Claridge Hotel  

Trevlig uppmärksam personal. Tjänstvilligt. Trevliga rena fina rum, bra badrum. Mycket god och stor frukostbuffe med stort utbud. trevlig bar. trevlig pool och gym. Mycket bra läge nära stora gågator och hamn (Microcentro/PuertoMadero)

Första gången vi bodde där ständgde man poolen för renovering i tre dagar, villket var en missräkning, eftersom det var ett av skälen till att vi valde det.

The condition of the hotel is in pretty bad shape. It is pretty run down and gives the impression of a 3* hotel in European standards. Some of the rooms have the smell of a very strong mildew and you can even see the humidity patches on the textile covered walls that didn't see any renovation since the hotel was constructed (a nightmare for people with allergies). Furthermore the rooms are extremely small and the semi-balcony- window rails are very low (probably at 80cm) which gives you an insecure sensation when you're on the 10th floor. It is a shame for a European chain to promote and price this hotel as a 5*

I have stayed at the Claridge my last 3 trips to Buenos Aires.

Having arrived on the Buquebus from Uruguay the Claridge was a short taxi ride away. From the moment we saw the hotel we knew we were in thecentre of everything; the staff were welcoming and the service 5 star.Some staff spoke English; checking in and out was painfree and speedy. The buffet breakfast was substantial and well presented. The room was comfortable and clean if a little dated, but that is part of the hotel's charm. I would give it 9 out of 10 for its location alone. I would go there again.Enjoy!

We had a connecting room which we didn't need so sometimes we were aware of other room's noise.

Very friendly, helpful staff and a noticeable improvement in efficiency. I am a regular user of this hotel.

Not a single problem.

On my return trip, knowing I was going back to the Claridge, was an added bonus to my holiday. It gave me the peace of mind, knowing I was going back to this lovely, home away from home. A comfortable and safe haven in a foreign city for a woman traveling alone, where the staff are always on hand to assist in any way, is always sort after, but rarely found, but this time I found it. Go Claridge!

Everything about the Claridge Hotel I liked. Helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and a restaurant with food fit for a king..........what else could any traveler ask for?

Good extensive breakfast. Proximity to busy shopping areas. Security of access to accommodation floors. 24 hour free internet access in business centre. Leisure complex/pool. Firm/comfortable bed.

Considerable noticeable dust on the piano in the piano lounge. Grandfather clock at reception slightly squint (not a big deal, but it started to irritate me). My bedroom window views... one onto busy street below, and the other onto a rooftop the level of which a thief/burglar could find it easy to access the window to try and get in. The television was kind of old-fashioned... the image the hotel tries to present suggests a more modern flat-screen televion. Also, BBC World News and CNN were off for a couple of nights and reception generally not particularly great. The decor in the bar/lounge/breakfast room needs refreshed. The interior decor is unsure of itself... a mix of gothic style wooden arches against colonial British furniture etc doesn't work... it conflicts. There was a considerable gap in the room door... ie it didn't quite fit and noise from the hallway/corridor and sometimes other room... could be heard. Location a bit dodgy directly opposite a sex-shop, with lots of suspect people in the vicinity. On one occasion, asked for 'wake-up call'... didn't get it.

nice beds and good massarge

laundry. first they bring my laundry back while im in my room asleep. and they ruined my new dress. breakfast is the same every day
