Duque hotel is a must in Buenos Aires. Good location (Palermo - safe area), excellent staff and really nice rooms. We arrived at 7 am after a very long flight and got our rooms 8 hours before normal check-in time. They arrange transfer to/from airport for a decent rate, give nice tips for tango and sightseeing. Very friendly staff! Breakfast was also good.

Not a pretty street but a nicely remodeled Mansion on the inside. The common areas were spacious and so clean. All the hotel employees were great and the desk personnel spoke English. Raquel, the desk clerk was wonderfully helpful and a great resource for ba, truly an outstanding employee. Walking to restaurants in Palermo was easy. Palermo is a younger, hip area best for shopping, eating and clubbing. It was not the best choice for us sightseers. Buenos Aires is huge and we mostly took taxis (not very expensive but sometimes horrible traffic) to Recoleta, San Telmo or Retiro

Nice small boutique hotel. In general very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice and safe location close (5-10 minutes walk) to the centre of Palermo Soho, BA's trendiest and most stylish neighbourhood. Free wi-fi (as well as two desk stations) and nice breakfast. room could be a bit larger, pillow uncomfortable, some little things; such as shower gel (vs. soap bar only) should be provided.

The desk staff were the best- very friendly, knowledgeable, excellent English language, and willing to help out (especially Roberto, Carlos and Raquel). The rooms were stylishly appointed- small, but efficient and comfortable. The outdoor courtyard was pleasant and landscaped well. A full breakfast is included in the price of the room, a nice option to start the day if you choose. That I needed to go home :) Everything was great.

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff! Did serve us breakfast with a nice and fresh fruit salad at 04:30 in the morning since we had an early flight. We had a quite room to the garden side of the hotel which is rare in Buenos Aires.

The staff was absolutely the best! They helped us with all our endless questions as if it were the greatest privilege. They even repaired my carry-on suitcase. They recommended and made reservations for us that were top-notch. It was a quick two night visit but the staff helped us make the most of it.

The staff were super helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. The decor of the rooms and living areas were delightful to be in. The spa and sauna were a treat and the breakfast each morning ( a selection of fruits, cheeses, hams, croissants and other pastries, cereals, fresh juices and coffee or tea) was a perfect start to a big day in Buenos Aires. My partner felt it was a bit dear by Argentinian standards, however by Australian standards it was reasonable.

The staff are without doubt the most friendly and helpful that I have ever encountered at any hotel in the entire world. The spa is disappointing. The hot tub has to be requested at least an hour before use and it is far too hot to enjoy. The breakfasts are somewhat formulaic and there needs to be more staff on at breakfast time. The bar is badly designed and uninspiring. Again it is never manned. The staff need some basic bar training in areas such as wine serving, wine dispensing, spirit measures etc. Also the quality of the bar in relation to the rest of the hotel is inadequate.

My girlfriend and I had a great two night stay at the Hotel Duque. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The building and rooms are comfortable and well appointed. I would highly recommend this hotel to single people or couples traveling to Palermo Buenos Aires.

-Complimentary teas, coffee and snacks 24 hours a day (although as some guests forgot to re-cover the snacks they were open for flies to land on) -Helpful staff -Free internet access -The 'gym' is only a treadmill and exercise bike in a non air-conditioned room -The jacuzzi was out of order for the 3 days of our stay -We didn't use the pool as although it was hot outside the location of the pool means it's in shade all day and trees overhang it so pool is regularly covered in leaves despite daily cleaning
