Lots of supplies in the kitchen. Good wifi. Breakfast isok.
The bed room was way too hot. The fan is useless and the bed heats up instantly making it very hard to sleep. I had to wait until 1pm to check in when it says 11am. The toilets don't flush properly or at all and bogged up often. The showers very rarely had cold water.
We had a private room in the back and it was good for us. Overall, the hostel was very clean and we really liked the common area. Very friendly and helpful staff. The kitchen was good. Breakfast wasn't bad, but we bought our own yogurt to supplement it. The walk to the main part of town was about 15 mins and safe. No problem, there.
A small thing but the sheets were really old and scratchy.
Staff very friendly and helpful, even brought us food on Xmas eve! Nice place to chill out.
Private room very hot at night- had fan but a/c would be better!
Breakfast is terrible, they don't even offer bread. So so basic. The water in the shower is cold. I tried to have a shower at 8pm but was freezing cold. It's a very noisy hostel, the common room is right beside the bedrooms and they let people stay up late a shout around meaning people in the bedrooms can't sleep.
5 mins walk from bus terminal 15 mins walk from town centre Reasonably priced
Breakfast was very minimal No soap in the bathroom
The hostel has a pretty good atmosphere, there is only one main room so you end up talking to people often. The tv is in english, but can be changed to other languages. The showers generally have hot water and are very clean. The wifi is strong and I never had any problems. Overall one of my favorite hostels.
The breakfast was light and was basically cookies and coffee, tea and sometimes raw eggs. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but sufficient.
Close to the metro, nice clean facilities, stsff were extremely helpful and friendly. They tracked down buses for me to remote Taltal. Breakfast was the usual fair but they served us and cleaned up. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Wifi works throughout the place although the Internet is pretty slow. Our private room with 2 singles was s little tight but workable. All in all a great hostel
Nothing negative to say!
Good hostel that attracts good mix of people - families, couples, solo travellers from wide range of countries. Relaxed place, lots of information and staff speak good English and are helpful. This hostel is sociable but not noisy. We had a private room and were able to get wifi in the room. I would stay here again. Location is near bus station and opposite a square. 20 min walk into town centre but is also 10-15 min walk in other direction to a winery :-)
Nothing. Everything worked and we had no problems.
We met several staff during our 5 day stay and they were all very helpful and approachable. Speaks perfect English too! The breakfast is good and substantial with eggs you can cook yourself. Coffee is really good too. It can get cold in winter but they provide heaters in every room and the lounge so you hardly feel cold when you are indoors. We like to stay close to bus terminal so it's very good location for us, just a short walk away from bus terminal, big supermarket and good steak restaurant Eros. If you prefer to be close to nightlife and main Centro it's probably not the best for you. Centro is about 20mins walk away but we enjoy walking so it wasn't an issue. If you book tour, they pick you up from the hostel anyway. We enjoyed our stay a lot, if we come back we will definitely stay there again.
The staff is very nice, checkout is at 10.30 and breakfast is served until 11, they even have eggs for breakfast not only cereal and bread
It's a few blocks away from the center and the night life of Mendoza but I didn't mind walking around
The best thing about this hostel is the peopke who work there, very willing to help, a lot of tours can be arranged, and advice nice restaurant.
I will say some of the bed r not very comfortable so u have to choose carefully, and the shower for the girls r always full of water after ppl used it, the water can't really let go, not so clean.
Great hostel, would totally recommend. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Located in a quiet area of Mendoza, most rooms not on street-side, and they ask people to be quiet as of midnight. Also very close to the busterminal.
Breakfast is very basic, for example no bread, but cornflakes, milk, eggs, apples & biscuits. I extented my reservation twice. At the 2nd extension they increased my day-rate with 20%, without any notice (not at the 1st extension). So double-check the rate with them if you extent.
The convenience! It was close to the bus station and easy to find. They publish an excellent map that has useful information for travellers. The staff were lovely and spoke good English. They were very helpful with information about Mendoza and made me feel very welcome as a solo traveller.
The living and courtyard areas were small so it wasn't inviting for people to sit around and socialise. The bathrooms were right in the middle of the hostel with no doors on the washbasin area so there was no privacy for washing, brushing teeth, etc.
Friendly staff, very helpful. Easy to organise tours through hostel and combine on bill.
Only one room has a window- gets very smelly and stuffy in mixed dorms! Bathrooms not very clean.
great staff!,location by bus station
small place; bathrooms
Very helpful staff, lot of information about activities around the hostel, clean room and bathroom
Very simple breakfast; just cereals, milk, coffee, raw egg and an apple
It was really close to the bus station which is good for traveling to maipu and other destinations but a 20min walk to everything else. It had a good breakfast and good kitchen to use whenever you wanted! Some of the staff were super nice and helpful and some were a bit unwelcoming. Such a cheap place to stay though so definitely worth the money!
The room was SO hot and no air con just a large fan that the front broke off of a lot of the time. Too far away from main part of the city.
Dorms are dark Good kitchen Good staff - very accommodating No smoking in entire hostel
Location - quite a walk to main st. No WiFi in double room upstairs No windows in dorm rooms
Awesome tourist desk, kitchen facilities and social area. Spacious rooms. Hot water. Staff were amazing. Definitely check out the ice cream parlour across the square.
A little bit of a trek from town but close to the bus stop.
to stay.close to the station and supermarket. Yael one of the owners was very welcoming and helpful. Lovely place to hang out.
Close to the bus station, staff friendly and helpful, plenty of activities that the staff can arrange.
Friendly and helpful staff. Close to the bus terminal.
We didn't get rooms reserved. The room we got had no windows, was small, warm and couldn't be locked. There was quite a noise from the hall. There was no proper breakfast. Not an ideal location for those who want to easily explore to the city center.
Staff is incredibly helpful. So nice to have someone around all the time. Very helpful with info and other assistance. Good wifi. Good breakfast, great kitchen, clean facilities.
A bit out of the way, about 20 minute walk to the peatonal/centro, but close to bus station.. Room was VERY warm at night, though fans helped make it tolerable.
All was perfect. The owner and the staff was so nice and very helpfull. The hostel is very quiet and close to the bus station. A nice place to be in Mendoza
Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location great facilities.
