great staff big swimming pool the band "los abuelos de texas" playing music
The place is very nice, the personnel helpful and friendly.
We need to do our bed when we arrived
We only had one night here but wished we had 3 nights, Room was spacious we had booked for 3 persons room for us two. Staff were excellent. We could get a hot meal cheaply in the massive reception/dining area. The pool was stunning but we didnt have time for a swim.So near to the Iguacu Cataracts that you can enjoy the Birds and Butterflies from this Hotel/Hostel, Highly recommended.
We had booked a double plus single bedded room but got a 3 single bedded room.
+ Pool that was used + Party Hostel + Nice staff + French girls joining the room + Very cool reception/main building
- insects in the room (Kakerlaken) - dark, noisy, looked more like an army barack - Breakfast (only toast not even dulce de leche) - good Beer on menue not avaliable
I enjoyed my stay in Inn Iguazu so much! One of the best hostels I have ever been to! Staff is amazing!! Thank you so much)
Breakfast is average with bread and cereal, tea/coffee. They serve snacks/fast food which is basic but ok food and a bit less expensive then in town.
Staff is not really friendly, the place is to big to give personal service and when the staff is having their break they put on extremely loud hard rock/metal music in the afternoon at the swimming pool, not taking into account the guests relaxing and reading a book at the pool for their peace. The rooms are basic but alright (although our bed and pillowsheets had old bloodstains on them!), musty smell in the bathroom with not really a ventilation possibility. You have to pay your stay up front! Far away from centre of town and although there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, the busses are so irregular you could wait for 30- 45 min for one to show up.
The pool is amazing! 2 pool tables & a table tennis table. Lots of computers but half didn't work.
Rooms very basic in a dorm kitchen useless, worst we have seen. Too big so no hostel vibe most staff helpful but definitely not friendly.
Great communal space, good value bar ($30AR pint) and bar food, awesome pool and poolside space. Clean and well maintained. Staff super friendly and helpful too. Good mix of younger and more mature travellers. Nice friendly laid back feel to the place. Buses to both sides of the falls from the road directly outside the hostel.
cash only - and no local ATM. Pretty isolated - nearest shop is a 25 min walk away, but Puerto Iguazu is pretty much just one strip of hotels along a highway, so not surprising really. If you do venture out to get food the kitchen is not the best - limited and very tired pots and pans, virtually no utensils - clean but a bit shonky.
For the money we could ask for nothing more.
Nothing that we an think of.
Nice pool, nice beds, calmed atmosphere
A hostel for backpackers that provides everything one needs when traveling. The pool area is particularly nice! The people working there give you a warm welcome and are able to create a great community feeling.
Music, pool, food, staff and their helpfulness, friendly atmosphere, and easy location. Great place to chill out and relax and to meet other travelers
Wifi could be better,
Helpful staff, large room, pleasant garden around pool, large lobby, modern facility.
Had some problems with air conditioning, but it was fixed as soon as possible.
-the bed (6 dorm) was not conf at all and in the room was im my opinion not in a good shape. - WiFi was really slowly and sometimes one could connect to the wifi but not able to use the internet
Fun atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, easy to get to town and the falls. Overall good value for money.
Room was very hot, even with the ac on. Beds were uncomfortable, caved in the middle. Even with a private room it was still pretty loud.
Atmosphere is great, staff very helpful. The pool is very big, sometimes a bit dirty though. There is a nice terrace around the pool to have a drink. I liked the location because you are not in the city (Puerto Iguazu is awful) and you have the feeling of being in the middle of the jungle (you actually are!) Rooms are basic but clean Bus stop to go to the falls is just outside the hotel
Music is a bit loud. They switch it off at midnight, but if you want to wake up early and need to go to bed around 10 - 11 pm it is somehow annoying.
Big pool outside, it's a good place to hang around in the evenings. I think it's quite good option for young travelers or group of travelers who are seeking for a party. Although it's out of city, the bus station is practically in front of hostel and bus departs every 20 min towards the city centre (although there is not much to do). And hostel is not expensive. If you are searching to stay 1 or 2 nights it's a good option.
Mattress was dirty !! bathroom was also not in the best shape.Stuff was not so interested in helping to solve travelers problems. I just didn't feel the vibe like in other hostels, the common room was really big and travelers spread around. Maybe it would be better in higher season with more people. Plus that breakfast are really poor.
Leo was very helpful, way beyond what was expected. The advice given re tours, dining etc was excellent. Our group of 5 ranged in age from mid 50s to mid 80s. We had 3 rooms each with an ensuite. This hostel is a great place to stay.
Between the city and the falls, easy access to both by bus. Place is nice, the pool is greatly appreciated, food médium. All in all a great place to stay.
Swimming pool, good price, Can get to the Iguazu Falls
Food not good
Great location to visit both Cataratas (Brazilian and Argentinian). Great to relax in the pool of the hotel!
Pretty far from Puerto Iguazu , but you can take the bus.
Nice swimming pool, taxi and bus in front of hostel
Breakfast was very poor and very loud music during breakfast. Old hostel and furniture. Staff not very helpful. Almost all drinks at the bar were not available
it has everything you need: bar, big common area, pool, all the facilities. It's clean, modern, comfortable. perfect!
a bit far from the town center, but there is a bus
Staff very unhelpful regarding basic travel information.
