No hot food for breakfast

As is typical in Argentina, there was a series of malfunctions. The following didn't work at some point during my stay: Wi-Fi, telephone, bidet, card key. The original room they gave me was unbearably noisy, mainly due to the fact that it was located directly above the motor for the automatic entrance door for the hotel. They gave me another room the second day. Several conveniences one takes for granted were not provided: closet, place for dirty clothes, extra chair for a guest, coffee maker, free local calls. All electrical outlets were Argentinian, meaning you could not plug in non-Argentinian devices without adapters.

Nice part of town, very helpful staff, great breakfast, large room on Plaza side, great bed, jacuzzi, creative design of buliding, free wifi.

Floor in room could have been cleaner. No carpets in room. Internet intermittent, but fixable by staff.

The hotel is located on the Retiro edge of Recoleta facing parkland and within walking distance of the Recoleta cemetery, good restaurants and transportation networks including Callao metro station. The contemporary design of the hotel is very appealing. Rooms have painted concrete floors, floor to ceiling mirrors and windows, good beds and options for lights, microwave, bar fridge, good flat screen TV with access to FOX, a jaccuzzi and hairdryer in a bathroom with modern fittings, and good airconditioning to cater for summer temperatures. A window panel also opens, although this introduces considerable street noise. The widow has an automatic blind for night and sheer curtaining for day. Daily housekeeping is good. The accommodation appears intended for travellers who will spend the day out and eat out. Breakfast is available at any time throughout the morning; and although the offerings provide minimal self service choice, the ambience of the modern lounge style surroundings and waiter service, as required, provide quite an elegant start to the day.

While hotel staff are polite and supply willingly to needs, rooms lack basic equipment that is portable, or removable, such as bottle opener, cups and power adaptors. Any additional bedding or other needs must be requested. Cleanliness is adequate, noting that the painted concrete floor is probably not mopped daily and requires footwear to be worn. Nevertheless, comfort is good and the room appearance is stylish.

We liked this hotel somuch we returned here after touring Argentina. We cancelld our other hotel because we knew how helpful the desk people were and how e loved the view and room. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping and subte.

The staff was incredibly helpful during our stay in booking reservations, giving suggestions, helping us deal with Areolineas Argentinas(which went nuts during our stay) and generally making it easier for us to tour to the right places at the right times. They were really unbelievable. And they were there 24 hours a day. The breakfast staff was also very helpful and friendly. All spoke great English. We would have been lost without their insider advice. Breakfasts were good with lots of fruit and juice. Room was great with lots of white and grey and mirrors, and blooming star gazer lilies in each room. The mirrors reflected the outside views which were fabulous. Our room on the 9th floor overlooked the park and the jacarandas were in full bloom. What a spectacle looking from our room with floor to ceiling windows! Location was great with a few blocks to the subte and many sights within walking distance. And all the shopping on Santa Fe. We liked the hotel so much we stayed there again upon a short return to Buenos Aires before our international flight.

O café da manhã, para o padrão argentino, é muito bom e apesar de todo dia ser sempre a mesma coisa, me satisfez. A cama de casal é muito confortável, assim como o quarto, apesar de simples.

A geladeira do frigobar poderia ser um pouco maior e um dia tive problemas com o ar condicionado (não mudava para a opção "frio", apenas "ventilação" e "quente"), mas nada que prejudique a estadia.

Foi uma bela surpresa. Não conheciamos ninguem que estivera no hotel e comprar pela internet as vezes as fotos são muito antigas, mas não neste caso, foi otimo, um ambiente moderno e com o pessoal do hotel muito simpatico, recebemos boas dicas de pesseios e compras, qdo. Voltavamos para o hotel tinha um belo banho na Jacuzzi, e uma bela cama king-size nos esperando. A Paula é carioca, além de simpatica, o que ajuda muito nas traduções. Nossa diaria acabou ao meio dia do Domingo, e eles ficaram com nossas malas até a noite, foram muito gentis. Não houve cobranças de taxas, nem acrescimos. Eu recomendo.
