Located 215 yards from the picturesque Colon theater and less than half a mile from the Obelisk, the Bisonte Libertad offers city views in a green area of downtown Buenos Aires, facing the Libertad...
Score from 1403 reviews Very good
Location is the only good point
Terrible staff Horrible and old rooms with moisture No A/C - If you open the windows the street noise is very loud. Old mattress and tear furniture
dirty room (wall, carpet, and so on) When I came into the room first, somebody's underwear there... too disappointed...
Good location, view on Av. 9 de Mayo, the biggest and most vivid street of Buenos Aires.
WiFi is very slow and unstable. You have to be really close to the router to get any signal. So, in distant rooms there is no chance to get connected.
Not being able to access the internet anywhere apart from Salon La Pinta (certainly not in the bedrooms, in spite of being advertised as accessible everywhere in the hotel).
The location was wonderful.
Hotel needs updating. The elevators were slow and very small.
Clean, well located and very reasonably priced
Basics like WiFi did not work consistently. Lift were slow
Location Breakfast it's just fine
The old dirty rooms The beds are really small, uncomfortable The A/C device turns on, but doesn't do anything Four stars hotel is a complete lie, It's one star plus looking with a nice eye
Great location. Comfortable
The hotel is centrally located at the Plaza de Republica and near metro stations. The staff was particularly helpful.
The hotel is old and really in need of a update. Fixtures were barely hanging on and there is a little mildew smell in the room. Worst of all, the wi-fi is not present in the rooms.
this hotel change , it was good and i used to stay there, but now is terrible. tehre is no capacity to atend. its awful
everethig is terrible, the restaurant in the breakfast there is no spoon, no knife, no glasses, nothing. The elevator takes a long time to arrive, Always full. the apartment is awful and very old.
No wifi, bad bed, smelly and noisy room... For gods sake!
The location is excelent
Gymnasium, ergometer and running Belt Not working The other equiment in the Gym was ok
Location and Staff excellent !! Breakfast is pretty good also.
Wifi works in some areas of the hotel , but not in the rooms.
Only the breakfast are good
The guys in the reception un kindy gave me another room that I didn't book, doesn't want to help Thw room are not like the pics
Breakfast was good, bedroom always clean.
WiFi signal on bedroom was terrible, couldn't get online at all. The bed sheets were broken.
Organization, lack of cleaning, 3 elevators of 3 out of service.
Good located with tasty and plentiful breakfast.
Quite old equipment, especially climatization and TV. No WiFi in the room.
The lobby looks renovated but the rooms weren't. The good side about the rooms is that it has the feel of the "old" times. Location was definitely a plus!
Elevator was slow. There were no slopes from the entrance of the hotel to the reception area. We had to carry our baggage a few steps down and a few steps up, on day of arrival and departure, respective. No bellboy was present to assist at all.
Central location, also in respect to traveling to_from both Airports. Very kind and helpful staff, good room standard, good breakfast, overall: is a good hotel.
Nothing to complain.
Very good location Good breakfast Staff are friendly
Very poor or almost no WI FI in the room I had to go to the lobby area to get a fair signal It has been like this since my first stay before 4 years but no improvement at all
Fantastic breakfast; easily the best we had in southern Argentina. Good location midway between the famous Recoleta cemetery (a walkable walk to the north) and the craftsy, streetsy San Telmo (other way, down the bottom of Defensa).
The hotel is otherwise a characterless bolthole. It is slightly shabby if you look hard, but nothing scary. If you are given windows facing the front, onto the main Av de 9 Julio, expect to be woken by car horns around 6:00.
The staff were very helpful and courteous. My friends and I enjoyed the plentiful and variety of the breakfast.
The air conditioner in the room did not always work well.
Personal was always in bad mood and wasn't very keen on helping us. Specially one older guy with bald had. Taxis waiting in front of the hotel will cheat you. They would leave you in wrong place and ask for dollars and if you don't have they want more money, don't give them. The room was dirty and there was a very bad smell inside and we were afraid to get scabies (and I'm used to hostels and was most of the times satisfied there!, next time I better book a hostel). WLAN doesn't work and if you ask the personal they say: We know it there is a problem and it will stay like this, we can't help you. And while they are saying that they wouldn't even look at you. I don't recommend this hotel!
