Hotel was clean and rooms of a very good standard but the hotel staff stand out as some of the most helpful and pleasant people we met on our trip around Patagonia! Diana at reception was outstanding - nothing was too much trouble and everyone did their best to make us welcome and help whenever they could. They made our stay at Monasterio very enjoyable.
Wifi was useless throughout the hotel. Location was a little out of town but we didn't mind too much and could still get around with ease.
Great rooms, beautiful landscaping, nice indoor pool, good prices, excellent staff.
Lots of stairs to the front lobby and to the rooms...
Everything was organized and Layla introduced us to the property and escorted us to our room. Other staff were very helpful in arranging a tour and the restaurant staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The hotel very quite and has a very nice setting. It was easy to have the staff call a taxi to get to the downtown area. The pool was nice with heated water even though the temps were cooler in the late summer. However, the hot tub was only tepid (which we found at other hotels in Argentina). We had a massage, which was excellent value and of good quality.
The food at the hotel is only OK. Breakfast was about standard for hotel. The front desk staff didn't seem particularly helpful, but they were nevertheless friendly.
Quiet. Spacious room and good breakfast.
Difficult to find, the first time. WiFi off and on and off.
We enjoyed our stay and the front desk people were so helpful. It was a $AR40 ride into town, but well worth it for the country atmosphere and beautiful view of the mountains and Lake Nahuel Haupi.
The walls must be " thin" because we could hear the man next door snoring and the traffic on the road behind the hotel.
Everything was great - from the stuff that explained everything in details (and was happy to help with anything) to the spacious and super-clean rooms to the pool with amazing views. if you have a car in Bariloche - consider this hotel and you won't regret. (you could go without a car, but not sure how you would go to places)
The staff were charming and helpful. The views from the breakfast room and the terrace outside the pool were lovely. We were offered a choice of 3 rooms, crossing one that was away from the pool and quieter. All the rooms we were offered were spacious.
Convenient nice hotel with lake view, in-door pool, good breakfast and good location, if you have a car, since it is located 4km from Bariloche town center.
Dirty road to reach the hotel and not recommended to do it by foot due to the dust. So you need a car.
What a fabulous place. This was our bit of luxury during our trip to Argentina. Superb rooms and facilities and lovely food, which for us was fantastic value for money. Staff were all so friendly. Thank you
The room was perfect
The hotel is quite far from the town and the public transports are not reliable. A car is mandatory.
very spacious rooms; pool & jacuzzi; modern and stylish
road to get there; not all rooms have a good lake view
Quiet location with some good views of the lake. Swimming pool. Generally, very friendly, helpful and polite staff. Good value for money.
Electricity cables which ruined the view. Most rome do not have lake views. One ember of staff was very grumpy during one of the breakfast service. No food available between breakfast and evening meal.
Great views, nice swimming pool and sauna, with incredible gym. Great spacious rooms.
Service in restaurant was below standard, food was ok. It's really 5 km out of city center and there's no transfer service. Taxi was rather cheap so that was fine in the end (besides the fact that bariloche city center itself is not that great, so why go there? :))
great location, once we found it
breakfast not brilliant
view and space of the room
The bed was the most comfortable that we've ever tried! The view from our room was spectacular. The room was nice and big. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful and lovely. Thanks for making our Christmas so special!
The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the huge bedroom was wonderful! Super comfy mattress, plus a private bath with jacuzzi feature. Really nice view too.
The hot tub by the swimming pool was more cold than hot, and the masseuse and gym trainer aren't there on Sundays (possibly just the Sunday we were there).
Amazing view, we book an apartment room and it was awesome. There was a guy called Lucas who was very friendly and a great advisor for the city,
Excellent, attentive, polite and professional staff. The location is perfectly near bus stops. The pool and spa area is clean and well maintained, state of the art. This place is a gem overlooking the lake!
Beautiful hotel with clean and updated rooms. Nice if you want to be outside of town. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Great hotel.
A bit far from town.
This place with a nice design and touch of luxury is located outside the centre of Bariloche at a slightly elevated part of town. Excellent, friendly and mostly bilingual staff. Easy parking spaces at the premises, an indoor pool, gym and internet facilities. Finding the location at evening/dark can be a bit difficult, as the roads around are not very well lit, but using the print out map of the address this should not be a problem. Having own transportation means is a pre, otherwise one would depend on taxi's to go into town.
We liked very much the hotel. The staff is nice but very poor english. The breakfast is modest... People should know that the hotel is 5kms from the city. From the main road (without a car) you have to climb a slope at 40 degres for around100mtrs which is not very easy if you are not trained
Staff was very,very helpful,friendly,welcoming !! The massages were a dream !
Can hear everything from the neighbour's room ! No kettle (tea/coffee) in the room ! No roomservice available ! No 24h possibility for eating ! Long walk into the city along the very busy main road without pavements ! Whirlpool was cold !
It is a recently renovated beautiful hotel, extremely quiet and very well attended. The common areas and rooms are in excellent conditions and shiny cleaned. Privileged views. There was a guy of the staff "German" who helped us with all we needed, he guided us and recommended us excellent places and activities, he was so helpful.
The hotel is located about two blocks from a main street so it is recommended to rent a car or take taxis or remises. The hotel staff could help with the car rental.
