Location was great. Breakfast buffet containing large variety of fruits, pastries .
Hotel was crowded and there were two recepcionists at a time. Therefore especially during mornings the lobby was full of customers ready to go for excursions which create a chaotic medium. Recepcionists hardly serve to customers properly that cause some customers (i.e. us) missed their tours.Because a recepcionist has approved an agents' claim that a customer could not be found without announcing their names, despite they had been waiting at the lobby.
Not even breakfast was very good
The standard room was full of cigarette smell,I ask for the suite and even that was very old, cigarrets smelly and even curtains were in pieces,I particulary ask for not smoking, they price too much for what I had to sleep in very dissapointed.
Location and the breakfast
I was on the second floor and there was a lot of street noise. Wifi did not work in rooms, plumbing was old, towels and sheets were threadbare.
Excellent location, brilliant view of the obelisk. Brilliant breakfast with a lot on offer. Staff very helpful (check in actually offered to bring the rate down if we paid cash in USD instead!)
The worst part is the rooms look NOTHING like the pictures. We actually felt quite scammed in regards to this. Very old-fashioned furniture, old TV sets, air-con was a very outdated radiator like thing that only had the option to blow out 0°C air. Not like the pictures depict at all!
too small rooms the stuff didn't speak english too expensive
The locación, The room service.
When I did the check in, they gave me a smoking room although I have requested in my reservación a NONSMOKING one. I had to insist for a Long period of time before to get what I have requested. I do not think I will return there.
Its very close to many attractive tourism places. Also very easy to get transportation. You can see a beautiful views
No sevice for taking your bags to and from rooms
Photo's on website and booking.com are not confirm reality! Hotel is old, rooms are old, wi-fi is not working properly, rooms are dirty. View from room is on brick wall.
Location Friendly and very helpful staff Responsive to suggestions
Air cond could be better, especially in hot weather
The lobby looks great.
The sheets had staines, the DOUBLE bedroom had two singles pushed together, smaller rooms than hostels, chipped paint/ decoration, no air conditioning, old and dated decoration, flies everywhere.
Location - Excellent!!!
Air conditioning was not working on the entire hotel Wifi only works in the lobby - No internet on the rooms at all!!! I had to sleep with my windows opened and got a lot of noise from the street.
good location room was clean breakfast ok by argentinian standards (if you like sweet cakes for breakfast) WiFi free (signal ok only in rooms close to elevator)
rooms need refurbishment (enamel peeling off from bath tub, wallpaper peeling off at places, stuffy, A/C noisy without cooling effect) elevators (some permanently broken, up to 15min wait at times, only emergency staircase) No power plugs available (!), all existing cables disappear behind wall panels. Only the one in the bathroom was usable. View from the window is a huge concrete wall in 3m distance - almost no light or air circulation
room service price bed A/C bathroom
ac, wifi, mall room, badly mantained rooms
Location is central though it is certainly not in a new or chic part if the city.
Rooms are old and dated, AC is very poor with no temperature control (only on off) and units were falling apart. Front desk staff were overworked with frequent long lines. Lobby is small and uninviting with people camped and slouched everywhere as they waited for their room.
Breakfast buffet was fantastic.
Elevator service was rather poor. Some days only 1 out of 3 lifts worked and this was a real problem especially in the morning.
The room was not even close to the one i rented/they showed me i was renting.
Location, it's in front of the obelisk Facilities were in a really good shape for the price. Breakfast (included) was really good with a variety of food for everyone's taste Great value for your money
The elevators were not in good shape and two of the three broke while we were there
ELEVATOR Humid extractor
Probably this was a good hotel in the past. Nowadays it clearly needs renovation because the structure is falling apart. I believe it has all the requirements of a 4* hotel but you do NOT feel at all like that because of the very old infrastructure. The breakfast is good and the location is excellent!
Internet only works in the lobby or corridor of every floor with very weak signal.
Alarm in next room went off three nights in a row, one time for two hours, and I couldn't sleep. Also, lot's of street noise. Terrible place to get a good night's rest.
The room, breakfast, the staff (I would like to mention Miguel Angel, but others, whose names I don't know, were very efficient and helpful as well), the location, the cleanliness, the free wi-fi,...
The fact that wi-fi wasn't accessible in the bedrooms, in spite of being advertised as if it were.
Location is the only good point
Terrible staff Horrible and old rooms with moisture No A/C - If you open the windows the street noise is very loud. Old mattress and tear furniture
dirty room (wall, carpet, and so on) When I came into the room first, somebody's underwear there... too disappointed...
Good location, view on Av. 9 de Mayo, the biggest and most vivid street of Buenos Aires.
WiFi is very slow and unstable. You have to be really close to the router to get any signal. So, in distant rooms there is no chance to get connected.
