Superb and most helpful staff available at all hours!!
no early check-in.
Booked as stated had roof top pool but when we got there it was closed for repair, however this fact was not mentioned on their website or that of booking.com would not have booked it if I had known. On arrival the concierge watched us carry our bags from the car into reception no offer of help received. Nespresso machine in room not free have to pay per capsule! No milk provided if you ask told not available. One bottle of water allowed per day, this was never replaced. Dirty glasses from first night still in room three days later. At breakfast service very slow took 20 mins to get one coffee, gave up on a second. Overall I thought the standard was very poor and the 5star element was definitely not on show, think carefully before you boon this hotel, very disappointing
Staff, especially Ana who helped us book Tango show with transport which was exceptional
Nothing not to like, clean and friendly ,good English spoken.
Decor, staff, cleanliness & comfort
Pool out of action, doors banging next to room one of the mornings think there was maintainance going on in next room
Rooms are cute but too small.
The staff was professional and attentive and the room was comfortable and well appointed. A generous buffet breakfast was included in the room rate. The area in which the hotel is located is lovely - mostly residential, but has banks, excellent cafes, and other travel services nearby.
My only comment is that the hotel is not on a subway line, so taxis or walking were the primary transportation options available. But that's a minor point.
-The staff in general was very kind and personal -Very good wifi connection also in the room -Location is really convenient, in a nice area of Buenos Aires and central to other areas
-Rooms can be noisy -Spa is not impressive
Relaxed ambience Great bed and bathroom
Pool and outdoor area not available
Location, quality of fixtures and fittings, great staff. The room was very comfortable.
Great breakfast, accommodation and staff. Definitely will come back.
Friendly and helpful staff. Located in a nice area of BA. Room is of modern style
Location and rooms were excelent
Terrible wifi in rooms. Ok at the lobby
Location is great, 5 min to recoleta mall and the cemitery. Staff always kind and helpfull. Hotel is clean with modern design, comfortable room with black out courtains.
Breakfast is very poor, wouldn't pay for it.
Garage . Imposible for a 4/4 car
quiet neighborhood centrally located. Attentive front desk staff.
gym was smelly, machines did not work.pool was cold. Wifi was volatile. screw tops on bathroom amenities were dangerous
Great location, close to Cemetery and shopping
WiFi was very poor, disconnected at night
New modern hotel Nice and friendly staff Good location
Wifi is very slow
Great Location in the heart of BA. Staff's very helpful and friendly. Very Clean and modern style equipped. Definitely going to stay there again on my next trip to BA.
Except for the limited dining options. No other issues whatsoever.
Great location in recoleta. Walking distance from recoleta cemetry and bars and shops. Hotel looks fairly new construcion, maybe within the last 2-3 years. Very modern and sleek place. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. B. Aires Grand hotel was nicer than a few other hotels in recoleta and boutique hotels I checked out in Palermo
WiFi barely worked in my room, very slow, constantly dropping out. There was a AC vent in the bathroom that kept the bathroom from being hot and humid after showers..... but this same vent would emit a foul sewage like odor various times throughout the day and night. Wasn't overpwering odor constantly, but definitly noticable at times. Not sure if all rooms suffered this or just my room on the 6th floor and the end of one hallway. My king size bed was just 2 full size mattresses pushed together..... which makes it impossible to sleep close with your partner or nightly guest. Breakfast was not included for a $200/nt USD price tag.
This hotel was a bit of a savior for us on our trip to Buenos Aires. When the owners of the apartment at Malabia 2154 (a Palmero Soho loft #247592 on a vacation rentals by owners site) told us that the apartment wouldn't be available after we arrived in Buenos Aires and left us stranded, we looked for places to stay. We were staying for 10 nights, and it was tough to find places that had availability for the entire time. We checked booking.com and saw 2 rooms were left at the Buenos Aires Grand and grabbed them! We arrived in BA at 10AM, and got to the hotel at 9PM. It was an exhausting day (on top of 21 hours of travel), and once we got to this hotel everything was great. The front desk staff that night were amazing, and every staff member we encountered after that was friendly and helpful. They would make restaurant reservations for us, help us change money, always opened the door, and greeted us. The staff is great. The rooms are nice, clean, comfortable and QUIET. BA is a busy city, I was really happy to have a room at the back of the hotel where you could hear a pin drop at night. There was no noise from neighboring rooms either, and the hotel was full. We were in the room for 10 days, and got a good feel it. We were really comfortable the entire 10 day stay in the room. Overall, our trip to BA had a rough start. We were stranded, sitting in basically a frat house that the owner of the apartment had arranged for us to use until we found a place, and then we arrived at the Buenos Aires Grand. If I were you, I'd skip the step where you arrange an apt that gets canceled, and just go right to the Buenos Aires Grand, where you'll be treated wonderfully well, and get a nice room for a decent price in a great part of the city.
There was a general strike one day while we were in BA, so we ate breakfast in the hotel. I was glad we didn't pay for breakfast to be included each day. There are better breakfasts values all over the neighborhood, and they're a much more authentic Argentine experience. In our room (806) the wifi worked great, but the room our friend had (606) the wifi would only connect if he stood next to the door of his room. So the wifi coverage seems to be location dependent, and not the same in all rooms. Every room should have strong wifi coverage in the day and age, especially in a newer hotel like this one.
3 blocks from Recoleta Mall and cemetery, shops and restaurants, many coffee shops on Callao Av a block away. Sightseeing bus stop some 3 blocks away.
The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.
Internet was spotty in the rooms but worked great in the lobby
Great location and solid value. Very clean, contemporary hotel. Helpful, friendly and bi-lingual staff.
Wifi did not work in our room. Had to access in lobby and restaurant.
