Diplomatic Hotel    

The Hotel is very near to the city-center. The rooms are big. The personal is very friendly. It.s a top hotel may be the best we had in our 7 weeks trip in Argentina

the rooms were very big and the showers powerful. staff were friendly and helpful. great location too, lots of decent restaurants and bars on your doorstep and isnt noisy at night.

The manager looked after us very well during our stay, esp as it was one of our birthdays. Pool, gym, attentive staff.

Pool area a bit disappointing and rooms very business like. Overall just thought it was not worth the $395 a night a paid - for that money I would expect lovely gardens, a spa, terrace etc not a business hotel.

My husband and I stayed for three nights at the Diplomatic hotel. It is the best hotel we have ever stayed in in Sth America. We booked a standard double and were delighted with its spaciousness, decor and comfort. The staff were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to visitors to Mendoza.

Our only very small dislike was the choice of music in the Lobby and restaurant.

My stay at the Diplomatic Hotel was very relaxing and enjoyable. It is ideally located for dining and nightlife in Mendoza, as well as day tours to the vineyards and longer hikes in the Eastern Andes. Staff was helpful and the hotel's reasonable nightly rates include breakfast and nightly wine tasting. The hotel rooms are reasonable appointed and comfortable.

The shower was a bit small and water tended to pool on the adjacent floor after use.

The staff were very helpful. We turned up at 02.00am. They offered a free extension check out, until 13.30. Use of the pool and facilities until we left at 17.00hrs. Great hotel

Shower leaked on floor though we were quickly moved to another room. So good outcome

Good location and we had a lovely mountain vew room on the fourteenth floor. Staff were efficient and friendly. We got a very good deal at short notice so th value for money rating is high.

The shower head fixing needs strengthening. I have stayed in the Diplomatic before and had the same problem in other rooms.

We loved our stay at the Diplomatic Hotel. Martin Rodriguez, the Concierge is wonderful and we also enjoyed working with Cintia and Laura at the front desk. Martin arranged many dinner and car reservations for us and they all were great. It is a very hospitable environment. Breakfast was included each morning and the dining room staff were exceptional.

We think the pool and exercise facility could be improved with more equipment and furnishings. Business is lost to the Park Hyatt that could stay at the Diplomatic, if they promoted massage and spa treatments.

Really top-notch hotel with friendly staff, great location and good value for money

Staff was very unhelpful were not capable of a simple wake up call. For a 5 star hotel the staff did not seem to even care for the guest. Breakfast was poor. Was very unimpressed

The front desk was always helpful except for the girl who worked at night. Our safe had a problem and she wanted us to wait until the next morning but we were supposed to leave on an excursion. I had to get upset and tell her to call the manager and have hium come over at 11pm at night. He was gracious and did seem to mind at all.

All staff should speak English fluently including the night front desk.

this rates for me as the best city centre hotel for many a year, close to great eating and night life.....the rooms are so spacious and functional. reception staff fullfilled every want with patience and understanding. will stay here when next i visit mendoza

location was great, staff friendly and spoke very good english, very nice breakfast buffet and good food menu.

Swimmingpool was a bit disappointing and small, and no really nice roof top view, one is right above the main road.

It is a good five star hotel and has wonderfully spacious rooms. Good location.

Typical big hotel little personality. For instance "wine tasting" is free in the afternoon but you get one little glass! Also no coffee in rooms and extras are typically crazy expensive. Overall good stay but grand hotel ba was for instance way more personal and special.

The room was really nice, big and clean. The staff was exceptionnal and really friendly. The breakfast was pretty amazing, large variety and fresh products.
