Staff did not help us. The room wasnt what we asked for and were under maintenance. The bathroom was not good and it seems to be dirty. We asked for a new one and they gave us another a little bit better. We stayed 2 days, so we do not have time to look for another hotel...

i booked at this hotel because I wanted to stay in an old style colonial spanish building and I was not dissapponted. I think it had a lot of charm. I really loved the look and feel of the rooms centered around the open court of a 2-3 story atrium. Liked the old french style screen doors to the room and especially LOVED the attention and friendly of the staff. They were very attentive to my needs whenever I needed anything. Definitely would not mind staying there again.

Wifi service was accessible intermittently from my room and when it did actually connect from my room, it was EXTREMELY slow. In order to receive a good connection one had to sit out in the public area. But even so, the overall download speed was about 1.5 MBPS which is extremely slow/poor if one wants to video chat with family back home.

I already know this hotel well and was pleased with my stay- but I expected to be. Lovely interior balcony type set up, with wonderful old rooms. The staff were very helpful with my requests. Hotel close to the Casa Posada and two underground stations on different lines. Very comfortable. Nice to come to BA, leave BA for a few days and then come back, knowing you are returning to this particular hotel

    I was happy with everything

The room was substandard. (First floor at rear has rooms in a sort of annex, or attached building). Rug still looked dirty after cleaning; walls dirty, peeling wallpaper. As fresh as an old bus station.

Staff tried to be helpful but our not speaking Spanish was a barrier. Nice central location.

Hotel is in poor condition. Most rooms have no window and are small. Not good for anyone with claustrophobia. Air conditioning is a fiction-- works in a few places only. Breakfast room has a loud tv that can't be avoided. Stairs from street to elevator would be difficult for those with heavy luggage, although we were not affected.

Great location in downtown Buenos Aires, good street view from the room window. Responsive attentive staff, many people speak English. Wonderful floor interiors. Clean comfortable bathroom. Excellent value for the price.

Shower fixed without hose. Old walls of the room have not been repaired. Also that is not a problem, good for the price.

Location and good internet access. Breakfast was ok as well.

Feels very basic, very small bathroom with no shower stall only a curtain separating from the toilet/sink.

The location was great. Short taxi or 25 minute walk to Buquebus (to go to Uruguay). There was a metro on the street and Ave. 18 de Julio with main buses was 7-10 minute walk. The staff was relatively friendly and helpful. I was able to exchange money there but would recommend going to a cueva (There is one on c/Posadas.)

The bathroom had no shower stall so water got every where. You can hear other people talking . I didn't get to try the breakfast so I can't comment on that. A mosquito got in the room and tortured me for the two days I was there. There are stairs leading up to the main desk so heavy luggage could be a problem.

staff staff staff and the Location. architecture of the building.

Wifi is week in Some areas or totally missing in Some rooms like in room 111. Cleaning staff Should find Solution against hairs everywhere especially in bathrooms. But beside of all these facts the location and the staff Makes most of these deficits in a way acceptable.
