Friendly staff. Colorful kitchen and dining area. Quiet
The staff is wonderful and friendly (most of them). It is located in a pretty decent place, near Plaza Serrano (bars) and near Av. Santa Fe and Cordoba (transportation, stores). The price I paid was really cheap, but after this time, my choices will be different. It wasn't worth it.
Despite them being friendly, the staff is not knowledgeable of hosting people. The owner is a good guy, but somewhat sneaky and privacy may be a concern. The amenities are not good, it's a beautiful old house lacking maintenance and cleanliness lacks everywhere, especially in the toilets. Showers are in bad shape and so are some beds.
The location was very good close to good bus and train links and away from tourist areas. You can also walk to a tourist bus stop. The staff are great especially mauro that helped us out a lot on advise. The communal area is very nice and welcoming.
The bathroom could be updated but it was clean.
Such nice and friendly vibe at this guesthouse. I have stayed in the dorm and in a private room and both were comfortable. The staff and the owner Jorge are there to make the most of your stay.
Great location, super nice people, comfortable beds.
The bathroom facilities could be better. Looks old and because of that it doesnt look very clean.
Dont make the same mistake i did. Dont do it! Horrid, dirty, unsafe, bed bugs, slugs, room not cleaned, creepy people constantly smoking..just dont
Location and atmosphere
Nice light and airy hostel, helpful staff, and a pet tortoise :)
The staff were second to none; really helpful and would go out of their way to assist. Cute little room that was fine for our needs. Superb location to both palermo Hollywood and soho and downtown.
We gave some requests about breakfast according to our diets but we were only really provided with fruit as an option. But this was ok. The breakfast would be fine for most people.
Wifi Lovely staff Great breakfast
Room was far too hot -hard to sleep at night and got eaten by mosquitoes Room was very small - not much room to put all your stuff and move about comfortably
nice staff i like that there were no bunk beds...just 8 stand alone beds in the mixed dorm, so everyone had their space
it felt strict... like i wasn't allowed to be in the common area i was eaten alive by mosquitos
The floor of the room was dirty, the bathroom flooded and stayed wet for an entire day, the sheets were so old you could see through them. The window shutters couldnt be locked. There were no hangers, no room for a backpack. The room was so small, that the only thing that fitted was the bed. Not even room for walking.
The hostel is run by a family which is really helpfull and friendly. They told us some insider tips where to eat or what is nice to see in Buenos Aires. One girl of the staff was very friendly and helpfull. She gave us tips how to get to Tigre. Ask for Tere :)
The room was not really clean. The trash wasn't removed for two days. The toilet wasn't cleaned for two days as well. The room was very expensive compared to other hostels with better rooms. The heating did not work in our room. On the pictures the rooms look much nicer than in real.
