City centre location. Very friendly staff who were willing to help out. Great design and felt grand for the price. Clean and comfortable rooms.

The breakfast was good but eggs needed more seasoning!!

The staff is kind and very helpful. The location is perfect where you can take the Subte, buses or taxis to different parts of BUE.

    Noise coming from the streets.

I like everything, it's such a lovely place to stay! The location is excellent - you can go on all of the famous place just in a few minutes from hotel. The Staff is really good. That guys are helpful every moment you need! Hotel is super clean and smoke is prohibited inside the building what makes a big difference in Buenos Aires, where people smoke almost everywhere! The old building has been restored and gives you a comfy place to stay and have a great time with family or friends. Also the collection of arts and antiquarian is amazing, beautiful, just one more attraction of this pretty city. I totally recommend La Fresque Hotel, it's a gorgeous and great place! I'm sure that I'll return soon. Love it!

Nothing! It's pretty great! Some people complain about the AC which has a central control so you cannot change the temperature by yourself but I didn't suffer with it...

70% Although generally low-wage jobs, receptionists and cleaning ladies were always kind and considered. Decoration was very original, which gave us a nice nostalgic taste of yesteryear's Buenos Aires.

30% We were forced to choose between a slightly gloomy but silent room and a brighter one. We took the second choice because of the view over the Av de Mayo; what a mistake that was — the great deal of noise was rather annoying. I do consider the breakfast was abundant and varied. However, coffee and toasts should be improved; likewise, orange juice came out of a sachet and scramble eggs were overcooked and bland.

The place is very nice. A XIX century building that is now used as a hotel. Very charming.

When I was there, December 2012, Buenos Aires had blackouts. The hotel was affected. One consequence was that the air conditioning was not working. Sleeping with 37°C and no ar conditioning was really hard. We asked the hotel for another room with AC, they said that there was no room avalaible. They did not have any fan to help us cool down.

internet worked well, nice and original interiors, the breakfast area spectacular, location central

desk too small, room a bit humid, some small pieces from the ceiling fell during the night on the bath tub

This place was a lovely place to stay! Right next to the subway and walking distance to many attractions! Breakfast was great (including having Sinatra playing each morning). Funky old building that's been well restored! We loved the old school lift!

They don't give you the a/c control which means you have to ask main desk to switch it on, and if you need it adjusted they have to come to the room to do it, but really this wasn't much of a problem!

I really love this hotel situated smack downtown in the city center (microcentro) and have stayed there several times and will be back again. Reception staff and attention you get from them is really wonderful, thanks Gaston, Andrés and Leandro. Only flipside might be for those that have problems to go up/down the stairs inside the room to the bed but I don´t mind. Nice brakfast buffet.

Staff at reception were great and very helpful. First room was small and they changed it with a bigger and better one without question and extra fee. The hotel building was impressive, like a museum.

The sheets of the bed didn't changed in 9 nights when we were there. Towels must be renewed. Room was simple and not well cleaned.

Really nice and attentive staff in the reception. Good breakfast buffe in a nice and roomy atmosphere. Been here three times before and will definitly come back again.

Since the beds are on a mezzanine which means going up and down the stairs its not ideal for some people but I dont mind.

The building and the common areas are very charming, filled with antiques. The breakfast was good and the staff was really helpful. The location is perfect, right in the center, so you can easily reach most points of interest, and there's a subway station right in front of the building.

Comparing to the common areas, the room was very poorly decorated, and there's no minibar. The cleanliness was not satisfatory: the balcony was filthy, so it was impossible to go outside, and the room itself was not properly cleaned before and during our stay (there was a cigarette butt in the bathroom that was never cleaned). The blankets weren't fresh either (there were hairs in it), but the sheets and towels were alright (despite being a bit worn out for a boutique hotel standard).

This hotel is located near the nove de julio street.

The arquitecture should be better. The hotel is old and need some restauration.

Staff was very helpful, they gave us a lot of information about what to do while we were in Bs As. Excellent Coffee.

They should offer a wider variety for breakfast but still ok. Pillows were like a rock.
