Juan, the staff at reception was very helpful.
Location. air conditioner not working.
the staff was very helpful; breakfast was very good.
the bed was terribel and mattress should have been replaced months ago; there was no internet on the second floor
Good location, not a far walk to the to attractions.
Old hotel so not the newest beds or room decor.
Staff were receptive and helpful and the location allowed easy walking access to SanTelmo, Puerto Madero, and other Central Barrios, plus Tango lessons and Show on Ave de Mayo. The metro (Subte) is also close and good value at $AR5 pesos per trip. Room was comfortable and had the amenities we wanted. The hotel can also arrange a pick up and drop off service on arrival and departure.
Although general cleanliness was good, the carpets in the room were in need of a good clean and this is the only criticism worth mentioning.
It was an OK hotel in a bad area. The staff were nice and friendly. The room was clean.
I don't think this deserves a 4 star rating. The biggest issue is the location, while it is near downtown, the few blocks surrounding the area are sketchy even during the day. People standing around fires, windowless buildings with laundry and buildings that are not inhabited. I definitely did not feel safe and I walked around during the day. I checked out early. For only slightly more money I stayed at a very nice boutique hotel in San Telmo.
Located in a quiet street even though the Avenue it is on leads to the main city areas, subte and other attractions. Room was clean. Adequate. Staff were helpful at their best.
Walls were rather thin. Noise from the hallway could be heard loudly and if that bothers you, maybe you need to think twice about this place. It did not bother me one bit!
they put in a small room with 3 single beds
