First night could not sleep due noisy music ALL night from neighbouring property. Meal (steak) in dining room was almost not edible, tough. Only 1chair in room and NONE on balcony as per photo in advertisement.
The place is full of character, details (from walls to door knobs), in the woods, natural.
Just to find out that the new rooms are not rustic and full of character as the rest of the place.
Staff was ok, sone more friendly than others, huge confortable beds. You are in the middle of the jungle and you can hear the wildlife during the night. Nice pool. Breakfast was good, with a lot of options.
The wifi doesn t work at all outside the reception. You can get wifi signal at the pool or in the room but is no connection or is really slow. Should be a better ventilation in the bathroom.
The room was spacious (although they upgraded us to a bigger 4-ppl room after loosing the key to the one we had originally booked, so not sure how the original one would have looked like). Cleaning was done well. Wifi worked well for Argentina. Some of the staff members friendly and helpful, other the exact opposite.
The bus to the waterfalls goes not far away from the hotel, but is usually full when at the hotel. Food at the breakfast buffet ran out all the time, no matter if you came early or late. Food quality ok'ish both at breakfast and dinner, not great. At dinner, we asked if we could get wine by glass instead of buying the whole bottle. They have us 2 glasses for 50 pesos each; the whole bottle for the wine they said they had open cost 80 pesos. Felt a bit like a rip off. For the airport, they forgot to order the shuttle bus for us. They ordered us a taxi and told us it costs 200 pesos. At the airport the driver told us it was suddenly 250 pesos.
no water presior, almost no english, problem with aircondition they did not fix it stuff nice but do not understand what to do
The pool area and the caipirinha. The location in the woods and the hammocks. The fact that we paid for a room but got a whole house.
The smell in the lodge. It seemed it hadn't been inhabited for years.
pool, the green sorrounding the hotel, the foos is not bad (had dinner once and had lomo), breakfast is ok
room was full og bugs when we arrived I dont care for bugs but someone probably does, from the pictures the room looks way nicer
The staff didnt have on new year eve nigth a disponible iron, and wasnt friendly
The room was confortale and clean. The Hotel is good, modern room.
The staff were not friendly and helpful. The Hotel is good but not very good value for money (breakfast was bad). Near pool space is very dirty. Car park available for the guest! We didnt get a car park space. It didnt feel like a 5* hotel
Location, confort, facility
All employess literally push you into taking expecive taxi and organized tours even though all main sights are accesible by public transport. Bus stop 100m from hotel. Trip to waterfals 40 pesos by bus and 330 by taxi... Trip to city center 5 pesos, taxi 50... trip to brazik 40 pesos by bus and 400 by taxi... Avoid hotel restaurant. Expencive and averadge service... better to eat out. Snacjs and pool servuce is OK
I liked the design of the hotel, room was clean and spacious.
The food wasn't good, little choice for breakfast, some fruits were not fresh. It is more a 4 star hotel, so I wasn't satisfied of the quality.
You really feel as if you were in a jungle. Very spacious room.
Unique rooms / houses (something like living in the jungle or safari) facilities were ok, nothing posh - we stayed a night before in Almeria Hotel, so it's definitely a very different experience. Swimming is quite small but cossy. Good breakfast and amazing steak (during dinner).
Rustic lodge type place. Room itself was comfortable and good size. Bathroom was clean with good fixtures and nice hot water, although you have to let it run a few minutes first. Breakfast was fine and important on a trip. Very nice, well kept grounds, but maintenance appears to be constantly needed due to heat, humidity and fast growing vegetation. Bus stop is a 200 meter walk to the road. If there for more than 2 days, renting a car would be a good idea.
A bit outside the town, but only a short bus ride to town. Restaurant in the lodge is fair at best and pricey compared to much nicer place in town.
Nice location, great facilities
Everything was fine
This hotel is actually a bunch of cabins in the jungle with walkways between them. The hotel was exactly like the pictures. The staff was helpful, the restaurant was good, and the beds were comfortable. We didn't try the spa.
There was no hot water in the shower our last morning there.
Paid on cash with a better deal! =D having a hammock on the balcony was PRICELESS!!!.... i did a 5 miles run around the area... so beatiful!!! highly recommended!
Great atmosphere, front desk staff spoke fair english,,good referral for dedicated taxi drivers. Good breakfast and excellent dinner with good wine list. We stayed in 2 different rooms; the older one was quaint and rustic and the newer one was very nice; so all price levels can be accommodated.
Clean and comfortable accomodation and helpful staff.
Not at all what we imagined from the website description. Phoney and rather depressing large resort in forest a few yards from the main road. Huge soul less bare room with big double bed and two enormous flat screen TVs but no armchair. Deck with hammock and jacuzzi facing the forest. His and her ultramodern wash basins and OK shower in concrete en suite. Gigantic reception area/dining room. Un-exotic standard US style self service breakfast and dull but perfectly eatable dinner. Seperate room with a couple of computers and some sad, bored children. Deserted swimming pool facility with multiple pools. One or two helpful staff in military jungle fatigues.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Impeccable service.
relaxing after visit the falls
Nice rooms made of natural materials in a rain forest environment.
3 days of bliss! The Lodge oozes character - no bland chain product here! We enjoyed a well appointed cabin with all necessary facilities - a lovely swimming pool, a spacious dining room with an excellent, wide ranging menu. Helpful, friendly staff who made sure there was someone who could speak english for us when needed. Oh, to be able to visit again - frequently!
The rooms were huge, bed comfy, and dinner was delicious.
We asked the guy at the front desk to call a masseuse for us and we waited 2 hours and then left for dinner. We asked if he forgot to call and he said he just forgot to tell us that the masseuse could not make it in so we wasted 2 hours just waiting for nothing.
Place -it was in jungle, but no to far to city. Good with bus 100 m, also with taxi. Good place to visit waterfalls. Pool is amazing , but with cold water. Wifi.
Hotel is very quit, but noisy in the night from jungle. Rooms are dark, cold and wet. Breakfest poor. No information about hotel, town, waterfalls etc. in room and reception.
