The parents of the owner are very friendly and the parrila lunch was good (a glass of wine would have been nice for this price) the place is to expensive for what it offers. Especially when they expect you to pay in cash dollars. You can pay in argentine pesos or euro´s but then the rate is crazy.

We were picked up by the estancia owner and her son, who both spoke very good english. They were very welcoming - lovely to meet an argentinian family. If you fancy a break from the hussle of BA I would 100% recommend going to an estancia - so peaceful going to the countryside, and enables you to see a completely different side to argentina. The best day trip I've been on from BA by far (in order of preference after that - 2. Tigre, 3. Colonia (worth paying the extra for busquebus as colonia express v unreliable!), 4. Rosario). You can easily see Tigre on the way to or from estancia. This estancia is brilliant - friendly family - made us fresh empanadas which were v tasty and bbq great. Loads of friendly dogs and geese & goslings, chickens & chicks.. And v nice swimming pool & grounds & hammock. Rooms v nice.

nous pensions avoir réserver une estancia pour voir des chevaux, des gauchos et du bétail mais rien de tout ça. Très décevant;nourriture basique.
