We book a small double room and when we arrived we were upgraded to a "queen" room which was bigger than expected. The room was clean, nice and we loved the building (a renovated old house). We really liked the old elevator that worked really well. Breakfast was nice. Location excellent!!!

A nice, small, stylish boutique hotel with a personality in a fancy part of Buenos Aires with a friendly, helpful staff. Some of the style decisions, such as the tiny washbasin were more stylish than practical.

Great Staff, very responsive to all types of inquiries- can arrange tours and tango, if desired. For walkers- great location 45 minutes to Centro, and San Martin, or the Opera House or Florida street, or Soho Polermo, and 10 plus minutes to the Recoleta cemetary ( easy bus and subway if needed). I would stay in centro (cordoba Ave or..) if only in BA for 1 to 2 days, but if 3 days to 3 weeks- recoleta is terrific and safe.- yes small room ( probably 10 X 12 plus the bathroom- is that small?) but still very pleasant because of the high ceilings. Found wifi excellent, but also access to free computer on main level in the lovely common area Lots of neat places to eat and walk in the area. TOP marks I couldnt stay around for another week!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location, close to Avenidas Santa Fé and Callao, metro station and in the heart of Recoleta was another good thing about the hotel. The breakfast was OK. The room we chose was really small! Due to a blackout, the air conditioning system stopped working for the rest of our stay (two more nights) and the front desk suggested us to keep the windows opened to ventilate the room. Ours was in the first floor facing the street and we were not able to sleep most of the remaining nights due to the traffic noise.

- The a Hotel is gorgeous! It has an art gallery which match exactly with Buenos Aires and its lovely Museums. - The location is very good. Only 5 minutes from the Subway / Santa Fe Avenue and 15 minutes from the beautiful Cemetery/Bellas Artes Museum, in the middle of the outstanding Recoleta and it's surrounded by great restaurants and caffes. - The staff is excellent. Everyone is attentive and obliging, for any doubt that you may have about the Hotel or the City. Other relevant details: - The breakfast. It was beyond our expectation. Not very vast, but for sure was enough to satiate our hunger with quantity and quality. - The Room. Its title (small and cozy) match perfectly with the reality. Very cozy and in fact small. But for a young couple with the intention of knowing the max possible of Buenos Aires, the room was perfect for us. Not a problem at all, but I think it's useful to mention 2 things about the shower: - The height. For a 1,85m guy, the height of the shower could be a problem for taller people. - The "infiltration". In a very small space between the bath glass' door and the floor, if you aren't a bit careful, it'll wet the bathroom's carpet.

Nicely furnished and designed with a welcoming staff - even a double room while not big is certainly acommodating enough for a short stay. Breakfast was OK. Some staff has a bit of attitude, not a big deal really

Good location on reasonably small street in safe area. Good breakfast though the breakfast area is small and congested if several people eat at the same time. The hotel tries to make a virtue of its age, but I wasn´t persuaded.

From the start, the staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating, especially Lucas and Javier. The entrance to the hotel was beautiful with the art gallery and high ceilings. The room was comfortable and stylish with a great shower. All of the staff were helpful and friendly whenever we asked, and were happy to support us to arrange things for our visit. The breakfast had the best range of food of all the places we stayed. There was nothing that we did not like.

Centrally located on a quite side street off Santa Fe in the Recoleta neighbourhood. It is very reasonably priced boutique hotel with an art gallery on the first level. The staff are extremely helpful, thoughtful, and attentive. They serve a nice breakfast, as well.

A Hotel was a great hotel and I would recommend it to anyone! There was always someone at the front desk who spoke English and the staff was just amazing--always there to help you. The rooms were just want you need and the location was great! Every other hotel we stayed at during the rest of our travels in Argentina and Brazil was compared to the A Hotel. The only issue we had was that the wifi was a bit slow--otherwise it was a perfect stay!

Great small hotel, very personal, many lovely details, very dedicated, intelligent, helpful staff. Nice breakfast (coffee being the one exception - see below). Small but nice and clean bath. After having read a lot about Buenos Aires hotel rooms being very small, I was very relieved to see that I had a small desk and enough space at either side of the bed. And the room's vertical dimension exceeded each of its horizontal ones - presumably very helpful in summer. I had a room with window towards the light well, which meant not having a view (but BA's steets are not much wider than this well) but sleeping quietly what was highly estimated. The one exception: the coffee at the breakfast. I very much would recommend investing in a good espresso-machine. But the assortment of teas they have gave a reliable alternative. (Another idea would be to install the shower high enough to be able to fully open the shower door - for me, that was only a funny detail, for others it might a real threat to getting into the cabin.)

The staff are very nice and the room is cozy. The location is great. The breakfast is a little weak. Daily cleaning in the room is not very good. We noticed that the bedroom floor was not swept every day and towels were not replaced when necessary.
