The hotel was in a very quiet street but very central to all major tourist attractions. Very friendly hotel staff and the interior is very tastefully designed and very clean. My room was small but cosy . Can highly recommend it and would stay again.

A Hotel has a European feel about it. Having an art exhibition on the main floor is charming and soothing. The old world elevators are comforting and the high ceilinged rooms are elegant. The staff was unfailingly helpful - recommending restaurants, tours, directions, etc. There were travelers from all over the world, many languages heard in the breakfast room.

We stayed in the small and cozy room but with the high ceilings and french doors to the balcony, it certainly didn't feel small. It was a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was quite good. I loved the old character of the hotel and the location was wonderful for walking.

There was a gallery opening on the bottom floor the night of my arrival. A unique opportunity to rub elbows with Argentine artists, and enjoy complimentary red wine. Art is a great hotel that treats you like a star. My Small and Cozy room was tiny, but so well appointed I lacked for nothing. Highest recommendation.

Good location in Recoleta. Very convenient, comfortable, quiet, with accomodating staff. Bottled water in the room was exhorbitantly priced. That was somewhat of an affront. Easilly remedied by bringing your own.

It is very cosy, especially in the evenings when the lights are on and it is raining outside. My room was very small, it was a double but it was really for one person.

The breakfast was very good and the bed linen was also good. The location was very convenient. The staff weren't the friendliest we have come across and the cost of a bottle of mineral water was exorbitant.

Top of the line, unique, very well done renovation of an old building, all new inside, the crispest linen, cleanness, best breakfast in town, service, personal attention, multi-lingual quality staff, every detail is taken into account, lots of art on display (some for sale too) at museum level, location on a quiet street 1 1/2 blocks from buses, metro, shopping, restaurants and cafes, has free business center w/ fast internet and new computers, and I can go on and on! I reserved a "double room, small and cozy" It was huge, bright, and beautiful, tastefully designed, included extras such as safe and bar, a huge plasma tv, quality minimalistic furnishing (iron and wood) a full size tub and lots of artistic details such as reclaimed pine doors and floors, original art on walls, designer iron closet doors and sink table, 10' ceilings and 7' windows with 3 layers of curtains... Absolutely not! It shows as a 3 stars hotel, and I think it may be because it doesn't have a gym, but still it deserves to be stepped up in category.

A nice 'arty' hotel recalling another era, in a busy city, the Art Hotel provided a relaxing retreat, particularly on my first visit when I had a 4th floor room at the rear. [1st floor at the front less so.] It was pleasant to use the comfy sofas in the lounge whilst waiting for my flight. Staff were polite and helpful: Jabier mended my suitcase. Gershwin was nice over breakfast. On my return, my first floor room was close to the busy traffic,
