The hotel is very close to some of the nicest restaurants and nightlife of Salta. Only a few blocks from the main square. Rooms are spacious and quite. The spa pool is really nice.
Nice view over the city and mountains. There is personnel at the spa. The sauna is always on temperature. The gym is well equipped.

they gave us a smoking room which smelled so so bad, they changed the room to another one without air conditioning, we survived the night but requested to change it the next day where they gave us a nice room at last. Wifi is slow.
Very spacious room. Good WiFi, and could also connect my laptop to the internet with a cable.
The breakfast was not great. Limited fruits, and nothing warm (even in the winter) except for the coffee and tea.
-We got a smoking room even though we asked for non-smoking. -Hairdryer was broke. -Parking cost is high.

The service is not good. I asked for an airport transfer with my booking (5 days before arrival) and initially never got any reply. I sent a reminder, got a reply and confirmed the transfer. However, when we arrived at the airport nobody was there. Also, the hotel gave us a bill showing the double price of what we booked for. When we indicated this at reception, they first told us that it was too late to do anything about it, "come back tomorrow", while it was not our fault and they gave us a very wrong bill. These things are not okay for a 4* hotel.
Swimming pool and sun terrace were nice. Clean spacy rooms. Free parking around the corner.

I tried to change a Monday and Tuesday reservation to Monday and Saturday. I was told if Booking.com made the change, it would be no problem. Had a wonderful customer service experience with booking.com rep and the change was made. Was then told by Casa Real staff that I had to pay for Tuesday regardless and that there was a two night minimum for weekends (not true...I could have booked Saturday only with Booking.com but chose better hotel instead). My pregnant wife and I made the best of the hotel administration's inflexibility, but would not recommend hotel because of overall experience.
Clean, tidy and conveniently located.
I booked a twin room with 2 double beds. Upon our arrival, one hour later than our estimated arrival time, the hotel had no rooms like that available and offered me a room with one king bed for 4 people as it was the only room they had left. I showed them my booking receipt which specified two double beds and 2 adults and 2 children. They showed me their booking confirmation received from booking.com and that only specified 2 people. They said it was therefore not their fault that they did not have the room that I had booked. They said they might be able to add a single bed to the room if I wished but would I mind checking first to see if the 4 of as could fit in the one bed first. (Young receptionist dealing with a hotel employee who obviously did not want to have to start lugging beds around if he didn't have to). I looked at the room and requested that the extra single bed be added. This was then done. I asked for a discount on the rate I was paying for the room with two double beds and this request was refused as they said I had the maximum discount available for that room.
The hotels location is excellent. The staff at reception, room service dinning room was very capable of offering help for our needs as tourists in a total foreign city to us. We did not need to use the Wi-Fi facilities during our stay therefore cannot comment on it's reliability. Again to get around in the city we found that it was quite sufficient to ask from the reception staff and they answered our curiosities quite well.
I found the bar fridge empty and stayed empty during our stay. I found that the cleaning of the room took too long. Found the room not yet cleaned up at around 15h00 one day. The breakfast for a 4 star should give you a more British breakfast style found that it is limited to continental breakfast.
Good location but overpriced. It is pretty run down (windows don´t close, aircon rather noisy). I looked at two different rooms and they were quite the same low standard.

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We arrived and they helped us a book a car rental for the next day within the first 30 minutes. The breakfast spread was also great.
The only thing I didn't like was that the gym didn't open until 10 am in the morning and check out was at 11 am so that make it pretty impossible to work out before leaving.
