Che Argentina Hostel Suites

Es una casa antigua reciclada con mucho estilo y una terraza de ensueño. La habitación es muy bonita y el servicio es excelente.

Che Argentina is a babies friendly place! Even though there are huge stairs in the entrance (so it makes it difficult for prams) you can receive a bed for the baby and even a baby swing chair. All that without extra charges.

It was my second staying in this hostel, and I had a chance to compare it with some other hostels after my first staying. I must say, that it's a really great place to live, and it's even better than most of the 2-3* hotels in Baires. Excellent lounge, nice furniture and decorating, very kind people who speak good English, perfect location and security, and, what was really important for me, very high level of cleanness in every part of hostel. As I think, the only reason why it's not a 'hotel' - they have a kitchen, ha-ha :) Well, reserve room in Che Argentina without any hesitation! :)

The room was comfortable with a high ceilings and a fan. Staff is helpful and although San Telmo is a relatively safe barrio, the front door is kept locked.

The rooms are all directly off the public area, so be prepared to every doorbell and telephone ring.

Excellent hosting with kind and helpful people. Always able to give information and hints to the travelers. Delicious breakfast. Clean bedroom n bathroom. Placed in a great neighborhood, with a lot of entertainment at night! Recomended!!!

Everything was perfect!

1) Different prices when you pay by cash and by card (by card 10% more). It is not professional at all. 2) Breakfast between 8-10, but I didn't see anyone there before 9, one day breakfast started at 9:40. 3) I didn't expect much from breakfast in hostel, but I never saw this: per two person they'll give you half of baguette, few grams of butter and jam, 2 coffees and 2 glasses of drink from chemical powder. 4) From staff is just one who speak really English, but most the time he will try to force you into their city tour or tango show. 5) Cleanness, noise from street and old equipment could be without any problems for real hostel, but is not with combination of problems above.

Almost everything was excellent. Staff is very kind and nice, hostel is located in an old part of Baires with beautiful buildings around it. It's a very secure hostel, no one can simply get inside - door is always locked. Very cheap laundry (20 pesos).

No wi-fi on the second floor at all. It's a mystery why they can't set just another router there :)

The best thing about the hostel is the people. The two Pablos, owner & staff, are charming guys who will go out of their way to be helpful. The location is at the heart of things, especially the lively San Telmo market on Sundays. It's possible to stroll into the Centro or there's a metro station at the top of the road. Breakfast is served on the sunny rooftop terrace where you can 'hang', have a beer or whatever. We found it to have a good atmosphere.

Like most cities street traffic is noisy and the hostel is on a corner. Not so busy while we were there, but could be a problem for the sensitive, I suppose.

Ha un bel terrazzo per la colazione. La posizione è buona, in zona San Telmo. Però ce ne sono di più vicini a piazza Dorrego, che è il cuore del quartiere. Gestore simpatico e chiaccherone (con la flemma portena, ovviamente).

La nostra stanza doppia dava sul corridoio vicino alla reception, sensazione di non grande privacy. E sensazione di umido. Stanza niente di che. Colazione niente di che.

J'ai aimé l'acceuil, le personnel est très sympa. Et c'est trés bien placé, et très propre.

Les lits sont un peu limites, des fois ils grincent, mais sinon ça va.

O quarto duplo com banheiro.

Na verdade, eu achei muita escada que dá acesso ao andar superior. Não é mencionado no site e se a pessoa não tem mochila e tem uma mala pesada, é péssimo. O atendimento depende da pessoa. A moça do café e o rapaz loiro da manhã ótimos. O senhor da noite é gentil mas despreparado. Os demais funcionários são desatentos, não transmitem confiança nem sabem recepcionar o turista, cobram a mais do que está no site do booking, não sabem responder as perguntas e não deram recibo. Paguei o café da manhã que não estava pronto no horario estabelecido pelo hostel. Há muito para melhorar !

Con certeza uno de los mas agradables Hostels que conoci. Resalta la buena atencion y dedicacion del personal. Un lugar muy limpio y tranquilo para pasar una buena estadia.

The hostel's location was central and the room was clean. The hostel staff are all friendly and helpful.

The noise from the busy streets kept me awake at night a lot and I didn't like that. I didn't speak Spanish at all and when the hostel staff with little English was there was a bit of struggle with communication.

We stayed in a double room which was spotlessly clean and very spacious, with a comfy bed and one of the best showers we've had during our 2 months in SA. We also liked the high ceilings and wooden furnishings. The large roof terrace was good as well, while the breakfast bread was fresh and tasty. Friendly, helpful staff.

Room got a bit noisy at night with street traffic so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
