Esplendor Buenos Aires  

A very nice, reasonably priced boutique hotel, ideal if you are going on a cruise because it is not far from the port.

The only downside was street noise, but this is Buenos Aires, so it goes with the territory.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great comfortable room and good breakfast in a very good location.

Location is excellent base for seeing various other parts of the city. Staff were in general very helpful and responsive in obtaining bookings at restaurants, answering questions, etc.

There was a bedside lamp that was not working when we arrived. Despite asking 3 or 4 times to have it repaired/replaced, and being told that would be done, it never happened.

The Hotel was within the walking distance of the commercial avenues of Buenos Aires City area - next to Florida Street and downtown area.

The Internet service located on the mezzanine was not the best place also the ilumination is too dark. In order to use the internet facilities you have to make two or tree stops. first lobby, then mezzanine or you room then return to mezzanine. I wanted a queen bed but the insisted on two doubles on a room for a single person. My reservation clearly stated 1 person not 2.

The localization was excellent

The price they´d gave us on 20/04 was 2600 pesos, and on 21/04, durign the ckeck out, the price was 2750 pesos.No explanations were given.

The breakfast wasn't great at all but they said they are changing the company as of this coming week.

The fee of 868 was with out the 21%vat, but I was charged more at the end, and would like an explanation.

The breakfast was a d rating. I have 2 milliom miles with Delta American express card, and of all the hotels in my 67 years, this was one of the lowest rated breakfasts I have had. Let me repeat, this is my only yes only complaint. Where were the fruits... banana only one day. and slices of possibly 2 oranges and apples. are miniscule. Strawberry, blueberry, banana every day. Raisins... I could go on.

Localização excelente, ao lado da Galerias Pacífico, quartos bem espaçosos, banheiro e quarto sempre limpos. Os funcionários foram muito educados e sempre estavam dispostos a ajudar, inclusive dando dicas de lugares para ir na cidade. Recomendo e ficaria neste hotel novamente.

Do fato do ar condicionado não ser individual por quarto e sim central. Apesar de solicitar quarto com cama de casal e escrever na observação que queria um quarto mais tranquilo, no primeiro dia fomos acomodados em um quarto com duas camas de solteiro e virado para a rua, no primeiro andar, com barulho dos carros. No mesmo dia explicamos a situação aos recepcionistas, que foram muito gentis e como já era de madrugada, falaram que no outro dia nos mudaria de quarto e realmente ao meio dia já estávamos em um quarto com cama de casal e virado para a parte interna (sem nenhum barulho, muito bom).
