Hotel Colón  

fantastic location,just beside the obelisk and an easy walk from the main sights.fabulous buffet breakfast with a huge choice.helpful staff,very clean room.would definately reccommend this hotel

It was very well located. The front desk staff were very busy but helpfull.

The hotel is in need of repairs. The rooms are small and the bathrooms obsolete. And small Beware of smoking rooms as the smell is bad. It is rated 4 stars but is really a fair three stars,,,, expensive for the quality.

There are two types of rooms in this hotel; standard rooms and suits. The standard rooms are definitely not 4 stars; they are dingy tiny rooms. However, the suits are in a good size and they deserve to be called 4 stars. When I first arrived they gave me a standard room, and I immediately went to the reception and told them there was no way I could stay there and they upgraded me to a suit room right away. The hotel location is great; being in the middle of downtown and you neary have access to all kinds of shops and restaurants. The breakfast is ok as well.

The Hotel was very conveniently located, close to the venue of the Conference that I was attending.The room was very clean and spacious.

Having arrived early in the morning, was exhausted and jet lag was eating into me hence looking forward to lying down. Arrived at the hotel at 09:30 and told I could not check in until at least 13:00, what a nightmare to walk around the city whilst exhausted. Wish they could change check in time to earlier time like many parts of the world. As it was very cold in Buenos Aires, tried to switch on the heating, actually made the room even colder.And the bedding's didn't feel warm enough.

OExcellent location, close to all the shopping places, very convenient. The staff is kind, attentive and helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent, so many wonderful choices for breakfast. I would book a stay at any time.

The hotel needs some minor repair, especially the carpet some of the furniture needs updating badly. ny

The location is GREAT! It's right on the main street so you can reach transportation, the Theather and the Tango show accross the street! The front desk was fast and we had no issues with the staff - they were ALL very receptive and caring!

Three elevators in service and they were working strangely! I pressed 8th floor and it did not lit, so I pressed it a few extra times and it lit 9, 10,11,12,14 - it went up and then it went all the way down... did not stop on 8! We took another one that the internal light was light horror movie. For last, the towels were clean but there were stains on them. The wi-fi signal was dropping all the time and was too slow! Luckly they had a business center so I used their PC!

Las habitACIONES, el desayuno, y la ubicacion. Pero tuve mala suerte por que de las 3 noches que estuve no habia agua caliente, por que se rompio calderas, y no teniamos telefono en habitacion, por room service. Y al reclamar no habia gerencia ni nadie que se hiciera cargo de nada

Esta vez nos sorprendio profundamente la falta de personal y la falta de servicio de habitaciones y de restorant durante el fin de semana. Creo que u 4 estrellas no se acerca a eso.

A localização é excelente para quem quer conhecer a cidade. Os funcionários são atenciosos e competentes. A disponibilidade de computador e impressora foi muito útil durante minha estadia.

The location is great. Walking distance to everything and obelisc view. There are two PCs near the reception connected to internet and they don't charge the customers for the use. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel needs immediately a renovation. It is old and everything is so timeworn! There is no soundproofing so if your room is on the 4th floor (as ours was) you will need earplugs for sleeping. This is not a 4 star hotel.
