Location fantastic. Hotel recommended a good cambio service that got 14 pesos to the dollar (official rate was 8). Security good, you have to ring the bell to get in.
we didn't realise there was 20% on top of our booking. wifi very average....although the connection from floor 2's server seemed to be pretty quick but poor from other floors (ok for checking web but not streaming videos etc).
Older style room
The staff at Goya Hotel were most helpful and made good suggestions,.
The lobby was very small. I didn't find out until my last day there is an extension one floor up.
Room was good size, comfy bed, bathroom good. Breakfast fantastic. Staff could not have been more helpful. Everything I could have wanted on my first night in a new city.
Excellent staff and really nice interior. The breakfast had more different cakes and cookies than we had ever seen before! :)
The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Good selection for breakfast.
The room was quite disappointing. Everything's old and not comfortable. The shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom and the water slashes everywhere. I haven't seen this arrangement anywhere else before. The room was dark and depressing, also noisy because of the construction from the road. Also we saw quite a few homeless people near the hotel. The wi fi is up and down. I think this hotel is less than average, definitely not very good.
The room was excellent but it was a superior room. Breakfast area was nice with a nice little roof terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The front door had recently been broken and was a temporary door and the small reception area was a bit tatty. We were a bit concerned on checking in but the room was much better than indicated by the state of the reception area. The lift was out of order from reception to the first floor but we got help with the baggage.
Helpful staff -thank you, Carlos! Great location and excellent choice at breakfast. Roof terrace a bonus. OK it's a bit run down but all the eseentials are there including hot showers.
Very helpful staff and central location. Excellent breakfast.
Good breakfast Good location Great staff
Air conditioning not strong enough for the insane temperature (December) Common areas not prepared for the Summer
All is OK for me.
Moved here from an other hotel that was rather dirty so nice to find this one clean. Room fair size and breakfast great - lots of choices
The Goya Hotel was a very good place to stay. All of the people on the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accomodations were very nice and it is in a very good location for sightseeing and shopping. The breakfast was very good and the outside patio is a very nice touch.
