A swimming pool surrounded by a terraced garden can be enjoyed in a charming 19th century house with thatched roof. There is a vineyard, a tea house and free Internet access in common areas. Cachi town is a 25-minute drive away. At Casa de Campo La Paya guests can relax with a book from the library by the living room fireplace, stroll by the garden or visit Salta City, a 1.5-hour drive away. La Paya has rooms styled with rustic stucco walls, exposed stones and a warm palette. They are equipped with heating and private bathrooms with toiletries and showers. Interesting history to the building. Breakfast and dinner were very good. The location was as complete surprise. We didn't realize we'd be 20 km down a road away from town on a road that needed 4-wheel drive.

We stayed at this venue on 16 December 2012, with our 2 boys ages 11 and 14. This is a fantastic place! If you want to stay out of town and enjoy the Cachi-country side there is no better option! Its about a 25 minute drive or so south of Cachi (direction Cafayate). The venue is well furbished with everything you need and has a very smart comon lounge area to relax\read. Virginia was very helpful (she speaks quite a bit of English) and also helped us the following day in planning our road trip to Cafayate. We had a great supper and enjoyed a great breakfast on the veranda with a fantastic view. Before we left, we also drove further into the mountains on the farm road to enjoy the lovely country-side. There is abolutely nothing we didn't like about this venue. Only, the GPS-coordinates on the Booking.com website is completely wrong and way off the mark! It takes you to a site in Cachi-town itself. We finally managed to get proper directions from the tourist information office.

The contact with the nature. The noise of birds and the wind. Its calmness. Food is great !! The temperature of the water of the shower was too hot.

The property located 25 min south to cachi if you come from cafayate, it's a gravel road which turns left (follow the la paya small sign) and continues up hill (the gravel on this road it's a bit harder than the one in ruta 40 so drive more carefully. About the property itself, the owner, young lady was very nice and welcoming, she speaks small English and she explained us what/where/how... We got a stone decorated room which is very nice and special, the room was warm despite the fact that everything was from stone (the bed, walls), the bed sheets were clean and the sleep was perfect. The bath room is also clean with hot water. The breakfast is standard + (standard argentinian with cheese and ham in addition) , when we arrived we were suggested to also have a dinner (with additional price) but we choosed to try a cobrito (baby goat) in cachi. When it gets dark and you will have a clear sky, drive hundred meters away from the property where there is no light, turn off the lights and the engine and just enjoy the silence and the beauty of the stars ! There is no wifi at all, and the wired Internet doesn't really work

This is a gem of a venue which is tucked away miles off the beaten track! The owners are very welcoming and the food is excellent! The style of the building is very comfortable given that it is built to a traditional design. We travelled around Argentina and Brazil and this was one of the highlights! The signs guiding you to the Casa need to be a little more clear. We were not sure whether we were going in the right direction! Casa de Campo is quite a distance from the road to Cachi...

Full of character. Genuinely nice hosts. Excellent food. Superb surroundings. For the same price as a very average hotel room in town you get a fantastic country house experience. I thought it was the best place we stayed on a 2 week trip to the North West.

Nos atendieron muy bien. Había mencionado que necesitaba un desayuno libre de gluten y lo tuvieron en cuenta, cosa no menor, poruqe la mayoría de los lugares no lo hicieron. El lugar es hermoso, y las habitaciones enormes y muy lindas. No está en la ciudad de Cachi, son unos 10km aproximadamente por camino de ripio.

Gros coup de coeur: une maison de caractère et des chambres spacieuses et de bon goût dans un cadre splendide. Très bon accueil, un dîner local et de qualité, le tout pour un tarif très raisonnable. BRAVO Il ne manquait plus que la piscine soit propre... dommage

Accueil et beau cadre traditionnel argentin dans une finca fin 18ème. Possibilité de dîner sur place, service et repas de qualité dans une ambiance conviviale. Etape particulièrement appréciée après une journée de route "piste" Un peu loin de Cachi (13km)

EXCELENTE LUGAR PARA DESCANSAR Y CONECTARSE CON LA NATURALEZA.Es un lugar de ensueños!!Los detalle decorativos de la casa, sumados a la exquisita comida casera hicieron de nuestra estancia alli, una experiencia INOLVIDABLE!!Gracias!! No habernos quedado mas dias!!

Struttura splendidamente isolata a 12 km. Da Cachi, raggiungibile dopo un lungo sterrato, dà l'impressione di essere fuori dal mondo, ma questo le dà grande fascino. Camere grandissime, ben arredate, confortevoli. Zona piscina ampia con un piccolo praticello per prendere il sole. Bellissima la zona colazione all'aperto. Colazione di ottimo livello Si può anche cenare degustando il vino da loro stessi prodotto Non c'è wifi ma solo collegamento con modem. Piscina al pomeriggio sporca di terra portata dal vento.

Casa de campo La Paya è un posto davvero speciale. Una vecchia, romantica e grande grande casa di campagna, con stanze silenziose e curate, una deliziosa cucina di casa, tanta vegetazione - fiori di campo, cactus, alberi da frutto, erbe aromatiche - una cortesia di altri tempi e tutto il piacere di vivere una esperienza autentica

La maison est rustique et pleine de charme,les propriétaires sont aux petits soins,l'ambiance est chaleureuse. On se trouve en pleine nature, face à la montagne, le petit jardin est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner sous la tonnelle est délicieux. Dommage que la piscine ne soit pas utilisable, seul un fond d'eau glauque nous était offert, sans un mot d'explication. Or il est agréable après une journée de route et de promenade de se détendre en nageant. Nous avions notamment choisi l'établissement pour cela. Mais pour le reste super !!!!

Das Hotel liegt total ruhig und einsam zwischen hohen Bergen. Drumherum sind nur wenige andere Häuser. Die Zufahrt verläuft über eine ungeteerte Piste/Feldweg. Auf Nachfrage im Touristenbüro in Cachi erhielten wir einen Plan, auf dem La Paya als kleiner Ort eingezeichnet ist. Ca. 8 km südlich von Cachi Richtung Molinos zweigt ein Weg nach rechts in die Berge ab. Im Haus wird ein leckeres Abendessen zu fairen Preisen angeboten, sodass man nicht abends nach Cachi fahren muss. Ideal zur Sternenbeobachtung, da keine störenden Lichtquellen vorhanden sind.
