The staff were great and we loved the b&b. we had the top floor to ourselves which meant we didn't have to share the bathroom with anyone which was a relief. The breakfast was basic but nice and the terrace was lovely.

Helpful Staff gave us information on places to go for dinner and tour of the city. Let us leave our bags after check out. Complementary glass of wine included. Breakfast included eggs. Top floor hallway was a little warm, but not really a problem as the room had air conditioning

The best thing about CYpress Inn is definitely the staff, the girls Alexia and her colleague (apologies I forgot her name) were so helpful and friendly and patient. The location is fantastic in the heart of Palermo couldnot be more central next to Julio Cortazar Square. Free wifi and internet in the lounge. Good airconditioning Roof terrace which is really nice. Booking, com needs to amend it : when you are walkign in you are asked to pay for one night even before seeing your room so I refused and found it quite offputting frankly as we were staying 5 nights. The rooms are tiny for 2 people travelling its almost impossible if you have 2 normal suitcases to fit in so you could defintely find another hotel with bigger room. For solo traveller its ok but if you have big suitcase go somewhere else, especially as you share a bathroom. You need to leave your key at the desk and ring the doorbell every time you come in and out which is not super convenient. Woudl recommend it for one night or more for solo travellers

Great location in Palermo! Very helpful English speaking staff. Rooms were small but impeccably clean. Enjoyed the complimentary glass of wine (nice selection). Tasty breakfast. Very much enjoyed our stay!

The location was good and the room was nice. The staff was helpful and its a very nice gesture to give away a free wine-ticket (also there was a free water bottle in the room). I had a pleasant stay. It was a bit rough in the edges. The quilts could need a laundry and the bathroom a quick fix. The lamp flex was broken which could be dangerous.

1. Friendly and helpful staff. 2. 24 hour service. 3. Reasonable value. The bedroom and bathroom were the bare minimum (ex. no coat-hangers).

Room was nicely designed with modern painting/art and cosy with very comfortable bed. The bathroom was relatively large and clean. Very friendly and helpfull staff who spoke good English. I appreciated the glass of red wine offered by the hotel. Cosy tiny courtyard. The common room and breakfast area looked good and had a clean toilet. Overall everything looked pretty nice. The buffet breakfast came as very small portions to collect on even smaller plates so that it took a lot of time to get some decent portion together. There wasn't much choice. The room was small, but fairly efficiently equipped. The window was next to the stairs so that you can't open curtains without losing your privacy. On the other hand, natural light came from another higher window so that the room wasn't dark at all. The shower wasn't well fixed so that you need to hold it to get water. The next morning, the water remained cold after waiting for 15 minutes I decided to have a cold shower which wasnt very nice. Because 20% adds up to the total bill, the double room (which I used as single) was around 80 euro which was a bit too expensive for what you get.

The front door is varnished wood and looks impressive, but this "hotel" is an overpriced hostel. Downstairs is an area with tables with the appearance of a restaurant. Unfortunately it's an illusion. On the wall is a small menu board but, except for serving a minimal breakfast, the area is unused. "Cypress In" is a trap. Within 24 hours of arrival I notified the attendant I would be leaving after 3 nights instead of the 6 I had reserved. When I checked out I was charged for all 6 nights and was told that the extra charge was a "cancellation penalty". I was told that the owner had the "right" to charge the "penalty" but he would not speak with me. I could never contact him by email, by phone or directly in person. Regarding the rooms: Across a hall from the sleeping room, the small bathroom is uncomfortable and inconvenient. The bathroom has a separate (archaic and clumsy) lock with a different key, and no window. It is not en suite.

We had a 1st floor room with a balcony that allowed us to sit outside and watch the world go by with prvacy provided by a tree but as the hotel is not on a main thoroughfare, limited viewing material. The staff were so helpful particularly when confustion occured with the travel agent we had booked flights to Iguazu with but with their help it was sorted out. Breakfast was good and they had a great selection of books and DVDs you could ask for to watch in your room. Night time could be noisy with the road outside the hotel as used by refuse trucks, cabs and cars and the South American need to use the horn even without traffic!

First and foremost, the hotel staff was polite, attentive and helpful. The continental breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. The complimentary glass of Malbec and the free use of the computer to check email were nice perks. The rooms were clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. The location is great in that it is within walking distance from many interesting shops and restaurants as well as the botanical garden and zoo. The hotel is just two doors from La Paila restaurant which has delicious cuisine and live music from northern Argentina. In sum, this unpretentious, yet charming hotel is a real winner. Nothing. It was all good.

A very nice hotel in a good position for your stay in B.A. (10 minutes walk to metro), busses to city center in front of the hotel). The staff at the reception was extremly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. There was a computer to free use. The rooms and the bath were very clean.
