Score from 396 reviews Very good
we did buy a 30m2 suite, we had a 10M2 hot room, 1rst floor on the street, with noise of street and noise of next-door air condition RRRRRRing a a truck every 5minutes all nigth. Evidently we DIDNT had air condition on our room.
Very nice and clean room Very nice guy at reception (Damian) Great location (historic centre)
Very noisy (much traffic: isolation could be better) Minimal breakfast Almost no equipment in kitchen
Geographical situation is nice, a nice price.
The room was very basic and dusty. It gets really warm at night and the room only have a ventilator, which is not enough. Breakfast is poor, we never had any milk (not enough refills).
Location is great for 5 days. Right in the heart of the center with excellent bus network around. Bus 39 or 151 to palermo are both within a 5 minute walk. Bus 8 or 86 to San Telmo also within a 5 min walk. Also there is a supermarket direct around the corner and amazing empanadas just across the hostel...
The noise is a bit loud, you will need some earplugs! The beds could be better. Breakfast is minimum, water, milk, coffee and croissants - thats it... But he its an hostel and we would book it again...
Price - $34usd pn Location - near 9 do Julio Restaurants Friendly staff Comfy bed, clean room Open shared spaces Style - plants, open floors, discreet entrance
No shower curtain Bathroom needs hooks to hang clothes & small table to hold items
Good location - heart of the city, nice old building
Sheets were dirty, we asked to change them. WiFi is poor - almost no signal in rooms
location, breakfast though simple but timing is flexible. Staff are nice. Added value by having a lift, convenient for moving of luggages
no air condition, can be hot
Good wifi English speaking staff Calm environment Close to transit(subway)
Super grateful that there was a kitchen, it could have used a few more utensils, plates, etc.
Nice building with courtyard and large rooms.Receptionists Damien and Paula ara very friendly.Especially Damien is realy problem solving minded.
Never stay at room nr:206 (located above multiple room) sould not be used for accomodation. They never lock the rooms after housekeeping during the day.
Traffic noise but what can you do.
Near to the city center. Clean. Staff is helpful.
Breakfast is only coffee anderen croissants
The staff was very shady, that was funny. This guy, Fernando, was trying all the time to exchange dollars or trying to score some girl. The night guy looked like a serial killer, also funny, and a little bit scary.
Wifi never worked. The rooms were dirty. We found hairs on the sheets. Every single day the "cleaning crew" forgot something, towels, soap, sheets, etc. We ended up cleaning the room cause it was a joke. The administrator, Belen, never showed up, never reply the mails or answered the phone. We never saw her. Only shady guys behind the counter with no answer or even a complaints book.
Excellent location....walking distance to Florida and St Telmo Room 211 wonderful
Very poor wifi throughout Some may complain at just coffee and croissants for breakfast but suited us fine, there are numerous places nearby including carrfour supermarket
very nice staff and willing to help with ie. printing off boarding pass, search for good restaurant etc.
free WIFI only 2 blocks from Av. 9 de Julio. Staff tries to help as good as possible - you get along with english :) For breakfast you get kind of Croissants and tea or milk.
you need to know, there are no cards accepted. Nothing bad - but just to let you know: If you`re travelling alone this might not be the very very best place to meet other travellers? At the time when I was there most of the other guests were travelling in pairs.
Staff was friendly and helpful. We leave the baggage at reception for a week at no cost. They call for a taxi at anytime, included at 3 a.m.
The room is pretty noisy (from the street). Rivadavia is busy all night;) I could be cleaner (sheets, under the bed, etc). Wi-Fi sometimes is not working, but if you are patience eventually works (when it works is ok, but the problem is that it is not working all the time).
Very noisy. For one night it was ok.
The price and location are unbeatable.
Our room was not in a good shape. The bathroom leaked water inside the bedroom. The WiFi didn't work. The staff were not as friendly as previous years.
- Staff friendly & helpful
- WiFi was always out
the hotel is in a great location walking distance from Florida street
the main problem for as was that the staff dose not speak English that well and we do not speak Spanish how ever they tried there best
We stayed in this hostel 2 times. At both stays we were first offered a room with walls severely polluted by mold. The smell was unbearable, however, the staff each time pretended not to know about it. Moreover, the general ability of the staff to speak English was poor, in some cases the receptionists did not speak or understand at all! The breakfast is also very inadequate, only croissants and tea or mate, nothing else at all. The wifi connection is a joke, it is not available for most of the day and very unstable in those rare moments when available. The hostel lacks any atmosphere as there are no usable common rooms. Only a last option if you cannot get a bed elsewhere.
breakfast was really poor.
Very clean and excellent location
WiFi was sporadic
Nice room and ensuite bathroom. Secure location.
Location is near main street but not very close to restaurants, bars, etc. Stay in San Telmo. Staff were terrible. Rude and had friends around at night for drinks, making a lot of noise until after midnight. Kitchen has no cooking or cleaning utensils and labelled food was taken from fridge.
