Rooms and cleanliness.
The place is clean, cosy and it has definitely a nice atmosphere. I had some issues with my flight and the staff was extremely helpful (thanks a lot!!!!!)
Warm and big room, staff helped to book some tours and taxi services (better to ask at the airport, its cheaper than the one in the hotel) Wifi is good.
No fridge in the room !! Thats a big problem because all activities require that you bring your lunch, so unless you buy your lunch at the hotel, you have to go to the supermarket everyday (to get fresh and cold food) and its a 10-15 minutes cold walk.. So location not so good. Breakfast is very limited : bread and butter basically.. Tv super old, you have to be at 1 meter to use the remote control. Shower very small and not very pleasant. Overall overpriced for what it proposes (El calafate is quite an overpriced place in general)
The furniture are wooden, and that's cute.
Everything you need is in the city center, and although it looks like close to center on the map, actually it's not. You got to walk for 20 minutes to go to the center, in the night, there is no light on the road you got to walk. There's better choice right on the city center.
l like the hotel with warmly staff.location is good.
breakfast is simple.
Everything about our stay was simply fantastic. We had an amazing time in El Calafate and this hotel was one of the main reasons. On arrival we were impressed with how pretty the hotel was and how clean. As we checked in we were given advise of what to do where to book tours etc (excellent knowledge). The room was comfortable warm etc.
Nothing we disliked.
Good location with everything we needed and really helpful staff
Super helpful and friendly staff, they help to organize all the tours. Don't miss the Laguna Park 15 minutes walk from the hotel with birds and dozens of pink flamingoes in a natural ambience. Ticket valid for a week! Must see! Best restaurant La Tablita is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Best steaks and empanadas we tried in Argentina! With great service.
Very poor breakfast which is more or less usual for Argentina so get prepared not to spoil with expectations.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is off the main street, so it is quiet.
The staff were number one
The bathroom are tight
Extremely helpful and capable staff (everyone speaks english). Very clean, spacious and well maintained rooms with balcony and fridge. Central heating. Very nice breakfast (coffee (non-nescafe), tea, toast, butter, jam, milk, cornflakes). Possible to book tours via the reception. Would always go here again and can strongly recommend staying here. Extremely good value for money!
It's located up the hill so it's about a 20min walk from the bus station. However, a taxi is available for ca. 2500CLP.
Beautiful hostel, wood floors and walls, really pleasant and helpful manager, comfortable, clean and relaxing
Breakfast, although better than most Argentinian hostels, could easily be made excellent with a few changes (better coffee for one)
Most hotels in Chile are Argentina didn't charge taxes when we have migration card or stamps, but they charged 21% tax.
Clean, have a nice view of Mt. Andes and nice garden.
Quite far away from town centre and not many local people know it's location. Some staff is not helpful.
Owner of the property was available and spoke very good english and we has several valuable discussions. I also had him address us asking if we spoke french or german when we came in. His recomendation for resturants, currency & places to go was also excellant.
A little out of town, but two resturants a stone's throw from the hosteria.
The staff members were very nice and helpful. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Convenient location, near town. Room was ample and full of light.
TV was a bit old and very small. One of the beds had a matress which seemed to be worn out.
After complaining about our first room, the owner promptly has changed us to another room. Juan, the night receptionist, was very gentle.
The receptionist has put us in a room that was at the beginning of the hallway, we've heard everything that happened at the reception and all the guests who passed to go to their rooms, because the floor is made of wood. Also, the shower was very bad, very little water fell .... and the mattress could be better.
Great service, very helpful and supportive staff.
Breakfast was not good. If you stay there count to have breakfast elsewhere.
Wooden structure do thin u can hear absolutely everything everywhere. Breakfast the worst we have had in 3 weeks. Linen horrible, bathroom so small, no window, no air, too hot. Beds uncomfortable. Guests getting stuck in guest toilet. Long walk into town partly on dirt road. Don't go there!
Hosteria was cosy and nicely designed. Staff at the reception was helpful. Nice view on the lago argentino from the street infront of the hosteria. Breakfast was average (the usual breakfast in Argentina: toast, jam and coffee). Good wifi quality.
Hosteria was a bit uphill out of town (10 minute walk to the city centre). Gravel road to hosteria was not suitable for suitcases.
Staff, room was nice. Accommodating to delayed flight.
Floor could have been a bit cleaner.
We had a nice big room. The hostel has a very nice garden. The breakfast is good. Staff was friendly
Price is a bit to high Not in the citycenter.
Great staff, great accomodations, close to the center.
