The location was excellent, the staff were SUPER helpful, the studio itself was extremely comfortable. I cannot fault this place. We stayed earlier that month in another part of Palermo somewhere else, and when we saw the Dream Studios BA, we wished we'd booked there for both stays. It rounded off our trip to Argentina wonderfully. Shame we couldn't have checked out a bit later in the day, but that was no one's fault - the place was busy! Would DEFINITELY stay there again.
Nothing really - I seriously can't think of anything I'd fault this place on - if you're coming from Europe, bring adapters - the plugs in the building are the Argentinian type where you CANT just plug a two-socket plug into. The place was excellent.
Laundry facilities very good
Great self-catering facilities, spacious clean and modern apartment - we could not fault it. Good location in Palermo.
We rocked up at 4:15pm after a 16 hour journey and couldn't get access the building as the security desk wasn't manned and we obviously didn't have card access. A fellow traveller who was staying there eventually swiped us in and we waited in the empty lobby for about 45minutes. There were no signs to direct us to their level 3 office (reception/ apartment converted to office) and we received no prior email to inform us of this detail. We use booking.com a fair bit for travel and are normally accustomed to a friendly host email after a booking is made reconfirming details etc. The same traveller who let us in later realised we had no clue and informed us of the level 3 office. Lastly the host telling us he was hungover and that he had to leave soon wasn't the welcome we needed. He did not return as promised about fixing the safe. Pool was also not in working order.
Very big beds, modern stylish apartment. The cleaners were excellent.
The swimming pool was closed and had no water in, though we had expected it to be open and, confusingly, towels were provided for it. We also couldn't get in to the building at first because it is key access only and there was noone at reception (the staff were otherwise excellent). A full length mirror would have been appreciated.
Well located Enough utensils to cook basic meal. Very modern and clean. Overall a great place to stay in Beunos Aires
Bar fridge hummed erratically. Pool was empty yet it was quite hot. Chairs on the patio would have been nice. We were on the 6th floor so street noise wasn't too bad but imagine if lower would have been a problem.
Very spacious and well located studio apartments off Av Sta Fe in Palermo, near Palermo Alto. Good value. Good access to transportation. Could walk (20min) to restaurants and bars of Palermo Soho. Laundry facilities. Excellent WiFi.
Sometimes a bit noisy, mostly due to loud TV in adjacent apartment at unconventional hours. Fixtures and fittings a bit 'tired' here and there.
The place is located two blocks away from Bulnes Subway Station (D). Nearby shopping, variety of places to grab a bite, safe neighborhood. Very spacious apartment. GREAT VALUE
Comfortable and very clean space in a good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
A fair amount of street noise, especially on Saturday night.
Clean, large, nice to have fresh towels every day. Liked our balcony despite the noise of the traffic below.
When we arrived, our balcony doors were unlocked and open. Since we had concerns about our safety in BA, this was a bit startling. Our safe was locked and since the office was closed, there was no one to open it until the next day. We had to carry all of our valuables with us that first night. There were no instructions for how to operate the air conditioner, so we had to figure that out ourselves after lots of looking and standing on a chair to see its buttons. There were also no instructions about the wall phone, so we didn't know if ours didn't work or what it was supposed to do. Once the air conditioner was on, it dripped ALOT onto the rug, so I had to put a saucepan under it to catch all the water. We were told this was normal. Coffee maker worked at first, but then started to overflow. Paula looked at it, but didn't really offer to replace it. I also think that there could have been more towel racks or hooks in the bathroom. Shower glass was odd because it allowed water to get on the floor and the only way to test the temperature of the water before your shower is to stand in the tub. In general, I think you have to assume that your guests won't know how things work so you have to give them instructions, either verbally or in writing. It also wasn't good to have no one to call when the office was closed. Although the rooms were nice and the price was good, I think we'd stay in a hotel next time so we could communicate with someone if we needed to.
Great location. Comfortable. Well appointed.
Administration errors - owners let themselves into the apartment whilst we were sleeping as their occupied list hadn't been updated.
Location and facilities. One of the administrators (Paula) is very friendly and she gave us a good place to eat home made pasta.
Olores. The apartment smells like ... tin spirits. It seems someone cooked beef and curry.
Location, comfort. In fact everything except 2 factors.
There is only TV in Spanish and there should at least be a couple of channels in English. The area is perfect but requires to be equipped for the surrounding noises of a large city. Ear plugs or other id a must.
Throughly enjoyed myself and was very comfortable. Within walking distance of some great restetaunts or could stay in and cook in the apartment. It was a treat to stay here.
Really nice apartment, comfortable stay.
Noisy neighbour. Loud music until the early hours one night.
New, clean everything working well.
Great location, nice and comfortable apartment.
Despite being on the fourth floor, there was a quite a lot of noise (traffic, garage exit), but then again it is to be expected in central BA.
Awesome place. Close to the subway and all the wonderful Palermo restaurants and bars.
Everything is ok
Very well situated
great location within walking district to restaurants in palermo and the subway. the design of the rooms was very spacious and nice. was great to have a kitchen on the nights we were too tired to eat out. very helpful staff member on the third floor.
make sure you reconfirm pickup times with staff when ordering a taxi to the airport as to insure the correct time. we were catching a flight to chile and there was a miscommunication. otherwise everything else was fine.
Place was lovely exactly as described, very clean and the balcony was huge. Good location with security walkable to bars and restaurants of Palermo. Great pool on the roof for sunny days, wish we had found it earlier for our trips to BA
We arrived late Friday and didn't realise we needed to contact the office directly, they were closing at the time so we could have been stuck!
Beds were great. Location is amazing. Bang-for-buck factor is terrific - comparable to vacation rentals on VRBO and other sites but for 30% less. Set your expectations between vacation rental and hotel and you will be very satisfied.
Wifi not in every room, sometimes had to use hallway wifi, but it worked when needed. No oven and limited kitchen functions, microwave and small range worked okay.
the overall room was very nice. we only stayed for one night, but this would be an excellent choice if staying for an extended period of time, as there is a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable living space separated from the sleeping space. Plus the location is excellent.
We had a horrible check in and check out experience. Checking in, we informed them that we would be late and they said that the key would be at the front desk. We arrived and the security guy a t the desk knew nothing. it took 5-10 minutes to sort out that the office person had not left yet and had the key. Check out was even worse. We had planned to leave around 7:30 to catch our flight, but ended up leaving the room at 8am. The previous day, the lady in the office had told us when leaving to leave the keys in the room, so we did. However when we got downstairs at 8am there was no one at the front desk and the keys to get out were on the table back on our room where we were told to leave them. for 20 minutes we knocked, called, did everything possible. finally (Luckily) another person came down and we were able to get out. what if it had been an emergency? we were stuck inside and there was no one at the front desk, no emergency numbers, no clear exit. Finally there needs to be a few more instructions in the room. There was a safe, but it was locked and we never figured out how to open it. There was an ac unit that we struggled to operated an ended up leaving it on high during the night and having a noisy sleep. Also we would have benefited from clearer instruction on leaving.
