Hotel Ghala Salta  

central location. clean except carpets. locals know it making it easy to find. very easy to get in and out of city

definitely budget. rooms in need of updating, especially carpets. fried cooking smell permeated the hotel. if this was a premium room, i would not want to know what the standard room consisted of.

The gym is literally the best I have seen in any hotel with regards to the free weights. It does only have two cardio machines, though. The pool area on the roof is adequate and the rooms are large. The breakfast is one step above a standard Argentine breakfast with a large selection of bread and pastries. The rooms were large and were being renovated when we stayed there. The location is just a few blocks from the main square.It is a great hotel for 3 stars.

The front desk staff was underwhelming and not very friendly. The parking lot was under construction, so we had to pay to park across the street, $40 pesos per day.

The room size.

We miss ham and cheese on breakfast

This hotel is within walking distance of Salta's main attractions. We had a spacious room with fairly modern decor.

The hotel corridors were tiled throughout and noise travelled not only from our own floor but from other floors in the hotel. Fire doors were kept open and noise from the stairwells was also to be heard from our room. A carpeted floor or spring fire doors could solve this problem.

The size of the rooms. We had quite a lot of space.

I didn't really like the area and the hotel itself was a little tatty and soulless. I much preferred the Bonarda Boutique which had more charm. However it did the job and their is nothing really bad about it, it's just not the most riveting of places.

The lady at the desk came out the dorr and down the stairs to help with bags as we arrived. I knew we would have plenty of help with questions during ur stay. We did. The staff helped at every point we needed it.

The Hotel Ghala management really needs to fix the elevator in the front of the hotel. It is slow, at best, and sometimes opens between floors. I did start going up and down the stairs, which was faster than the elevator, and that ws good for my health. Not everybody can do that though, and it is tough with luggage.

By far the best hotel we stayed in! For a very good price we got nice and spacious rooms. Many facilities are available like wi-fi and internet, private car park (and if full, you are allowed to park at the parking garage just in front of the hotel for free), swimming pool, TV etc.
