Main street location, good clean rooms, decent bathroom, nice breakfast room, friendly & helpful staff, English-speaking. Definitely stay again if we return.
WiFi not too good in our room. Street noise (not the Hotel's fault), parking.
The hotel stunk of sulfur; the noise level from the street was unbearable, causing us not to be able to sleep the entire trip. I would never go back to this hotel, nor would I recommend to anyone. Ushuaia however is beautiful!
Very helpful and friendly staff, great view, good location. Rooms are nice and clean, and really warm.
Breakfast is a bit scarce, but not bad. Not all staff speak English.
Loved the decorating and atmosphere, very suited to the area.
Walls are very thin and I was able to hear every noise including a guest in the next room who was snoring all night
Friendliness of staff
I did not like that I requested a wheelchair accessible room and the bathroom was not very accessible as regards the bath
View from the breakfast room.
Room was very dark. If you can get one with windows that face outwards rather than towards the inner courtyard. Expensive compared to other hotels in Argentina.
- Nice staff - Good decor - Mini bar and restaurant had reasonable prices
The room was small and very noisy. We were on the 3rd floor and the restaurant on the 4th floor. At 6a.m. they started preparing breakfast and making noise. The room has bad ventilation and only a small window that faced other rooms. No privacy. The bathroom didn't had a countertop. No space for placing anything. Bad price-quality relationship. We paid US$ 1172 for 4 nights.
The staff was very friendly at breakfast, lounge and reception
I liked that the hotel was in the middle of the main street in Ushuaia; close to restaurants and shops. The room was heated by individual radiators which could be controlled in each room and the windows opened for fresh air. We had three adults in a triple and it was quite roomy.
Although breakfast was free in the hotel restaurant on the top floor (and the view was quite nice), lunch and dinner were at a cost. Although the cost was reasonable, the service was slow . We found much better meals at a reasonable price elsewhere in the city.
very good location with a great terrace overlooking the Beagle Channel; the personnel was far more helpful than in Lennox Buenos Aires
Location. Polite staff. Nice view from the breakfast area
For two days nobody came to clean the room and we had to ask for towels
the location in center of town
somewhat overpriced, even for the inflated Ushuaia market
Bed was comfortable, room was clean and nicely decorated, breakfast was delicious, staff was helpful.
We had to sit in the lobby to use the internet. The signal was not strong enough in the rooms. Noise from main San Martin Street was very loud and woke us up.
with good location in the downtown, convenient for shopping and eating.
the receptionists have lack of smile. rooms are small.
The breakfast is excellent for Argentinian standards: everything fresh and a good selection of bread. The location on San Martin is perfect.
If you sleep on the San Martin side of the road, you can't sleep with your window or door open, due to the noise. Take ear plugs. Other than that: it is a nice and quiet hotel.
Although we arrived early off our ship from Antarctica we requested an early check in. They said 3 pm, but managed 11 am !
Room suffered a bit from noise (from other rooms)
Good location, accomodating/helpful staff
Nice rooms. Good wi-fi
Front desk clerk was incredibly rude and unhelpful upon checkin -- not a good "welcome" when you've had flight delays, arrived very late and are very tired. The location -- main street in Ushuia -- is very noisy. Don't stay in downtown Ushuia due to lack of parking and noise. Everything is very close in Ushuia so no need to be in "center of town".
Excelent location, confort rooms, good breakfast
Ask for a room with the windows facing the internal area, the street can be very noisy
The location is in den middle of the town
It can be a little noisy, the rooms are to small, there is not realy space for luggage.
The desk staff was very friendly, especially Paula who helped me book city tours. The views from the restaurant and my room was simply amazing and the breakfast was good. My Room was tiny but the bed was very comfortable. Location is fantastic (innercity) for visitors who wants to enjoy Ushuaia since everything is at very short and walking distance. Overall, a good choice for me and everybody who is looking for quality stay innUshuaia at affordable price....
Bathroom was smelly sometimes and the hotel interior colors could be brighter.
The reception staff ( I am so sorry to forget her name) is very friendly and helpful, always keeps charming and attractive smile. Especially I found reserved room with a defective heating radiator and droping water, she checked system and ran up-down stairs to fix any other room availability. Finally I exchanged a new room for 3 persons, although I were alone. However, it only took me few minutes and her smile made me cannot be angry always. The hotel location is amost starter of main street in Ushuaia, so that I only need walk to one direction of the hotel only would be enough to find stores, resturants and museums.
As exactly same as Lennox in Buenos Aires, the breakfast cannot satisfy my basic requirements: I cannot find eggs at the least. But Lennox Ushuaia has much better breakfast viewing, I can easily see the moutain, sea, port and ship from surrounded big windows. If consider that, the breakfast would be not the point, evenif only coffee would be fantastics.
