    The historical building is great with high headroom and nice balcony to see the romantic street.

    the stuff is truly excellent! very very nice and willing to help straightaway! the location is also great. right in the centre and very near to at least 3 tube lines.

    it can be a bit noisy either if your room is on the main road or sadly from a bar downstairs..

    Couldn't sleep because of the street noise. I was exhausted after more than 20 hours travelling and sleeping was extremely important to me.

    Location. Personal is friendly (althoug incapable).

    They gave me a room where somebody had smoked before altough I had expressely asked for a non smoking room. They were unable to change the room that night. Wifi did only work once in a while. Power cuts.

    Most of the staff (though not all) are friendly and helpful – but they are poorly trained and incompetent. The hotel is very close to the metro.

    Access into the hotel premise is difficult. There is no lift. Going in and out is complicated as the hotel wants the steel door locked at all times. This is bizarre. The “suite” consists of two sparsely furnished rooms, one with a window and one without. The bathroom space in one of the rooms is reached by two steps – easy to fall down in the night. The shower was not working. The single air-conditioner was insufficient for the two rooms. Both rooms were very cold. The one cupboard contained only two coat-hangers. The heavy curtain fell off the rings so could not be closed properly. The double-bed had a significant ridge running down the centre. The floor was not well swept and we believe the cleaner did not clean the floor during our stay. The ‘garden’ consists of a small patio and a handful of pot plants. No laundry service as had been advertised. Payment method was, at best, highly unsatisfactory. On arrival, the hotel required a credit-card authorization, with our credit card details recorded in full on a paper without a hotel header. Prior to departure, the hotel asked for payment for our stay. Before paying we checked with our bank and discovered the “authorisation” demanded on arrival had been used to debit our bank account for our stay. The debit was in the name of a company in Miami, USA . When we complained the staff initiated a refund – which was received by our bank only four days later. The staff then required us to pay again, by credit card or with pesos We were not given a regular hotel bill but instead received an ambivalent document from the company in Miami and which we had to sign. In short, it is THE WORST hotel we have stayed in, after living and traveling in more than 20 countries. Would not recommend it to anyone.
