the location, it is so close to incredible bars/restaurants/shops Airconditioning- it was so hot during our stay so it was great to be able to cool down! Breakfast was good!
you were not able to enter or exit the door without assistance which was a little strange. the carpeting and overall decor felt very outdated
We immediately felt really welcome by Carla and her team. Well kept place and great location, smack in the middle of Palermo. We got a lot of help on where to go and what to see (and that tango experience) to make our stay in BA that special one.
Carla, Amanda, Adriana, Jamina and all the staff were extremely helpful with booking events and suggestions for travel in and outside the city. Will definitely stay again.
Carla was so helpful and a joy to stay with
Location close to Palermo.
Our room was on the street side (can't say if there are some better), but it was simply impossible to sleep due to people walking and talking in the street all night long. On top our arrival was really a mess : no sign of the guest house, ringing at the door nobody really aware it was here . Had to call booking.com to have this sorted out. To complete our bath room had a serious leak. And all this for a price not that small.
Breakfast was nice with fresh fruits, juice, coffee, toast and medialunes, yoghurt. location was very near restaurants and bars. Interiour was very nice. Host was very welcoming.
Price was excl VAT, this was shown in description but easily overlooked and not taken into account when searching on booking.com
Kind staff, comfortable room and good breakfast.
Very accommodating host! Assisted me with directions, money exchange, taxi..much appreciated.
Room could use a refresh...
- very friendly and helpful staff, especially the owner of the hotel - good breakfast - very nice rooms, very cozy - location was perfect
- the bed was not the most comfortable
The location and feel of this home is very nice, especially with the personal attention given by the lovely owner. I wanted a place that would be representative of Buenos Aires, and this one fit the bill nicely. Really enjoyed the detail of fresh-squeezed orange juice for breakfast.
The edges of the rooms (e.g. baseboards, carpeting) and stairwells are not quite the same as the photos - the rooms have become a bit tired - but I am sure that this is easily remedied.
I like the architectural design and framework of Baires Soho Hotel. It reflects European-Spanish-Italian-U.S. Continental architecture. I like the hotel and the place --> simple, quiet, beautiful surroundings, nice and helpful staff and people particularly Carla, Adriana, Noriel, Sabrina, Nestor.
Sometimes, it's noisy outside the hotel especially from midnight to 3am. But generally, the hotel is very good and excellent.
- Location is fantastic: 2 mins from all the great shops, cafes and nightlife in Palermo (Soho) - Nice old house with well kept outside and common area - Rooms fairly large and overall neat, with en-suite bathroom - Staff friendly
- Dated bathrooms ... my toilet broke during my visit and it took 1-2 days to fix - Couple of things around the rooms/house dated - Owner never showed up, so this is not the 100% bed and breakfast experience one usually expects - Staff had good knowledge of surrounding area but not great
The common rooms are very beautiful. Friendly staff.
A bit expensive.
Carla, the owner, and the rest of the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The treat you as a friend rather than a patron (providing you information about anything you ask) Breakfast is delicious, location is just great. If I had to come back to Bs As, I wouldn't doubt it, Bs As Soho is the place!
Carla, the proprietor was incredibly friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to assure that our stay was wonderful. We'll definitely stay here again. Safe, secure, and accommodating. The perfect Palermo location, too!
- great and friendly host always ready to help us and provide info. (Thank you Carla!) -location was fantastic - just in the right place (close to restaurants and bars in Palermo Soho) and about 5 mins to nearest metro stop. -felt safe - Value for money! -Very clean! -Nice breakfast!
If I had to say something.... I'd say the showers weren't so good - they need a bit more more power.
Staff very welcoming and helpful Common areas very nice with a small garden Great breakfast
Beautiful place in the heart of a trendy neighborhood. The owners are really friendly.
It is a B&B but it cost like an hotel.
Good location for people watching, bars, restaurants etc
My room was over looked the street which = a great deal of noise both from people and traffic, late into the night and starting again very early in the morning. Also not having a key to just come and go as I pleased was annoying.
the staff was great they would bend over backwards to help with anything te street is quiet yet 1 block and you are in the middle of Palermno Soho
The owner was helpful when she was there, and spoke English, which was a huge help. The common areas are very well designed.
The wi-fi came and went. The housekeeper who was there the majority of the time rather than the owner was sweet, but she did not speak English and had no capacity to communicate even when using google translate. There was no hot water except in the morning. It was turned off at noon. There was a power outage (though the place next door still had electricity, as well as a restaurant less than a block down), and so I had no lights and no air conditioning or fan (it was 33 degrees that day!).
Carla is wonderful, location is very nice, metro station is 10 minutes walk, hotel is near bar and restaurant in palermo
People were so nice, gentle, warm place, the location is excellent, close to historic places as well as parks, restaurant and lots of interesting things to do
Charming hostess Carla and her staff were very helpful to suggest places to visit. It is a site of peaceful tranquility in the lively part of Palermo with a nice inner square. Nice room with airco.
The bathrooms can use some renovation.
