The first impression of the hotel was great. It is very nicely decorated and appeared quite clean.
Our room wasn't serviced the first day and when it was it wasn't done very well. Requests to reception were ignored. They were generally not very helpful. No towel rails in the bathroom made it awkward to hang up wet towels.
Qualitative breakfast with sufficient options (e.g. poached eggs, pancakes) Nice design of the hotel and rooms. Lots of space in the room.
Minor finishing touch of the rooms (silicone in the shower, connection of the bidet,...) Ask for a room on the non-streetside, otherwise you are provided with all the loud streetnoises...
We needed a place to wind down and this was nice and quiet just what we needed for five days of r&r
Bad is large and comfortable
Limites breakfast option
- Staff was friendly. - Good location, but not that safe. - Almost no street noise.
- AC is central and HOT! You can't control the room temperature. - Poor WiFi. - Pool is ~0.5 m deep! - Shower box without door, the restroom floor gets wet. - Doors hinges needs oil. - Artificial juice on breakfast
The size of the room! Hot water and microwave in the restaurant which we can use. Staff are friendly, can speak English and recommended nice restaurants.
The surrounding area is not that safe. Swimming pool is a bit too small and not deep enough for adults.
Location is fair. Hotel is new/renovated. rooms are big.
Their "king size" bed is just 2 doubles pushed together. The WiFi router is in the hall, so don't expect much reception inside the room. You can't control the A/C from your room. you must call reception and ask them to turn it on/off. Bring your own towels, as the hotel's probably won't be replaced. Used towels from the floor were placed back on the hanger for us to re-use. and the most important thing - DON'T ASK THE RECEPTION FOR ANYTHING!!! They gave us bad information time after time ! Causing us waste valuable time and money!
It is very well located, the pool in the rooftop is beautiful but dirty. The bed is very big and confortable
-The receptionists were very unfriendly, even the manager was extremely rude when we told her the wifi wasn´t working..She didn´t want to talk to us directly. - Breakfast is very poor and the breakfast room smells like oil and after breakfast all your clothes smell like fried chicken. - The room was literally dirty. The towels had brown stains! it looks like they bought them used. - It is sold as modern but they haven´t painted the room in years. - There is no "do not disturb" sign, so the cleaning lady just enter in my room and I was sitting on the toilet. Awkward.
The location is on a quiet street in San Telmo, but close to Puerto Madero and not so far from the tourist center of the city. Employees are solicitous, though some do not speak English properly. If necessary, employees indicate good attractions, shops and restaurants. The rooms are large, spacious and well maintained.
The air conditioning is central, then have to call the front desk to change the room temperature.
Spacious rooms. Location near bus and subte stations. Good breakfast. Helpful receptionists.
There was no extra toilet paper in our room and we had to ask for it when toilet paper run out.
Very poor staff service, 2 times taxi service ordered at the desk, 2 times problems. Better book yourself taxi to make sure you have transportation and it will cost you half price!
super big room clean, modern and chic
personal not motivated terrible breakfast slow internet
Good price-quality, clean, beautiful & spacious rooms, great shower, helpful staff
Breakfast quality is not in line with the rest of the offering (eggs are cold because of no "bain marie", no meat), but is still ok...
wifi is good location is fair, but dangerous super market is near by kitchenir is offered
breakfast is very poor...only with fried egg (everything is cold, ), bread, mix fruits. no ham, cheese, juicy taste awful....
The staff were very friendly and helpful...thank you, rodrigo, jorge, and pablo! The room was excellent! Breakfast was great! The location was just where I wanted to be. I highly recommend it! The next time I visit Buenos Aires I know where to stay.
Location was great. Staff helpful and friendly
Room never swept or carpet vacumed in 7 days. Dishes in sink never washed.
location was great, close to main cento and san telmo a hop away! the actual Mexico street it was located on wasn't any great shakes! staff very helpful and friendly. room very clean on arrival, didn't have breakfast so cant comment. wifi was a bit hit and miss. definitely recommend it. good value for money
room size was wonderful--it was great to have such an open space in san telmo to relax after long walks and wake up to in the morning... bed was great staff was pleasant and professional quiet place without the street noise of many places in san telmo.
wifi never worked in 3 days and nights kitchenette needed a microwave in the slot in the closet where the outlet was above the tiny fridge that was really half fridge and half dry goods storage bin...the tiny fridge was crammed full of junk that made it hard to put anything of your own in it...plus, it did not really get cold.. kitchen needed have a bit more attention to detail...it could make the room so much more enjoyable..

an issue with the toilet last day
Spent a weekend there as a couple. Loved the big (huge) size of the room and the bed, the quality of the sleep-ware (bed, linens, comforter, mattress, pillows), and of the room furnishing in general. The room (307) was also very quiet (except when there were people talking in the hallway, but this wasn't a problem in our case), which is great for Buenos Aires. The room was clean. Reception and breakfast staff were kind. Also the two receptionists were very resourceful and helpful answering our questions during our staying, taking care of our bags, etc. Location, aside from the fact that the street itself isn't the best ever, is quite good for this city if you want to see the touristy places in San Telmo and around the Presidential House (Casa Rosada), also not so far from downtown and easy to reach by bus/cab from Retiro bus station, and by cab from the harbors.
5 negative aspects: rude e-mail response before arrival, sauna temperatures in the room, a bit unsafe street, poor wifi in the room, some breakfast issues. 1) the week before we e-mailed the hotel to request early check in (should the room be ready upon arrival). This is often complimentary or inexpensive. A staff person named Camila replied first not acknowledging it was a booking.com reservation (and therefore asking arrival+departure dates to give us a quote). Once we re-stated it was booked already, she rudely replied early check in required paying for an additional night's stay (!) She did still give us the option to leave the bags in the reception until check in (quoting the wrong check in time), so it was ok in the end, but a bad first impression. 2) There's heating that can be controlled from the reception, not from the room, but you call them and they adjust it for you. Our room was a sauna when we arrived. Upon request, the receptionist turned off the heating for us (though it was randomly back on at times for a little while). It was still fine if you didn't move much and kept just summer clothes on while inside. Nevertheless, every night after 3hs of sleep I was awaken by the heat and extra thirsty, forced to open the balcony door to cool the room down a bit. This was during July, the winter-most month in Buenos Aires. 3) Mexico street is said to be dangerous at night, same for the perpendicular Peru street (3 blocks away). We were advised by the owner of a nearby coffee place to take corner street Piedras down to Chile and use that street to get to Defensa (main street of San Telmo). This is great advise, as both Chile and Defensa have several restaurants and bars open at night and are well lit. We didn't see anything bad in Mexico street though, but followed the advise.
Amazing staff. Good breakfast servet until 10. Delicious 'medialunas' bread.
It is a little bit away from the center of the city.
I really enjoyed everything in this Hotel. The room was so good and comfortable and the breakfast was great. A place to stay and have a nice trip.
I don't have negative points to describe.
Staff were excellent
WiFi was highly problematic
Very comfortable beds, Very yummy breakfast Staff very friendly
Room has not been done nicely twice Few things were broken already in the room and nothing has been done to fix them while we were out of the room Air conditioning (heating sys) was out of control, had to shut it down .
Overall we had a fantastic stay, the hotel was really nice, very friendly helpful staff, large comfortable clean room, quite too. Excellent value. Definitely stay again!
The room had a kitchenette but we didn't have a cooker / microwave so we couldn't really cook. A kettle was provided on request. Also, could have done with somewhere better to hang the towels - we just had a small hook. Minor overall - everything else was great!
