"San Pedro Telmo" was the name of the Saint protector of the Portuguese and Spanish navigators, today is a district very turisitic with beautiful hauses because in 1871 was the area were rich aristocrats were living. Later on this hauses was used to receive poor families and European imigrants. The mix of music traditions from all over Europe contribute for the tradicional well know Tango from Argentina. Today, San Telmo is the center for night life and as well the place where we can find the artistic and cultural life of the city.
On the street Mexico 974, just three minutes from Puerto Madero, five minutes from La Boca y Caminito, two minutes from the obelisco and just feet away from subways, Don Telmo is the perfect place to see the real Buenos Aires.

The staff were extremely helpful both in telling me about where to go in the city and how to get there and also dealing with the fact that my flight into Burns Aires was delayed by almost a day.The room was great, the wifi worked well and breakfast was good. Nothing. It was a really good experience |

1. The staff is very friendly and helpful and location is close to the city-center 1. Strange smell in the room (like in a hospital); 2. in my room there wasn't sockets to charge any electric devices; 3. poor sound protection; 4. for the breakfast we had the same during whole week; 5. I couldn't get my invoice since the printer didn't work... |

Very close to the micro centre (15-20 minute walk) and subway just minutes away. Staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome and were more than willing to assist with booking tango shows, visits to the football etc. The included breakfast was ample supplying cereal, bread rolls with jams, croissants savoury & sweet, fruit, tea/coffee and scrambled eggs. The rooms were a bit small, but they had been renovated lovely and because of the long skinny design of the hotel, they have windows that don't really look outside. |

The staff was very helpful and the "hotel"'s location was very convenient. This looks more like a European hostel than a hotel. The rooms and the bathroom are very small, it has no elevator, and the breakfast is limited. Although it is located right next to 9 de julio avenue, the San Telmo neighboorhod is not a safe one at night. It is very overpriced. |

It's a gorgeous building with a lovely roof top terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpfull and the hotel has a nice atmosphere. I wouldn't doubt one second to recommend it! The rooms are very small, I couldn't even put my bag... |

Very comfortable beds; wide variety of breakfast foods; accomodating staff; hotel is in a quiet area, but still close to the Obolisco (5minutes by bus, 15minutes by foot). Small rooms, but with character. Very cozy! |

We liked the service at the reception desk. They were extremely friendly and helpful in every sense. Their suggestions helped us to see the faces of Buenos Aires that we should miss otherwise. The breakfast was very good for this level of the hotel. |

O custo benefício foi um ponto importante, os donos do hotel são muito atenciosos, a localização não é tão boa, mas quando não se conhece o lugar para onde está indo isso pode acontecer, o café da manhã é meramente ilustrativo, acho que poderiam adotar de um maior capricho. |

J'ai aimé le charme du style colonial, pavés, persiennes pour les portes des chambres, les lampes tamisées. Simple mais confortable. Petit déjeuner très copieux, personnel sympathique. Situation idéale à 10 min à pied de la Pza de Mayo, à quelques pas de l'avenue 9 de Julio. La 2e nuit était bruyante... La situation au même niveau que la réception n'est sans doute pas l'idéal... |

La atencion del personal y lo acogedor de sus estancias. Tambien lo cerca que esta del centro. Las calles de alrededor daban un poco de miedo. Habia indigentes y locales abandonados. |
