La Cantera Jungle Lodge

Peaceful, good breakfast, good services for excursions at Iguazu cataratas.

Visiting it in winter (july) it was a bad choice as climate was far too wet. A hotel in the city rather than in the jungle would have been a better option. The room was smelly because of the high umidity, the climatizator didn't work properly and was not able to reduce UR% in the room or to warm the room up.

The rooms are spacious and well furnished with a terrace. Good beds.

I'm confused about the star rating - this is a 4-star hotel, but other than room size, the facilities weren't particularly 4-star quality. In 4-star, I expect a certain level of luxury and attention to detail. There was a dead fly on the bathroom floor when I arrived - it was still there when I left. It's all about expectation - the restaurant was very rustic. The food on offer limited. Other than a pool, massages, various organized walks and the arrangement of tours that were priced around 25% above what my remise driver offered, there were no other services/facilities. Very family oriented; quite a lot of young couples with babies/small children. Having said all of this, even though I would recommend to young families.

There is only sandy road to get to the hotel.they order a taxi (who work with this hotel) and we were wait 1.5 hour at the lobby because no one want to get there while it rain...maybe because of the slippery road! the staff were not helpfull. we were really disappointed of our choise

It was amazing, fantastic hotel, fantastic location. Staff extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, all spoke English too which was an added bonus. Local knowledge was good and the taxi service they have was brilliant, easy to book and affordable to use (nearest bus route is 1 mile (20 min) walk down away). Surroundings were amazing and the rooms were luxurious, large jacuzzi bath and huge bed! Food was very good and pool was very relaxing. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Small gap underneath the door to the room (door leads to open outside corridor), we were concerned bugs may come in so we put a towel down each night, did not experience any problems.

Para los amantes de la naturaleza, es un hotel enclavado en el medio de la selva dentro de un entorno maravilloso, con habitaciones muy confortables.

Que está en medio de la selva, es cómodo, el personal atiende bien y queda cerca de las cataratas en coche.

No servia la piscina y se fue el internet inalámbrico del cuarto un día.

Las instalaciones son estupendas, limpísimo y el servicio excelente. el desayuno también muy bueno. La estancia fue sumamente placentera.

Pequeños detalles que desmerecen lo bueno del hotel. Ej , en el desayuno no había manteca ( hubo que pedirla ), poca variedad de mermeladas. En la habitación falta de espejo y cajonera. Muy dura la puerta corrediza del baño

O lugar é lindo, o atendimento é ótimo, a comida maravilhosa. Tudo impecável, recomendado a todos.

La concepcion de hotel es una mezcla de confort y lujo combinado esquisitamente con las bellezas naturales. Es lugar de relajación y aislamiento. Las recorridos en bicicletas son geniales debido a que cuentan con un guia naturista especializado en aves, apasionado por su trabajo, el cual hace de manera natural y agradable. Estos paseos por la naturaleza te permiten encontrarte como parte de ella.

La ubicación es buena para los que llevan carro. De lo contrario el acceso es dificil, especialmente cuando esta lloviendo, lo que no permite salir caminado. La carretera es de tierra y queda a 10 min del centro en carro. Es costo es alto, pero vale la pena cuando se tiene las condiciones de difrutar de las instalaciones.
