Location Rooms are old and need urgent refurbishment, breakfast is poor (no hot meals like eggs, bacon etc..), windows are simple so are walls and doors (quite noisy in the rooms),will not return to this hotel since there are much better quality options for the price range

Good location Room very small; needs urgent refurbishment. What they named a "large double" bed is actually a 1.2m width bed, there hardly sleep two person. Inconfortable. Old towels that smell bed.

Well located next to the famous Obelisk so always easy to find. Good sized room and very helpful staff. Very noisy location overlooking main ba road with 24 hour heavy traffic. Difficult to sleep with window open as I prefer fresh air to air conditioning

Very good location. Good value for money. Staff were polite and helpfull. Internet (Wi-Fi) efective. Breakfast was good. I stayed in the hotel for a few days, I had traveled to some other destination for a couple of nights while leaving most of my luggage in the hotel, then I returned for some more days and i found everything well kept as anyone should expect.

The hotel is well located, near Florida street, with a big room, but not so comfortable. Breakfast was poor, but the hotel staff was very polite and helpful. What was strange is that in the reception they were in doubt about the princesa of our reservation.

The hotel is very conveniently situated and there are many buses or subte that you can take anywhere for very cheap. Very good breakfast with big selection although the selection never changed for the 5 days that we were there. I would not consider it a 4 star hotel. The rooms are very old and tired. We were a family of 5 adults and were spread out with our three rooms on 2nd floor, 4th and 8th floors. The reception messed up with booking our 2 taxis to take us to the airport at peak traffic and only one arrived. When we asked them to check about the 2nd taxi they were unhelpful and we had to wait more than an hour for the next taxi - in the end we had to hail one off the street with great difficulty which caused us to nearly miss our flight.

I liked the location, the spaciousness of the room, and the fine appointments (fixtures, decor, lcd tv) of the room. The king-sized bed was a bit hard and was made from pulling two twin- sized beds together. The sheets were too small to cover the whole bed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was always at least one on duty in reception who could help us in English. The rooms were comfortable and airconditioned which is necessary at his time of the year.

The location of the hotel is one block from the Obeilisk located on 9 de Julio - very safe and in close walking proxmixity to city spots and restaurants. 4 blocks from the City bus tour and the Florida street mall. The bell boys were very attentive and demonstrated how to put on lights, use the security box etc. All staff were very polite and helpful. We also did a late check out for half the day rate. Good if you want to visit the city. Luckily my booking had free internet - if not they charge. I booked a superior double room with no smoking but we were first given a standard room. When we enquired, they realized that they made an error. We had to come back at 3 pm for another room to become available. Luckily we didn't have to wait. When we got the room, it was a smoking room - wasn't bad but wasn't what we booked. No iron in the hotel to borrow to press my clothes! Luckily this was not for business! My booking included free internet otherwise they charge $arg 15. The rooms are not sound proof as in another hotel where we stayed previously. You can hear folks talking in their rooms nearby and in the corridor. If that's a problem don't stay here.

Good location and kind staff; too bad that the hotel looks good on the outside, but is a nightmare on the inside; Rooms outdated, totally inconforable bed, room very small (the room we stayed was very small and the bed narrow, I think it was designed as a single room, but used for 2 persons- almost impossible for 2 persons to sleep in that bed; breakfast terrible

Great location within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants etc. The staff were very helpful about using buses, trains etc. Good to have WiFi even though hard to access in rooms but good access in lobby. Only possible complaint was the traffic noise if the windows weren't properly closed. However this was more than offset by the fabulous views along the main street.

Location was very central. Had a room that looked onto the Obelisk but I dud not get a lot of traffic noise because of the sound proof windows. The hotel was comfortable and the reception staff were very helpful and courteous. I could hear people talking in the next room but this tended to be for short periods of time and did not hinder me sleeping or watching tv.

Acoustic insulation of the window. Although the apartment was a Double Superior, the TV was a tube type one. The breakfast is poor and always the same, elevators are old and noisy, and the floor is poorly maintained, with rotten parts. But the worst side is that the reception staff is impolite and does not accept improvement criticism.

The location is fantastic, staff very very kind and efficient. The heating was a bit too high. I tried to control the intensity of it but i could not succeed. The rooms were quite clean, but the quality of towels and tissue paper were quite poor. I think that a hotel of this level deserved better quality materials. - The quality of toallet paper and towels was very poor. I found it difficult to adjust the heater and so I felt very hot when the temperature outside was quite low.

Situated in an excellent location to see the sights of the city Very disappointed that the Hotel did not charge me in US $$ in which I was quoted. They charged me in the local curreny and ended up charging me more than was quoted.

“The hotel is downtown, yet central to everything. Basic and simple, good value for money. The area whilst a little run down, is safe and as a female solo traveller I felt completely safe. There is a great restaurant next door and a great little plaza with little coffee shops and cocktail places next door. Recoleta is about a 45 min walk. What makes this place is the amazing staff. English speaking (which I found actually rarer than I thought in Buenos Aires). The guys at the front desk could not be more helpful with luggage, directions, advice, tours etc .. I would stay again but only because the staff are so fabulous.” Charlotte, Bournemouth |
