Surrounded by lush garden and located 3 miles from the Iguaçu National Park, the 5-star Wish Resort Golf Convention Foz do Iguaçu provides easy access to Iguaçu Falls.
Score from 1253 reviews Wonderful
Friendly staffs and we were upgraded to the best river view suit.
Wifi is not stable and the enpanadas was soso.
The location is amazing overlooking the meet of the three countries, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. The pool is very nice and you should really try the couples massage at the spa.
Sadly, this 5-star hotel feels like it hasn't evolved since the 80's and although I really like Dirty Dancing, the retro-trip to this Kellerman's clone in Iguazú was more amusing than breathtaking. Everything is in 80's colors and the WIFI feels ancient as well...
Room was comfortable, particularly the bed
Shower leaked, staff were rude, pool was filthy, found cling film in our lunch which when presented to the staff they just shrugged and walked off.
Perfect location with beautiful view to Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina border from the roof top. (that's why we booked this hotel).Comfortable rooms and bed. We really liked breakfast. Helpful staff. we nearly had outdoors pool for ourselfs, which made our stay even better. I guess it wasn't a peak time.
Perhaps the corridor is slightly outdated.
View from the room
Room Service Menü not available in the room. Wifi unstable
The swimming pool and amenities. The restaurant was very good and the room had a great view
The fact that the staff had no problems with checking us out before time.
It was not in the National Park - meaning extremely expensive driving to and entering the Waterfall area. Slow internet. The feeling of being at a hotel that only catered for travel groups and families with children. Very small bar with small selection of wine and beers and expensive at that.
The hotel is old. Definitely not 5 star, maybe it used to be but not anymore.
great modern hotel with lovely pool area overlooking the river
We had a very comfortable room with fine breakfasts included. We also enjoyed the outdoor barbecue on the weekend.
This hotel is further from both the falls and the town than we had expected. Needed a taxi to go anywhere.
Beautiful, clean, delightful property. Restaurant is excellent.
The pool was almost too warm.
Very nice hotel! We loved relaxing by the pool area after a long day at the falls. Nice and clean. Friendly staf. We will definitely stay here if we come back to Iguazu.
Facilities - pool especially
The 5 star restaurant could not cook a well done steak. It came after 40 mins RARE, I sent it back and they returned with it cut in half 5 mins later and still rare.
Our river view room overlooked the confluence of the 2 rivers. Great views. The breakfast was very good with many local items on the buffet. Accommodation adequate but not 5 star by any means. Rather expensive, but I suppose one is paying for the location.
There is some confusion on hotel policies. Bottled Water from room service costs more than if you get water from housekeeping. No turn down sevice from Housekeeping, but a housekeeper hands over a chocolate at the door. Very strange! I found an empty bottle in my room fridge, that once contained water. When I informed Reception, nothing was done about it. No replacement for the item in the mini bar. Staff not very efficient in the restaurant - they forgot my dessert and I cancelled it in frustration. The Manager attempted to send the dessert to my room, but there wasn't much point as it was really very late by then.
probably the best hotel in the area with good food, very good staff and good pricing. Children friendly...
the building design doesn't work well enough but the big issue is that the hotel owner is the provincial governor - so you are supporting corruption and likely to get worker protests outside once a month
