Score from 1605 reviews Good
The day and night time receptionists were very helpful and professional. The customer service they gave was excellent. The location of the hotel was very good due to its proximity on foot to the city centre and places worth visiting as well as being close to public transport.
The wifi connection signal showed, BUT it was IMPOSSIBLE to connect to the internet in the rooms with the given password, but I was always assured that it was correct and that the problem would be seen to BUT, to my surprise NOTHING happened. So as far as having wifi in the room, this facility was non-existent unfortunately. I had to sit in reception to get connected to the internet, which only seemed to work well there.
Excellent for the price. I would recommend for young people who are looking for a cheap hotel at a good location. It's near a lot of touristic places.
The internet is quite slow but it works at least to be communicated.
Attention of deskfront.
Great value for money! Excellent location. Friendly staff. For the price we paid you can only expect shared bathroom hostel far from downtown, but we got a decent hotel room in downtown with clean bed, clean private bath, cable-TV, air condition in a 10 floor building with 2 lifts. About the review of key card not working, you just have to wait a little until green light turn on and then take away your card to open the door.
Incredible low price for such an excellent location. Staff very kind.
bed with only thin bedspread, but when we ask for the blanket, staff brought it immediately.
very helpful staff in the reception, but small rooms:(
hair dryer didn't work, shower door was broker and lukewarm water in both hot and cold pipes
I liked the price and location. The staff members were very nice and also helpful with directions around the city.
My room was old and musty with stains on the carpet and bed spread. The shower head fell off multiple times while trying to shower. There was also a lot of rust on the shower, which caused the shower to leak. Nothing about the room made me feel clean.
The staff were excellent
In general the property on the room and the bed were not good
Spacious rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast, very close to ferry terminal and harbour
There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby
Staff was very nice and helpful.
Wifi was not norking in the room. Room was not very clean. General atmosphere quite boring.
Great AC in room. Clean enough bath and bed.
Poor internet. Breakfast extra $.
The first night, they asked me to choose between two rooms - one hasn't been cleaned, and the other has no air conditioning. The receptionist was also very rude, kept us waiting for at least 20 minutes. To have water, he picked some used tea cup, washed it in the bathroom and go to an office next door and pour some water. I also encountered multiple cockroaches during breakfast. Also, Wifi didn't work unless I am downstairs in the lobby. Overall, worst experience ever.
Staff was friendly
Hotel was old, and wall's paint was falling apart.
It was really dirty. I wouldn't even use the towels. Breakfast was really poor. Do not stay here.
- good location (very near to terminal of the airport bus, near to Retiro bus station, a few blocks from the "city centre") - good price offer (I had a rate ca. 25 EUR/day) - stuff is friendly and speaks English
- some troubles with key-card (I had to come almost every day to the reception and ask the stuff to "re-charge" my card (they did it automatically but it is a bit disagreeable to go e.g. to the 9th floor, then back down and once again to your floor... and if you have to do it every afternoon... ;) - it is better to have a power adaptor for electricity (special type used in Argentina = the same as in Australia and New Zealand)
Good location worth the cost nice comfy rooms good ac
Thin walls You can hear next door snizz
Its close to Puerto Madero and have an easy access to other points of the city.
I am used to sleep in tents in the middle of nowhere with mosquitos flying around but his was to much for the price. And it was cheap! - Don't expect much from the cleanliness. I saw a hole family of cockroaches in breakfast time. Not even they were happy. - Mosquitos in the room - Thin wall and terrible acoustic isolation from the streets. So yes, It can get really noisy at night. Don't even think about staying in a 3 stars hotel or lower in BA. I stayed in other hotels in Buenos Aires and other parts of Agentina and this is for sure the worse so far. Tip: in the upper parallel street theres a 4 star hotel called Facon Grande or something similar. Just a little bit more expensive and 5x better. If you can, go for it.
No wifi, sad place, the elavator was broken, lot of noice, bad bad place
Only minor wifi didn't work in room but was excellent
Location, helpfull staff, nice breakfast and value for money.
The Wifi only worked at lobby and sometimes on few floors. The double bed was two single beds together with one sheet.
the staff (receptionist) are very helpful and friendly
the bed is so soft
Room was small and all the things in the room were old. This hotel needs regeneration. One day they forgat to clean my room. Bathroom was also very small
