absolutely marvellous design, wooden style like a mountain cottage, friendly & helpful staff, rooms are nicely decorated too, offering splendid views if weather plays along:-)

rather poor breakfast offered; walls are not soundproof (which will make you wanna get up early to enjoy the day:-))

book the spa! it's a great way to relax after hiking to Fitz Roy. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and the hotel is located next door to the best restaurant in town, El Muro. We went twice!

Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and spoke English fluently. Really enjoyed being at the hotel. Would highly recommend it.

A little far from the center of town but an easy walk when the weather is cooperative.

The staff was wonderful and spoke English very well. My husband celebrated his birthday while we were there and they arranged for a beautiful cake that we came back to the hotel and enjoyed after our dinner along with delicious tea. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our 2 week stay throughout Argentina. Rooms were very clean, but we had to reserve two rooms because they cannot accommodate a family of 4 in one room

The staff was incredible nice and helpful with everything. The service was excellent and everyone was nice. Excellent breakfast variety and even coeliac friendly. The sauna is small, but nice aft a walk. I would always go back.

Comfortable hotel, american standard. Great staff, friendly and helpful, rooms large, clean amenities. Good breakfast. If I return to El Chalten, definitely come back here.

A little noise from the corridors.

Excellent experience. Lovely hotel, very comfy rooms, good breakfast. Spa facilities available to guests at no additional charge, Very good value for money as well. Some of the staff were top notch, others less knowledgable about the area. All were cordial and supportive.

Terrific hotel. Very clean, modern yet with a rustic feel. The staff, especially Barbara at the front desk, were terrific and made you feel at home. This is an excellent property in a magical corner of the world.

Assolutamente sopravvalutato e costoso, non solo per gli standard di El Chalten. Camere della stessa grandezza costano 1/4 di quello che offre Destino Sur. Da non tornare

Todo. La amabilidad del personal, el trato personalizado en el desayuno, en el spa. La limpieza, la simplicidad de su arquitectura. 100% recomendable, espero regresar.

La localisation au pied du départ des randos Fitz Roy. Déco très sympa de l'hôtel : pierre et bois genre grand chalet, des chambres spacieuses pour les supérieures et bien agencées. Nous recommandons El Muro pour dîner ( bon et bonne ambiance ) il vaut mieux réserver, et la Cervetzia pour ses bières, ses popcorn et son très joli jardin.

Chambres surchauffées mais il suffit de fermer les radiateurs.... Quel dommage que les abords de l'hôtel n'aient pas été aussi "lookés" que l'intérieur, cela apporterait un véritable "plus" si l'on pouvait se reposer à l'extérieur dans un transat comme à la Cervetzia. Petit déjeuner moyen.

Ik verwachtte een grotere korting voor een verblijf van 5 nachten. Prijzenpolitiek is gericht op het hotel en niet op de klant. Voor de rest, uitstekend hotel.

Uitstekende service, vriendelijk personeel, heel comfortabele en rustige kamer, vers en uitgebreid ontbijt, heerlijke spa-ruimte die je een uurtje voor jezelf hebt (heel goed reserveringsysteem), kortom: alles wat je van een viersterrenhotel verwacht.

De prijs voor een en dezelfde kamer varieert enorm! Bovendien kon er geen afdoende korting worden gegeven voor vijf nachten.

Super nettes Personal, hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Bei mehrtägigem Aufenthalt wird wohl der Boden im Zimmer nicht gereinigt.

Das neue Hotel ueberzeugt durch moderne und freundliche Einrichtung. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Das Fruehstueck ist ausgesprochen gut!

Mit umfangreichem Gepaeck (Patagonien!) wird es in den Zimmern etwas eng. Wenn das Hotel vollkommen ausgebaut ist, wird es sicher ein Laermproblem geben (Holzfussboeden, kaum Schallisolierung).

Perfecto. Super recomendable!

• le confort et la vue depuis la chambre ("supérieure" sinon vue sur la falaise) • le contraste avec les autres hôtels/hébergements d'El Chalten ; celui-ci est un "vrai" hôtel et pas un groupe de chambres et dortoirs pour accros de la marche à 5h du matin • un hôtel neuf (seconde saison d'ouverture en 2013) • la décoration des parties communes et de la chambre • à 50 m d'un des 2 départs de la marche (facile une fois passée la pente raide du début) vers le lac et le glacier du Cerro Torre.

• les prises, même dans la salle de bain, ne permettent pas de brancher un appareil électrique européen ni nord américain. Une faute pour un hôtel de ce standing et, qui plus est, neuf. Mais un adapteur est disponible à la réception. • pas de restaurant dans l'hôtel contrairement à ce qui était prévu mais il y a un grand choix autour à quelques minutes à pied.

Lo pasamos muy bien en este hotel, sobre todo el personal siempre amables y predispuestos a ayudarte, recuerdo a Barbara, Facundo y Susana. La habitación confortable, una ducha genial que era un masaje cuando volvíamos de las caminatas. El desayuno muy bien. Visitar El Chalten y alojarse en Destino Sur es la combinación perfecta para vacaciones de montaña.

Nuestra estadía en el hotel fue muy placentera, es un precioso y cómodo hotel que te permite recuperarte de intensas caminatas. Tanto el servicio como las instalaciones son muy buenos. Seguramente volveremos

Lo único para marcar como negativo, es el acceso a internet vía wi fi, cuya señal en las habitaciones es muy débil. De todas maneras cuentan con pc fijas con conexión a Internet

Atención personalizada y excelente. Desayuno cuidado y de calidad en todo detalle. Habitación muy cómoda con todas las amenities renovadas diariamente. Spa con reserva previa muy relajante. Bar muy completo a precios razonables. TV con 130 canales y gran pantalla en la habitación, donde también hay wi-fi (posiblemente el único hotel de Chaltèn que lo tiene). Resumen: un hotel de excelencia
