South American Bacchus Paradise
It is said that abundance in Mendoza was so great at the beginning of the 20th century, that the Wine Festival was celebrated pouring this elixir in the city’s fountains and street-side irrigation canals. Originally inhabited by indigenous peoples, the colonial city was founded in 1561.
