I like the facility and location, staff and look of lobby
We had to move from NON SMOKING Room that was smoked in,even had 1/2 cigarette with ashes sitting ther and burn holes on bed and carpet. BUT instead of making it a good thing. We got a smaller room with bad view and noisy AC...Also breakfast buffet had empty egg container the whole time I was there.
Staff were friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. The readiness of check-in and check-out, transfer booking and kindness of the employees .
The room I got was in really bad condition and was very dirty!! The carpet was very nasty that I used my slippers when I was in the room. It stinks like cigarettes. The air-conditioning is centralized so if anyone smokes it goes through all the rooms. In no way is this a 5 star hotel. The breakfast included is the same every day and could be dramatically improve at no additional cost. The coffee at the breakfast needs serious improvement and it tasted as if it was ready for asphalt work!
Very good value for money, very obliging! Apart from one lady in the bar Girl on pool duty wonderful plus reception staff. Good with children Thank you
Things like shower head grubby, silly to remove opened soaps every day, terrible waste Fridge not restocked
Mattress and pillows a Little worn out
Nothing. The cleaner was very nice and tried her best with the horrible place.
Seriously this place is a joke. It stinks like cigarettes. The air-conditioning is centralised so if anyone smokes it goes through all the rooms. I spent 5 nights sleeping with the windows open in summer with no air-con. If you dont you will wake up in the middle of the night coughing. Disgusting small and old rooms, terrible internet. In no way is this a 5 star hotel. There is much better on offer in Argentina - do not stay here. I have been to 31 countries and this is the worst hotel yet.
The staff were absolutely fantastic.
Poor wifi reception and only one working pc in the business centre.
Well located if it's your first time in Buenos Aires. The pool is highly appreciated in summer times.
Location Nice and helpful staff
Wifi didn't work well Room too small
Location location location Great old building Nice bar lounge area Staff was very nice
WiFi Would not let my wife and I play cards in lounge
Friendly staff 24hour desk Great breakfast and breakfast area Central location
Small room Slow lifts
English heritage Advice with tours and restaurants
The dining room and general ambience of the bar area is charming. Outside is broken pavement, a sex shop is opposite, but the Old Lady is holding her own and offers an oasis of gentility
I showed the reception my international booking for the flight home and asked them to arrange a car to pick me up at 5.20. He driver spoke no English, I speak no Spanish. He took me to the wrong airport. Whose fault was that?
Not easy to find
Location was great just a half of a block from Florida street which is a pedestrian street with many shops.
Bathroom was too small and beds were not comfortable.
the location the staff the food
The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was nice. The location is terrific, close to major points of interest. We would go back, no question.
Good location,large lobby
Sunday reception staff were very off hand. Initially given noisy room next to lift. Then given smoking room. I had specified quiet and non smoking room! The third room was satisfactory but given with ill grace. The week day staff were very helpful. We stayed about ten years ago, the hotel has gone downmarket since then.
The readiness of check-in and check-out and kindness of the employees .
The coffee at the breakfast needs serious improvement and it tasted as if it was burnt . The carpet and wallpaper need change .
Everyone was so friendly and extra helpful
I felt the hotel room was very average with minimum amenities... Beds weren't very comfortable and I always had to go down and ask for cups and things
location, staff, breakfast, lobby, bar area and whole main floor, updated bathroom
depressing state of rooms, furniture is antiquated ,lack of attention to details such as curtaines..,assigning the worst room on arrival being tired and while the house is half empty and which leads to dissatisfaction till another better room shows up immediatly.Five star designation is inapproprite,no more than 3.5-4 .The hotel which had glorious history needs urgent overhauling.
Very helpful and attentive staff. Availability of room even though we checked in early. Map provided with personalized directions for walking tour. Excellent dining recommendation. Location,location..... Great experience during our brief stay in B.A.
Very friendly and helping personnel. Very good breakfast; good location and usually silent.
Rooms are a bit too old looking, with some smell of mould.
The internet was lousy. Free internet is offered in the room and it keep on falling down. You need to search for routers of other floors and it was very difficult to reconnect. For me the shampoo was refilled in old pots and was very liquid. The first day I found some hairs on the wall of the shower.
Excellent location, nice staff, clean facilities. The view from our room in the 14th floor was beautiful. The included breakfast was very good. We really enjoy our stay at the Claridge Hotel definitely we will be back when visiting Argentina. We highly recommend it.
