Te location was the only good thing here.
It was way overprised, very dirty and a lousy breakfast for the money you pay. Nothing good to say about this place
Very good value and benefit! It has everything you need for a cheap and comfortable stay. The staff was very helpful and the hotel owner was very friendly! There has also a money exchange with great rates!
Manager spekas English
The same Manager makes promises he is not fulfilling.
The staff attitude, breakfast was a joke and overall the place not very pleasant - have seen better backpacker hostels.
Did not appreciate the 2 am phone call from the front desk calling with a problem that could've easily been fixed the next morning.
Great location and confortable.
I was not given a check-out time when I checked in. On the last morning I went for breakfast at 9:15am and returned to my room at 9:45 to find it being cleaned so I went for a walk. I returned at 10:30am to be met at the hotel entrance and was told that I had to leave my room immediately as the people sitting in reception (6 feet from our conversation) were waiting to get into the room. I then had to pack and leave straight away without having the opportunity to shower ahead of a day of travelling. I though this was very unprofessional and extremely rude and spoilt the good rapport that had been built up between myself and the owner during my stay.
The young male staff member on during the day-time was superb. The location was very central
For all baths to have a plug, otherwise its useless in booking a room with a bath. The bathrooms need to be done up a bit - silver tape around a window is not a good look. For the single beds to have a better base on them - they sink in the middle & its hard to sleep It needs to be advertised that this is a 3 floor walk-up. No elevator. The rooms need to have sound-proofing from the staircase & /hallways. I could hear everyone coming/going.
Nothing special about this place. I reserved a one-double bed room and got 3-twin-bed room. There were several beer bottle caps under the beds...from the previous quests. Breakfast is minimal.
Next to main street.
Very expencive like all hotels in Ushuaia. No aircond. in bathroom- all huminity stays in the bathtoom after shower causing that walls are coming down. Terrible smell everywhere in hotel.
Location is perfect. It takes only 1 minute to walk to the main street San Martin where you can find lots of restaurants. Supermarket is 2 blocks uphill. The waterfront is within 5 minutes' walk. Bus terminal is also reachable in 10 minutes on foot. The owner is nice and helpful. The room is clean with lots of hot water for shower. The hotel offers quiet and calm atmosphere that I had good sleep every night when I was there. The room rate is cheap comparable to a triple room with bunk beds in a hostel. We stayed there for 5 nights and I will definitely stay there if I visit Ushuaia again
Excellent location - one block away from my favourite restaurant La Estancia! Conveniently located near most banking facilities - rooms are clean enough and staff are helpful and friendly.
Close to centre of town; view from room of mountains and water
Less than average breakfast; room was clean but stair well etc was not; having 6 flights of stairs to climb (and no mention of this on the booking site); English of young lad that booked us in was limited; the owner or manager continually sniffed really loudly and you. Could hear him spitting out the back room - rather off putting at breakfast especially
Not as bad as the ratings sounded
The owner said i'd had a discount if I paid cash...this was not a discount just normal price of my booking, it's just a way of charging more for credit card payment. I don't like tax evasion
very good location
The location of the hotel was very good. Nearby supermarket and restaurants. Wifi was available in the room. The owner was nice and helpful.
Other than the owner nobody of the staff spoke english. Breakfast was coffee, tea, yoghurt, cornflakes, juice and pastry.
Good basic hotel.
The hotel staff were very friendly and all the facilities was as they promised.
Wi-Fi and breakfast were included. Good size room with a view and hanging places for clothes. Great location
Very uncomfortable old bed
Breakfast wasn't good.
4th floor with no elevator or staff help with luggage. could not have bath as shower wouldn't turn-off. Very poor breakfast. left after 1-nite of 4-day reservation but forced to pay for 2-nites
Manager was very helpful and responsive. Hotel was a little tired but clean and adequate. Location was very good. Would come again.
Hotel rate was probably comparable for place and season but in my mind a bit expensive for what it was. Also breakfast was typical basic local breakfast and had to be supplemented.
leaky taps etc....this hotel needs to be maintained better. no elevator for those with a room on the top floor
Good location between tourist port and museum. The room is very warm - for Antarctida is the most important! Sufficiently spacious room and large bathroom, though clean and comfortable enough.
The unusual mounting of the shower. But it works and the water is warm!
