Die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist vibrant und die Lage ist gut für Städtereisende. Der Service sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Gesamtkonzept ist interessant und ein Besuch lohnt sich. Von grosser Lautstärke habe ich nichts wahrgenommen, da ich von Montag bis Donnerstag dort war. Das Zimmer war zu klein, denn die Koffer waren nicht zu verstauen. Außerdem standen vor dem Kleiderschrank Stühle und Tisch, die aufgrund der Enge auch nirgendwo anders hinzustellen waren. Ebenfalls eine Garderobe fehlte und so war das verstauen von Schuhe und Jacke immer mit dem wegstellen der Stühle verbunden. Irgendwie waren die Design Ideen interessant, aber mit definitiven Schwächen in der Praxis für die Gäste. |

Design Hotel mit einer schönen Garten- und Poolanlage. Gute Ideen in der Zimmergestaltung. Der Service im Hotel war mittelmässig. Obwohl es sich um ein neues Hotel handelt, besteht bereits Erneuerungsbedarf oder Einrichtungen waren defekt (z.B. Whirlpool, Saunatüre). Ebenfalls fehlte auf den Zimmer iPod Stations wie im Hotel angepriesen. Für ein Hotel in dieser Preislage war das Morgenbuffet sehr einfach und der Service sehr langsam. Dazu kamen dreckige Tischtücher und es gab am Nachmittag keinen Roomservice, da der Koch scheinbar nicht zur Arbeit erschienen ist. Über alles gesehen, kann man dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. |

Das Design des Hotels und die entspannte Stimmung. Allerdings sind Duschen aus Glas wohl nicht jedermanns oder jederfraus Sache. Ich fands aber toll Straßenlärm, wenn man zur Strasse hin wohnt. Am Wochenende war auch ein DJ in der Bar am Werke bis 2:00 Uhr früh. Ich mag sowas nicht in einem Hotel. Wozu hat man denn Clubs, die das besser können? Aber wem das nichts ausmacht, dann ganz toll. |

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal; heterofriendly war das Hotel auf jeden Fall; etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig waren die gläsernen Duschen; weniger für hetero Paare empfehlenswert, aber für Freunde durchaus ein gutes Hotel (wir waren 2 befreundete Mädels - hetero) |

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, eine familiäre Atmosphäre macht den Urlaub sehr angenehm. Die Zimmer sind relativ klein. Es ist nicht wirklich leise, auch zum Garten, wg. der Klimaanlage. Der Fitnessraum ist in den Wellnessbereich integriert, weshalb es ziemlich warm ist. |

Das beste Frühstück von insgesamt 10 anderen besuchten Hotels in Argentinien. Spa Bereich auch Nachts geöffnet. Ambiente/Poolbereich indoor sowie outdoor. Bei dem booking Preis - bestes Preisleistungverhältnis. Gute Lage. Der angegeben Parkplatz im booking-Portal sowie in der heoteleigenen Informatinosbroschüre gibt es angeblich nicht und konnte nicht zur Verfügung gestellt werden. |

Bed very comfortable and quality sheeting. Excellent bathroom and shower. Excellent design, textures... Location not great compared with areas like Recoleta. Really bad street noise even though windows double glazed. Also the bar was thumping away til 2am. Not the place to stay if you are used to quieter places. |

The place is efficiently run, clean, stylish, with friendly and sincere staff who will help you with anything. Free city maps, adaptors there for you so you don't have to go searching for them in shops, relaxed atmosphere, international guests. This is the perfect hotel for people who do not like staying at anonymous big box chain hotels with robots with fake smiles for staff or chintzy fussy bed and breakfasts. Only thing is you will need to take taxis to most places (which is probably true of most hotels anyway) but they are so cheap, who cares. Very nice pool and spa area which is a decent size with an outdoor terrace, clean and warm (unlike in some hotels where the pool areas are not kept entirely clean). |

Location for sightseeing & restaurants is very good. While it is in an "up and coming" area, the neighborhood still has a gritty feel. The design of the hotel is ultra modern & unique. Most of the staff was very helpful & friendly. |

Great design and a nice option for BA. Good to have a gay hotel in BA. Rooms a bit small, but well designed. Also, not many dining options nearby, so it'd be nice to have lunch served at the restaurant on Saturday. |

I liked my stay at the Axel Hotel in Buenos Aires due to the fact that the hotel was gay friendly and for my first time there it was close to all of the activities I did while staying in BA. We did a lot of walking in the city and the hotel was in a good location for the city walking that we did. I like the fact that the hotel did have wireless internet that was free, and free breakfast from the hours of 7am to 10am. I did not like the bathroom setup with the shower/tub in the middle of the room and I did not like the fact that loud music was played on one of the nights to very late in the morning. The restaurant was non existent, I thought there was going to be a full restaurant that we could walk down and have dinner. If the restaurant was a fully functioning restaurant we might have ate there, instead we went out for dinner every night of our stay. |

great helpful staff, swimming pool on the roof with great steam and dry saunas and jacuzzi. rooms are small and furniture are more design than useful. There is actually no bathroom just washing sink with no place for personal belongings like cosmetics. |

Great location, staff was helpful and very nice, overall hotel was very esthetically pleasing, great (up and coming neighborhood), centrally located, greatly appreciated that internet was included in the price of the room, good compromise on late check-out...pay 1/2 price of room for 1/2 day I stayed at the Barcelona Axel and very much liked the "free" bottled water which this hotel did not offer. Bar was very expensive versus local area. Walls were not sound proof- I would expect much more noise during high season |

The staff were very pleasant and did their best. The hotel design is interesting. The San Telmo neighbourhood is fascinating. This hotel is badly run. Firstly it was baking hot with heat pumping day and night into the common areas and bedrooms. Like Soviet era hotels customers can't control their own room temperatures. We'd to have our windows open even when it was raining.....Another problem we encountered was that the management decided to close off the common areas for two days for a photo shoot without warning or compensation. There was no bar, no seating area, and nowhere to meet friends except our small hot room. .....Finally it's worth mentioning that the hotel has placed its showers in glass boxes in the middle of each bed room. Great for exhibitionist lovers. Not so good if you're there with granny.... |
