The staff were very helpful and polite and the location was perfect
Internet kept getting disconnected
Location was excellent for checking out recoleta area, and close to aep airport
Not much, unfortunately. I'm shocked this has such a high rating on here. Recoleta is a nice neighborhood, but this is on a noisy street right near the cemetery (which is nice for convenience) but it means that all the restaurants in the immediate area are overpriced, overrated tourist trap type restaurants. Staff was very helpful, however all of the 4-5 young men we dealt with had the exact same demeanor: no emotion whatsoever. Very polite but it was strange - like talking to a brick wall.
The hotel is in desperate need of a remodel! - Pool was being worked on during our 6-night stay, so we never got to use it - Everything seemed broken - had to call downstairs to fix our safe because it wouldn't work properly, two of the lights (kitchen and bathroom) were out and blinking like strobe lights, overhead lights in kitchen just flat out didn't turn on, curtains didn't close all the way so the light came in at sunrise, toilet seat wasn't secure so that every time i sat down, i felt like i was going to fall in, trashcan was broken...i think that may be it. The breakfast is absolutely horrible. They don't have a kitchen so it's delivered on a tray to your room each morning. There is a sign in the kitchen that says to please place the tray outside by noon each day - no problem. But every morning around 10:30am, the breakfast girls would knock on our door (unless we put out the 'privacy please' sign) and ask for the tray. One of these times I was brushing my teeth so I didn't hear it (because the bathroom fan that automatically turns on when the light turns on is so loud) and she just came in the room while I was in there obviously making noise! Another time my husband and I were both getting dressed and in no shape to answer the door to give her the tray. Just wait until noon like the signs says!! Lastly, the windows are not sound proof whatsoever. I requested a quiet room and was put on the 8th floor facing the street, assured it was quiet. After arriving late on a Saturday night, I was awakened at 6:30am by men singing on the street. After an hour, I finally went downstairs to ask what the hell was going on and the front desk man laughed and said the club next door just closed and it would be quiet soon. I requested to switch rooms to be in the back of the hotel, and while the noise was better, I could still plainly hear street noise (from the 9th floor) and had to use earplugs every night.
I spent in the hotel 9 nights. Everything was perfect. The room looked like exactly as on the website: modern, clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked excellent. The stuff is very friendly, they speak English very well. An additional "secret" hint: For lunch or dinner I recomend to visit the small restaurant En Rincon, vis à vis the hotel. From outside it doesn't look very stylish but the kitchen is much more better than in the other restaurants in the vicinity. En Rincon is being frequented mostly by Portenos. They know why it is to prefer.
It's in perfect location if you wanna stay in Recoleta. We left our luggage for 3 weeks without any additional fees. Bed was big and comfortable.
kitchen could be better equipped
Located in Recoleta, an affluent safe neighborhood of BA. Rooms were simple and well kept. Kitchen was nice to have and breakfast was served in kitchen each morning. Good location next to cemetery and close to restaurants. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.
It was far from the subte (subway). Otherwise not many bad things to say abut this place. It was very accommodating, clean, and good value! Would definitely stay here again.
great location, reasonable price, comfortable room, friendly staff. Could see into the Recoleta cemetery from the window, so a nice view. Close to bars and restaurants but quiet. Air con worked great and was quiet.
Bathroom could be better and particularly the toilet paper, soap, etc. Located far from the metro, but this is made up for by the buses and relatively cheap taxis.
Next to the Recoleta cemetery & Recoleta mall. Money exchange in the next parallel street. Mini-markets very close by. Julian and the other 2 male staff were excellent. Good advice and helped with taxis- went beyond their duty- very helpful. Interesting breakfast option- brought to the door in the morning.
location. location. very comfertable room.. nice team. own kitchen !! great cafes and restaurants close by. location again!!!
doo't stay in the rooms approching the street !! a lot of noise at night because of restaurants and pubs down. a bit poor continental breakfast. not facilities in hotel.
Location, wonderful staff, great rooms.
No restaurant or gym.
No coffee in the lobby, no any restaurant service
great location...super friendly staff. Second time for me there...I will stay there again next time I go to Buenos Aires!!!!v
Thats why I use your service all the time ,thanks.
The hotel studio apartment was great. The staff were wonderful at helping answer a lot of our questions. We could not have picked a better location.
Perfect and safe location in la recoleta neighborhood near all touristic spots of the city, beautiful appartement with all needed facilities, swimming pool in back yard
Very poor internet connection
Location is good, convenient to a mall with movie theatres. A nice upper middle class neighbourhood with grocery stores, restaurants and lots of taxis. Overall room size is good. Young staff is pretty attentive for Buenos Aires generally low standards.
WiFi is terrible. Bathroom is very small. Swimming pool is much smaller than appears in the photos. Be aware of 21% Argentine tax to be added to your daily rate. It makes a big difference!
Found the room neat and a good size but needed an upgrade. Bathroom had no ventilation. Parts of cabinets we re held on w sticky tape and pool was dirty. Easy walking distance from sites and food but we still found we travelled quite a bit in taxis in peak hr through the city to get to all the other sights ie. San telmo la boca theatre. Traffic is mad. 7 lanes bumper to bumper most hrs or the day.
