Castelar Hotel & SPA    

Within walking distance of most everything we wanted to explore. Staff were extremely helpful to this non Spanish speaking couple.

It is an excellent hotel that in the future I will stay there again.

The hotel is well located, the lobby is very pretty and the breakfast is great.

Its a four stars hotel but the rooms are not that luxury, everything is old in it, not in a good way, the decoration, tv, wardrobe. The price is not worth the room, and the pics on the website are totally different from the room you get to sleep, plus they say that you get a room with windows to the main street but thats not true. The power went out a couple of times too.

The location of this hotel is very good. Staff was also helpful. I think that the owner of this hotel should hire more people - at least to clean the tables during the breakfast-time.

There are too few seats in the restaurant. Every morning at the breakfast many visitors had to wait for a free table. The breakfast menu was also not really as good as one would except from a 4 stars hotel. Only one cleaning lady was responsible for all tables... First we got a very old and noisy room, which was a real disappointment for us. After complains we got a better one facing Av. de Mayo.

It must have been a great hotel years ago; however, her glory has faded! I would most certainly not give it it 4 stars! Even three stars is pushing it. The Spa is what gives it the extra star! Rooms need redecorating and the bathrooms need to be revamped!

Friendly, unchanging, old world atmosphere, wifi works, good central location, on tube line, esy to get taxis/limos,

tendency for public demonstrations in Avenue outside can be noisy, time-delying and perhaps (to some) intimidating. Not the fault of the hotel, but ...

Good location, good staff.

Hotel is old fashioned, a bit passe. Old furniture in lobby and restaurant are giving the hotel charm. The rooms however are done, bad furniture, bedding and closet. A classic, 'how it used to be' hotel. Not worth the 4 stars.

Good location and great free buffet breakfast. Small balcony from my room, and a nice bathroom, very clean rooms. Very good food at the restaurant as well.

I had great experiences with 3 staff members, and the rest of the staff at reception was basically snotty and unhelpful. Spa services are not included in the room rate, and the weekend hours were almost useless for my stay. I also was woken up around 8:00 by staff walkie talkies and vacuum from cleaning staff since the walls are pretty thin. Room did not look like the photos, but was decent enough.

Me gustarn todos los servicis, las instalaciones, solo el spa de hombres habria que actualizarlo.

El spa esta muy bien organizado y se puede descanzar tranquilo. El servicio de desayuno muy completo

Las habitaciones quizas son muy frias en cuanto a decoracion, faltaria musica hambiental en los sectores comunes del hotel. El desayuno si bien es completo deberia tener una bandeja de frios para los lacteos, fiambres, etc...

Ambientacion historia del lugar, ubicacion, reciclaje del hotel a tecnologia preservando lo arquitectonico e historia del lugar.

Que en un dia de lluvia el personal al exterior no contaba con paraguas para cubrir de la misma a pasajeros que llegan a hotel como asi elementos para resguadar equipaje del agua en su dscarga

La atención del personal y los servicios del spa

La falta de atencion nocturna en el restaurante. Pedi que me llamaran para hacer un pedido de comida a la habitación y nunca respondieron el llamado.

Las habitaciones son cálidas, el spa es muy relajante y el desayuno es muy bueno. La ubicación es excelente, cerca de la Av 9 de julio.

La ubicación en la avenida de mayo y la arquitectura del hotel, es un paseo imaginario por la Buenos Aires de principios de siglo pasado. La atención del personal es excelente; el desayuno muy bueno.

El tamaño de la habitación no pertenece a un 4 estrellas,tv de tubo,no tiene estacionamiento y el servicio del spa me pareció pobre.

Quando chegamos nos colocaram em um quarto com carpete no 11andar (como a maioria dos hoteis em Buenos Aires são antigos quase todos tem carpete e o aspecto de sujo). Pedimos para trocar devido a alergia e o funcionário consegui efetuar a troca no dia seguinte. Portanto quando fizerem a reserva solicite um quarto sem carpete.

O hotel por dentro não é tão luxuoso quanto parece no site. E quanto a função de spa acho q não se deve levar em conta devido ao fato de atender qq pessoa mesmo não sendo hospede!

La atencion de conserjería El Spa es un verso, la pileta del spa dama, es una bañera con forma de riñón. ·El reciclado de las habitaciones deja mucho que desear, malos los colchones, viejos y con resortes, un horror los roperos y ni hablar de las cortinas. Desayuno normal.

no me gusto mucho la habitación que me asignaron ya que la ventilación era hacia un pozo de aire y no hacia la calle,me dio la sensación de encierro y oscuro, lo demás todo muy bien.

exelente la atencion , no están arriba tuyo pidiendo propina todo el tiempo esta muy bueno que te dejen un poco libre y también que no sean tan estrictos con el check out , el desayuno es muy bueno ! el spa de lo mejor

que no tuviese piscina y que los masajes corporales fuesen un poco caros
