눉Though our room (no. 10 on the 1st floor) was quite big and bright (but no balcony), and we liked the atmosphere, it definitely lacked cleanliness - especially the bathroom! There was old dust everywhere, and even the floors got never properly cleaned (the room seemed to be "cleaned" within 5 min. only).
In addition a few things needed to be repaired, but nobody seemed to care: The window in the room didn't close, the closing mechanism of one bathroom window was broken, the water tap was broken, and the shower head was calcified (I cleaned it myself with a needle). The air-condition was leaking and made a weird noise at night while not cooling properly.
While the breakfast was nicely set up (though not 4*), there was not a single change in the variety during our 5 nights stay. But you can choose between fried eggs and scrambled eggs freshly made.
One hint regarding the rooms:
If you opt for the suite, you should be aware that it's located directly beside the pool, and all guests can look right into your room from their balconies/terraces, as well as during breakfast - hence there wouldn't be privacy at all!
눇The hotel's location in Chacras de Coria is very central and in short walking distance to restaurants and shops. If you have booked some tours (e. g. wine tastings with pick-up service), there is no need of a rental-car.
The atmosphere of the hotel is boutique style, warm and cozy, and the small garden with pool area makes it easy to relax.
The very young front-desk staff speaks pretty good English (which is very helpful for guests who don't speak Spanish), and all of them were very friendly.
