atención y dedicación de sus dueños, Paula y Luis. Nos han tratado de forma excelente desde que ingresamos hasta que nos retiramos del hotel. Siempre a disposición para atender nuestras dudas y asesorarnos de la mejor manera para realizar las excursiones. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y amplias. Y la vista al lago desde el hotel es hermosa.

La atención personalizada de Luis y Paula es excelente, tienen opciones surtidas para el desayuno incluyendo pan casero recien horneado y huevos revueltos recien hechos, tienen conexion wifi en las habitaciones y tambien caja fuerte. Buen lugar para relajarse y descansar

La atención y sugerencia de Luis y su señora Paula, no dejando detalle para que la pasemos muy bien y sugiriéndome caminos de ruta en bici, que es mi hobby y escapadas lugares y locales para almorzar y cenar. El Spa. y los colores del hotel todo una maravilla........y los conocí gracias a booking espero poder repetir estos días en otra temporada o mes.....saludos a todos.....de Jorge y Antonia. de Cap. Foram dias muito agradáveis. O diferencial do Altuen foi o atendimento. Sem o Luis e a Paula nossa viagem não teria sido a mesma. Tudo que precisamos, inclusive dicas sobre os passeios e reservas, eles estavam sempre dispostos a nos ajudar. Recomendo o hotel para todas as ocasiões

La atención y ubicación.

Nuestra estadía en Bariloche fué tan especial como la atención que recibimos de Luis y Paula en el Hotel Altuen, en verdad nos hicieron sentir mejor que en nuestra casa, se esmeraron siempre porque ningún detalle faltara y nos regalaron siempre una sonrisa. La habitación estuvo excelente, linda, límpia y muy cómoda, con una vista hermosa hacia el lago. El desayuno siempre caliente, delicioso y abundante todas las mañanas. Superó de lejos todas las expectativas que traíamos y además conseguimos dos excelentes amigos en Luis y Paula. Lo recomendamos para todo el que quiera viajar a Bariloche, solo o en grupo, es una experiencia que no se pueden perder!!!

Las habitaciones son muy confortables, la atencion excelente, los dueños, Luis y Paula, son muy cálidos y atentos a las necesidades del huesped, extremadamente limpio, el desayuno muy bueno, la vista de las habitaciones es hermosisima, muy cercano al centro pero lo suficientemente alejado como para estar muy cerca de todo lo necesario pero con mucha tranquilidad.
