Pool Pool Cabana
Location of room with window from main hotel lobby corridor with vision directly into our room - had to keep curtain closed the whole time; Air conditioning noisy and not producing cold air; Disinterest and unhelpfulness of front desk staff; Slowness of service for bar areas.
Style of hotel
Great place to stay. Larger property than expected but clean and comfy. Good location. Breakfast was sufficient but we don't recommend the dinner buffet....you eat much better food out and about. Nice to hit Iguazu falls and comeback to relax at the pool. The spa leaves a bit to be desired...they are missing the boat in not having more than one MT available we and a few others would have gladly paid and gotten multiple services if they were available and there spa menu and massage table could use an upgrade...i say this only because i work in a spa and could see their potential ;0)
Breakfast was ok; bus stop directly in front of the hotel; walking distance to "Tres fronteras". Nice pool.
Location a bit inconvenient (at the end of the village - need to walk a while to town or take the bus). Rooms/bath need a refurbishment.
The common areas are very nice and comfortable
The room was very tired and needs to be updated. Wifi was sporadic, probably because our room was the furthest away from the lobby. The breakfast buffet was lacking in choices and quality. If you want to be able to walk into town, this is not the place to stay. Taxis are readily available, however.
The location is near to town so you could walk in less than 10 minutes.the pool was nice although a little run down. The view of the river was nice too. The breakfast buffet was better than other places in Argentina with more variety. Things like yogurt cereal eggs fresh fruit not just the croissants and coffee tea that is standard in most places.the lobby and the balcony by the lobby or great places to sit and relax. And the grounds are very nice too. Lots of trees and grass and places to walk.
The room was a bit small and needed to be updated. It was a bit worn and air conditioning did not work very well. Also there was trouble with the wifi connection in the room.the pool needed to be updated to
Swimming pool area was nice and the caipirinha prepared by the staff member at the pool bar was great.
Even the reception staff spoke very little English. The room we were given was dark and felt damp. Dining at the hotel was not enjoyable (waiter made his best to 'encourage' us to leave asap). Overall, not the best experience we had in Argentina
Close to bus stop, beautiful yard, nice facility, helpful staff, good breakfast.
Very satisfactory during week days.
However, Friday and Saturday at 03:00 am. for about half an hour extreme loud music coming from the road along the river. But to cap that, at 06:00 am Saturday again at double the volume! For at least 45 minutes. Hotel staff knows it, police knows it, but it still can go on, every weekend. That was terrible. We would never again go there end of the week.
Got a great deal. Great choice for breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. Lovely clean room and very thoughtful staff who made our honeymoon stay one to remember!
Quiet area, with nice views to the river for the rooms that face that way. Decent bar and restaurant.
Water (or better total lack of) pressure is unacceptable. Old rooms, smelly, uncomfortable beds. Very slow Wi-Fi. Check-in time and process too slow.
The staff were very friendly and super helpful. We stayed in one of the lodges which are a short walk across the road from the main hotel. The lodges were in a lovely setting, very quiet and peaceful with banana trees. They also had their own swimming pool which was lovely and very quiet, we never saw anyone else there. There was a very well stocked fridge and snack bar at very reasonable prices. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and so was the buffet dinner. Couldn't have asked for any more!
Helpful front desk staff, most spoke english; good breakfast.
I took a room with a view of the Iguazu river but turned out a road runs below that local kids seem to use for partying and racing their cars at 2 AM! The breakfast staff does not refresh the scrambled eggs tray often! Hotel somewhat dated. Balcony doors noisy and difficult to open/close.
Very near to 3 border. Great restaurant.
Beautiful hotel, gud foof
The hotel is set in pleasant grounds and has a very good location, away from the bustle of the uninspiring town but just 20 minutes walk from restaurants Also, the local bus to the Iguacu Falls stops opposite. The hotel has an all-day cafe/restaurant, and provides a good buffet breakfast. It has a swimming pool and free sauna, but the games facilities (table tennis and pool tables) need to be better maintained.
The reception staff did not speak any English, did not provide much information and were generally not helpful. There are several shops but these open at strange times. In addition, there are no forex facilities at the hotel, which is awkward for visitors like us who came from Brazil and did not have any Argentinian currency (the nearest ATM is 15 minutes walk away and is not always available).
Breakfast was pretty good. Concierge helpful. The quirky boutique hotel and restaurant -de la Fonte, which was just across the road on the right- nice treat, food was great if a tiny bit style over substance (stay there if you can, it had a nice courtyard with central pool and rooms leading off)
Constant pumping out of air freshener everywhere, even in the dining room! Actually made me feel sick! Lunch was poor, tasteless chicken sandwich with chips. Dark tired room at the end of a corridor on the ground floor. Works were being done in the rooms opposite. Disappointing considering we paid about £63 for the night. TV signal and wifi very poor. Town was 10-15 min dark walk into town (we were there in June and it got dark at 5.30 and we didn't really fancy the dark walk although I reckon it would have been safe)
swimming pool and secluded bungalow excellent, garden gorgeous around the bungalows, bath very large
Good breakfast options. Always a taxi out front ready to take you somewhere.
Location... reasonably near to town centre...
The breakfast and dinner isn't satisfactory... However, it is near town where you can get nice food there...
Nice surroundings, room and view. Very pleasant place to stay. Wide selection of breakfast foods including fruit! Buffet dinner also had a wide variety. Bus for Iguazu falls stops right outside.
Very helpful desk/manager who was of fantastic help in getting our LAN lost luggage to the hotel. Goof location for meals and not too noisy by Argentinian standards. Nice and clean and spacious.
Wireless internet was only the lobby. WIFI in the rooms was not right
