The Amerian offers upscale accommodations right in the heart of downtown Buenos Aires. The hotel boasts a state-of-the-art gym and sauna, and a sophisticated British-style cocktail bar. Wi-Fi is free....

The hotel is located in heart of city. We can visit many places within walkable distance. Opposite is a supermarket do convenience to us. Good breakfast! The reception is helpful.
No coffee in the room.
Excellent location. Helpful staff
Unfortunately the room access cards were down when we visited.
The staff was very helpful.
Position and helpful staff. Arranged taxi to international airport at a very reasonable rate.
Menu was limited but breakfast was OK.
Mystery flush toilet
Beds were comfortable. There is AC in the rooms.
Wifi is VERY slow and doesn't work all the time. Breakfast could include more cereal options and more options of bread.
friendly staff, flexible with menu choices
Cockroach in bathroom. staff sprayed extra insecticide next day.
Location: near Havanna - great coffee & chocolate Wonderful breakfast included in cost of hotel
Location! Fun to walk around, site see, and people watch.
Very impersonal did not like it.
Dirty carpets in rooms
Our rubbish bin was not emptied on each of the days we were there. No idea why???
Location to Sunday flee market a 5 minute walk away. Market goes on far ever. Very nice breakfest
AC in room only worked in high had to put on blankets to stay warm
Central location. Excellent breakfast
rather noisy air conditioning
I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was. Whether it was the reception staff or the housekeeping ....i was impressed. I also loved how they arranged tours and excursions efficiently. I loved how spacious the rooms were it was just amazing!
There arent enough plugs. Please improve wifi connectivity. Bad connection. It would be good to have remote controlled aircon. The breakfast wasnt great.. the eggs were sloppy and the croissants were dry. Not enough juice or other types of beverage.
The fact that the hotel actually read and complied with my request for the room type, quiet corner, etc. The staff who readily gave tourism information and advice. The central location, could walk to a lot of places.
There must be a Spanish/English dictionary for common sayings, thus invest in one or two so as to help guests who dont speak Espanol. The dirty streets around, which is a municipal problem.
Fronteira Desk staff was one of the best I've ever met. Precise information, smiling faces and very kind to me and my mum (70-years old lady). Room was beer than expected considering website pictures. Location is exactly was to expect from a hotel in the heart of micro center of Buenos Aires. Just perfect. 2 blocks from subway red line, 4 blocks from Puerto Madero and 2 blocks from Florida street. Can it be better?
The breakfast staff was disgusting. Cleaning concepts were far from their behavior. The food is ok, not bad as I reading other posts. Fresh fruits, some types of breads, yogurt, coffee .... But staff was so disgusting... They cleaned the tables without taking all cutlery from previous guests out of the table. Including paper napkins. If anything looked untouched, they just moved from one side to another to clean leftover food and left the paper napkin and cutlery in the table to be used by next guests as they were cleaned. This topic was the only one that bothered me but bothered a lot.
