Friendly female receptionist. Close to bus station
On the day I stayed there was no wifi or internet connection. There was no water at all in room for at least 2 hours in morning and staff didnt seem concerned this seems to be a normal problem that you cant shower at breakfast time was told i could check out late thankfully didnt have anywhere else to go. Wasnt offered any other room to shower. Not a nice part of town only a few mins walk to centre.
well postioned, good price if you find a secret offer.
bath should be renewed
location is fine
erratic reception of wifi--even in lobby
Good facilities and the staff were generally friendly, apart from the manager.
I had problems at check out - all of my 3 credit cards got rejected, and my bank said there is nothing wrong with my cards. It was early in the morning and my bus was due in a few minutes. So I offered to pay in Chilean Peso, as there are money exchange in town that can easily change it to Argentine peso. The manager refused, forcing me to run to the ATM, which had no cash in early hours anyway, and the locals must know that! Cash problem is common in South America, but this instance was a particularly stressful and unpleasant experience.
Nice and cosy place if you're running on a budget. Rooms are pretty big and breakfast is good.
Could have been a bit more clean and everything is pretty worn out.
After spending one night here I decided to move to hostel for a 3 times cheaper price and double better quality. I never regretted it. I was given a room, which was not even prepared for a the new guests, total mess in the room. After I got a new room, where everyting was just broken and dirty. Would never recommend this place to any of my friends.
Fast internet Close to bus station
the owner is very nice, moved us to another room when the heating in ours did not work. the place is still under renovation but not something that should be on your way. already looks very good and homey.
the cleanliness of the rooms and beds was not the best- needs a bit improvemement. the location a little outside city center, about 15 min walk.
Location next to the bus station and central in village
Bad breakfast, dated room, not working wi-fi.
Ask for a room upstairs. The WiFi works quite good there & the rooms are nicer.
Convenient location. Vey close to the bus terminal. Clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff
Wifi only at the common area
Should be refurbished (stained carpet and curtains)
Very close to the city centre!
Several negative points! In general, the employees were very arrogant and unpleasant. In one of the days, the room door was found open as the result of cleaning. The internet was not working during all the staying (4 days). But the worse thing was the attempt of the employees to make us pay in cash instead of using the credit card, with the argument of without internet it was not possible to pay by credit card, which is a lie!!! Finally it was possible to pay by credit card but no invoice was given! Additionally all tasks that were asked them take too long to happen!!
Pathetic facilities. Worse than some hostels I've stayed. The heater in my room wasn't that warm so the room was cold. The pillows were filthy (look about 10 years old). The toilet flush and washbasin in the bathroom were broken. There was no wifi connection in the room. The wifi was not even working properly in the lobby or any other areas in the hotel. In fact, for the 3 nights I stayed there from 20-23 Feb 2014 the wifi and the Internet was NOT available at all. This was extremely inconvenient for me as I couldn't book my flights/hotels for my next destinations. The staff didn't even have the map of the hotel. Will definitely recommend all my traveller friends to STAY AWAY from this hotel.
Toilet leaking, curtain can not close, room very small.
It's an OK hotel. Our room was basic but perfectly comfortable, with a decent bed and shower. The staff were helpful. If you stay here, make sure you go to one of the Asado restaurants and have BBQ lamb. One of the best things I ate in Argentina.
Wifi didn't work very well in the bedroom.
Good breakfast, home made cakes were delicious. Helpful friendly staff and good location. Airport transfers also both ways saved us money too.
Close to centre. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. We got a good deal as the rate we got on booking.com was much cheaper than booking with the hotel directly.
Didn't get shampoo.
The hotel is centrally located, close to the bus station and the main street. The staff were quite friendly and were well conversant in English. The wifi worked okay for a place like Patagonia but only in the lobby.
We stayed at the hotel twice. The first time the room we got was very dirty and worn out. There was a weird smell and the bathroom was just terrible. I tried to talk the front desk into changing our rooms but they said all of the rooms are like this. However, when we came back for a night after our visit to Chalten, we were put into much better rooms. This time the rooms were cleaner and renovated. Overall, the hotel is way too pricey for the value it offers. At least it should offer some minimum level of cleanliness!
Breakfast ok. Helpful staff.
Expensive for what you get.
The reception staff are wonderful. The breakfast was good and there was a great range of food available. The rooms were clean. The view is amazing! The location was great.
It was expensive, but I appreciate the location dictates higher prices. It was cold, even in summer. The accommodation is basic, in comparison to the price of the room. The waiting staff in the restaurant were rude and hostile.
The first room we stayed heating didn't work and no hot water for shower, then we moved to the other side of the building, which is new, warm and very cozy.
wifi only available in loddy.
Central position near to the bus station and the main shopping street.
We were in the room further away from the hall, at the end of a long corridor. Wifi work only in the hall. No signal nor in the room either in the corridor. Staff in the hall was quite cold and not kind at all.
