The location, maybe. It's even that good.. You can definitely find a much better hostel in a location just as good, for the same or even cheaper price. Do not stay in this hostel, you will probably regret it.
The staff is not prepared, they are nice but they can't really inform a traveler about how to get around, plus there isn't even a map or anything available for us when we arrive. They barely speak English. The bathroom is disgusting and to make it worse it's not possible to lock the door to take a shower... The beds were never clean, they don't change the sheets for new travelers, they just make the bed so you can think they changed something. I know that because I saw two people leaving and new ones arriving and sleeping in the same dirty bed. There are a lot of people that live there, most of the people staying there were not travelers. The breakfast is ridiculous, the first day I had 2 slices of bread and good luck.. I took it from the bread bag and made toast.. the next day someone was finally there and added one croissant to those 2 slices of bread.
Very comfortable. Extremely friendly & helpful staff, very well ran. Good wifi. Decent showers. Fantastic location near to Las Heras & not too far from Santa Fe av. Also close to ATMs
Lack of maps/information...if they had this then it would be the perfect hostel
The hostel is in a very good location close to all you will want to visit in the city. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is basic, but normal in hostels... Would stay there again.
Only problem for me was had to pay in cash.
there are doing renovation at the hostel so it's very very dirty everywhere (and not only from construction dust...) Workers start at 8am so if you want a place to have some rest in the morning, not a good place to be...
The breakfast was ok if you don't mind eating anything but croissants.
The service was terrible. Some of the staff seemed to be high. I had to carry all my luggage by myself up six flights if stairs. There were no electric sockets in the room. It was dirty and ladders and building materials were stored in random places.
We didn't actually stay the night here because when we arrived we found the hostel didn't have any lockers/or anywhere secure to keep your things. One of the dorm beds had not been cleaned and had hair and food under the covers. The sheets had clearly not been changed. The staff were helpful but we decided to go elsewhere for the same price.
The staff was very friendly and informative. Great location!
It was a good place to chill out for a bit.
Location and cleanliness
Not much kitchen utensils and cooking facilities, breakfast was minimal and information about things to do etc wasn't their. Staff where just there to let u in, give u the key and that was it. But it's new and clean, so there is scope
When we were staying here, the guys were still starting out, but they did everything they could to make the place feel like our home in Buenos Aires! Clean, comfortable Hostel with decent wifi! Very nice atmosphere!
Breakfast could be better!
AC everywhere, fully stocked bar, 24/7 best friendly staff (all speak English), excellent wifi - even in the dorm rooms, Acado (BBQ) night, huge storage closets, security, hot showers, cleanliness
Small shower changing areas
A loud party until 7AM...if you like that sort of thing. Decent breakfast.
Loud party until 7AM. It was Saturday night but this is a hostel where people pay for a bed to sleep. Staff treated hostel like a nightclub. Beer served until 4AM (or later). AC very weak in room.
24 hs reception
We booked a double room but when we got there, there were no double rooms available. No apologies, no excuses. Just that. Also, their add in booking says that you can pay with credit card. Not true, they do not accept credit cards, cash only. We had to sleep in a 6 bed room, noisy, poor AC, staff getting in and out all night long as they also store some stuff in this room... I do not think booking.com should advertise places like this.
