The excellence of the staff , the outstanding service ! It is a bit run-down for a four star hotel. A gleaming lobby is not everything. The carpeting needs upholstering, so does the furniture , carpets, airconditioning and television in the rooms.

Elevage is great. Relatively new hotel with comfortable rooms, excellent location and good breakfast. The noise of the street is a little uncomfortable in rooms located on the front of the hotel.

The location for shopping and city sight seeing was excellent. The room we eventually moved to was comfortable and spacious, but getting there with three room moves on our first night was very distressing! We booked a suite room on booking.com, but were not provided with the standard of room that we booked. We moved three times on our first night - the first room we were provided with was grubby, smelled musty and was located next to two rooms that were being renovated; the second room had such paper thin walls, that we could hear the normal conversation of the people in the adjoining room; finally after requesting a quiet clean and comfortable room, we were provided with an lesser standard - executive room- that had king size bed and was just that, quiet and comfortable. Lesson - don't book a suite as they are not worth the money! Also, staff were not very accommodating until forced to take some action, when told the level of service and accommodation was unsatisfactory and not what we had booked!!! Manager of Day on Saturday was the only manager who was interested in providing us with service; this was on Day 3 and we left on Day 4.

Good location in the microcentro and close to shopping, restaurants, etc. We had stayed there some ten years ago and it has been updated so the rooms are nice and comfortable.

Very centrally located and easy to find - especially when lost !! Bed linen is superb. Up there with the 5 Star +++ King size bed was very comfortable. Free WiFi was excellent as other hotels charge around $20.00 a day for the privelege. Breakfast included was more than adequate although a little boring after the same stuff every morning for a week. Servings were generous and always topped up. The Hotel is old and tired. Some renovations have been done but I would not rate it as 4 Star. Things like sticky cupboard doors which defy any attempts to slide. Air conditioning which has no temperature adjustment only fan speed. Carpets which used to be luxurious but are now tired. Silly omissions such as a box of tissues in bedroom or bathroom Really uncomfortable desk and chair height that makes working in the room a painful experience, and I had a lot of work to do as I was at a week long conference. It certainly doesn't live up to its Website description. Try as I might I was unable to find the Gym let alone make use of it. All the signs pointing towards it led nowhere - other than a locked door.

The staff were exceptional. The breakfast was good. It is in a convenient location. I would stay there again! It would have been nice to have a bit of change in the breakfast for those of us who stayed several days.

The hotel staff were the best and they actually 'cared'. The room was clean, large and well appointed. Perfect for a city break. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. The swimming pool was not open and we were not advised of this either when we booked or when we checked in.

The hotel was in an excellent position for seeing the sights and for shopping. Breakfast was included, although the cooked selection was never hot! The rest was a good selection. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and well serviced. A good hotel for a city break. The only thing I would like to see improved would be a little more warmth and friendliness from the reception staff. They were very efficient and helpful but lacked any real interest in you as guests. Having travelled in many countries, I feel I am a pretty good judge, although I may have been spoiled by the attentive and friendly service received in countries like Malaysia and Thailand.

The Elevage Hotel have many facilities like internet wi-fi all the time, gym and swimming pool. The breakfest is great! And the location is very good for turism. The hotel staff is always ready to help you any time. I didn't like the price of things in hotel, is very expensive! One bottle of water is about U$8!!!

Elevage Hotel is a comfortable hotel in an excellent location. The staff are generally helpful. The breakfast bar has a minimal selection and the food quality is below average. Also had a poor quality food experience in the W bar with a salad that was drowned with mayonaise and empanadas that were completely burnt on the base. The hotel is also due for a renovation as the rooms look a little dated. Also would have liked to have seen better information on day trip available.

Well situated for a first visit to BA, hotel facilities were excellent - especially for the price, staff very good and helpful. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. There was some traffic noise, but not to bad - this is a central location so it should be expected. Pool are can get a little cramped if busy - but again, this is to be expected. Having a pool in such a central location is a huge bonus - especially at these rates. I would stay again.

Good atmosphere, efficient hotel. Nice wooden features. The staff at reception did always answer your questions, but they gave the impression that staring at a the computer screen was their priority. Perhaps more staff are needed at reception. The room was a bit dark and the window directly faced other rooms in the hotel, still I imagine it would be difficult to get a room with a view in central Buenos Aires

The service of the staff and all possibilities provided. The swimming pool wasn t open on Monday 14-02-2011, in the morning. In the restaurant they said that it would be open at 11.00 a.m., while in the information of the hotel you can see that the swimming pool is open on a daily basis from 07.00 - 22.00. For the rest, fine!

“I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff are very helpful, friendly and speak very good English. The hotel is comfortable, clean and very well appointed. Upon arrival we were given a voucher which entitled us to a free lunch or dinner during our 4-day stay. The food and service in the restuarant was exceptional. Also a great buffet breakfast! Excellent wifi reception (we were on the 7th floor) and the rooms were very quiet. ” Claire, London |
